Garry and Paul are extremely knowledgeable in their trade. They aren't stereotypical workmen in that they are polite, well mannered and are articulate communicators. They have carried out work for me now on two occasions and on both times their final bill was less than they quoted. I was also amazed that Paul was able to replace the bricks perfectly while replacing one with an airbrick - so now I have a spare! Great job and gave me real peace of mind to know that the job was being done properly. I totally recommend them to anyone in the Christchurch area who also might have the same problem of wet cavity wall insulation. Cheers guys!

I asked the team at Perfect Pointing to repoint my sea-facing walls and to add a few more air bricks to prevent the damp that has been happening in my kitchen. The work has been carried out very efficiently and tidily. No mortar dust blew around as the team used special vacuums whilst grinding out the old mortar. The wall was also cleaned thoroughly afterwards. I am delighted with the work carried out.

Perfect Pointing re-pointed a 1920s property including replacing damaged bricks and clearing cavities where required. A very professional approach on the initial inspection giving detailed quotes and answering adequately any concerns I had. Work was delayed by wet weather, however when work started it was completed in the scheduled time. It was a pleasure to see a skilled man at work that obviously enjoyed what he was doing. The site was always kept clean and tidy and the raking out of the joints was executed with the least amount of dust and noise. The bungalow and garden wall now look as new as when they were built and it is a credit to this very professional firm. I would highly recommend Perfect Pointing to anyone, albeit they are a bit on the expensive side, but then the workmanship is of the highest quality. The final invoices matched the original quotes, so no unpleasant surprises there, with no extras added.

House completely repointed in Lime mortar, including chimneys. Fantastic job, house looks a million times better. extremely professional and courteous team, site left spotless, full dust extraction when grinding and able to work flexibly around other contractors. If I could give 11 out of 10 I would.

Could not recommend highly enough. Replaced 200+ bricks and finished by pointing the wall with lime mortar.Started 8 am promptly and worked like Trojans through until 4.30 p.m. Honest, reliable, trustworthy...very difficult to find by today's standards. I would definitely recommend Perfect pointing. This company is highly professional in every way. I was given a very detailed quote by Garry for replacing nearly a 100 bricks, and repointing the side and rear of my house. The work was carried out to a very high standard. Karl kept us informed throughout. Everyone on the tram worked extremely hard, especially Mareks and Lucian. Everything was always left tidy at the end of each day and a thorough clean up was carried out on completion If you need to have pointing etc done, don't look anywhere else. These guys are the best.

I unreservedly recommend Perfect Pointing. Communication was friendly and helpful from the start. I wanted walls repointing with lime mortar and wall ties and bricks replaced if necessary. A clear detailed breakdown of the potential work and costs was provided. Garry and Karl assured me that optional work would be accounted for and that I would be fully informed. At the start and throughout each day, I was politely consulted on every necessary decision with clear explanations. No work was done without my agreement. Karl, Mareks and Alands proved to be excellent craftsmen and it was a pleasure to employ them and see what they could achieve. We were having serious issues with damp in our Victorian house. We hired a surveyor who gave us a long list of work that needed doing. This included repointing two walls, replacing 200 bricks, a new DPC, clearing out debris from the cavity, creating French drains around the perimeter of the house, installing new wall ties, deep cleaning the brickwork and coating the brickwork with Storm – Dry to make it waterproof. Garry from Perfect Pointing assessed our house and gave us guidance about the choices available and a quote which we accepted. All the guys who worked on our house have been amazing. They were all polite, cheerful and approachable, and their work ethic was second to none. Paul, who did the bulk of the repointing, did an awesome job and the house now looks fantastic! I can’t recommend Perfect Pointing enough. The work was done to the agreed budget and on time.

The work to re point the front of the house was done on time and with minimum of mess. At the end of each day the mortar dust was cleared up and the site was left tidy . I recommend Perfect Pointing without hesitation as Garry and his team were very efficient and courteous and when asked to do a little additional patching in the garage my bill was not increased. Great workmanship.

Smooth process from start to finish. Garry was prompt to quote and answered the many questions I had about the job. It was booked in quickly and competed within the time frame. We needed a number of bricks to be replaced and several areas around two sets of Victorian steps to be re-pointed. I had a good feeling right from the start while the job was assessed and how their quotation allowed flexibility depending on the number of bricks that needed to be replace. They were even able to source some authentic bull-nosed capping bricks to match those that required replacing. Heavy rain delayed the work for a couple of days but once the team arrived they worked continuously until the job was finished. The team were polite, helpful and cleared up as they progressed along the walls. They worked around the residents' access requirements and had a dust extraction system to keep the mess to a minimum. The tradesmen took a great pride in their work, which is a rare quality in this age and they were very skilled/competent. I was very happy with their standard of workmanship and performance.

Front (north facing) and side elevations of our brick-built three storey townhouse were weather protected. Very professional operation from start to finish. All preparatory work and sealing done on time and to budget. We were kept informed of the progress at all times by the hardworking, polite, friendly and punctual team of two.

The work carried out was the repointing of a gable end wall, they carried out the work in a very professional and courteous manner. They kept us informed at each stage of the work and cleaned up at the end of each day. They advised me that some work that I had requested to be done, related to wall ties, was unnecessary after they opened up the wall to check them, this saved me a considerable cost. I have already asked for a quote for additional work and my neighbour has also asked for a quote for work based on the workmanship he has seen.

I cannot recommend perfect pointing highly enough. I needed work doing quickly and within a week or so Gary had been round and given me a full quote and advised me on other things which proved to be very useful and in no way did I feel at any point under pressure and we agreed the work to be done and fixed the price. Within days Carl and his colleague started the job and within days it was completed too a super high standard. They were polite and professional and clean tidy and organised and answered any queries I had. The price agreed stayed fixed. The whole team were a pleasure to deal with and I would defiantly recommend them on with full confidence .

Our old front boundary wall was in a poor state, having been badly repointed using Portland cement which cracked the fronts off a number of bricks. Perfect Pointing did just that, replacing the damaged bricks with handmade bricks that matched. The end result is superb. They were very agreeable people to work with and we are very satisfied with everything about this job.
