Peter installed a new boiler last year and today he came for the annual service. He is indeed professional and efficient. The charge was also reasonable. I would highly recommend him.

As a longtime Which? subscriber, my first port of call to find a quality heating engineer to install a new boiler, was of course this Which? Trusted Trader webpage. Crawford Heating Services was the second business listed operating in our area and I therefore called the first two on the list to request an estimate and Peter did not let me down. Finding a gas engineer of his calibre is a rare commodity these days and after many years of “home care” type service agreements, I was delighted to finally discover Crawford Heating Services. Peter arrived promptly on the agreed date to provide an estimate, was very thorough in preparing this, patiently answering multiple questions, explaining in detail what was involved and gave us a written copy a couple of days later. He is totally trustworthy to the point where we were happy to give him a key to so he could do the installation in our absence and he left our property very tidy upon completion of his work. I therefore have no hesitation in recommending Crawford Heating Services to anyone in the market for a new gas boiler.

We have used Crawford Heating for several years now. Peter serviced our boiler for a few years and last year installed a new combi boiler in our loft, a job which he completed professionally and efficiently. Last week he came to do our annual service. Peter is always so helpful and completed the job thoroughly, ensuring that any questions were answered. He is absolutely trustworthy and charges are reasonable. I would highly recommend him as a boiler engineer.

This was Peter's annual servicing of our gas boiler, which he has carried out for several years. As usual, he attended when agreed, did his usual thorough job, explained why additional inhibitor was necessary and sent in his customary, very reasonable bill. I have no hesitation in recommending him.

Peter diagnosed a recurring problem with the cistern, sourced and fitted the a more reliable replacement part solving the problem.

Reported a fault with my Central Heating. Was contacted the next day, confirmed what the problem was, Mr Crawford arrived at my house in the afternoon with spare part. He checked my system, replaced the faulty part and all was functioning correctly. The service couldn't be better and Mr Crawford is a very professional gentleman.

He arrived on time, ensured my carpets were protected and carried out the removal of my old boiler and installation of the new one within the agreed 1.5 day schedule. He clearly knew exactly what he was doing. In particular, his work on fitting a new flue via my recently decorated bathroom was impeccable. With the boiler up and running, he helped me install and register the HIVE app and explained how it worked. He removed all the debris and dust and left me feeling very happy with a job well done.

Peter installed a new Worcester Bosch boiler in my second floor flat. I received a very clear quotation from Peter detailing all the work and, as it was not a straight forward installation, he was able to reassure me over several emails that the work could be achieved with minimum impact to my newly fitted kitchen. Peter's quote was competitively priced compared to other companies but what really made up my mind was how helpful he had been during his visit, willing to spend time to explain everything to me and work out the best solution for fitting the boiler. The boiler was installed on schedule, fitting it into my holidays even though Peter had only just returned from his own holiday in the early hours of that morning! The work was carried out in a professional way and my kitchen was left clean and tidy with minimum impact as promised. We had a new boiler installed by Peter - initial visit provided us with good understanding of work required (and other options), which was followed by a full and clear quotation. The work was then done on schedule, progress was clearly communicated and, on conclusion, everything was left neat and tidy. We were provided with clear guidance on the relevant system controls. All in all, a high quality job and a pleasure to deal with.

Peter installed our gas boiler 5 years ago and has carried out an annual service every year. The work is always done to his very high standards and we've had no problems whatsoever during this time. He is always on hand to remove and replace radiators whilst we are decorating, even providing advice on replacing radiator thermostats. We would highly recommended him.
