The boiler service was carried out quickly and efficiently, as usual. There was no fuss and the kitchen was left clean afterwards. During this visit, I also asked the plumber about replacing my bathroom taps and he gave me some very helpful advice. I've been using Peter Brown Plumbers for about 20 years and have always had good service from them.

We asked Peter Brown Plumbing And Heating to quote for the remodeling of an under utilised under-stair space into a room with an additional toilet in our old house. A realistic quotation was provided which we accepted.Work started on time and the involvement of the various necessary trades-plumbing,carpentry,plastering and electrical was well coordinated.The tradesmen themselves were highly capable helpful and courteous.Potential difficulties in connecting to existing services in confined spaces were overcome.Work was successfully completed on time and to budget. After a weekend without hot water, one plumber visited on the day I rang the company, to diagnose the fault. He returned to confirm the cost of replacement parts and that another plumber would come the following day to repair the immersion heater. Within 36 hours of calling the company we had hot water again. This is the third time that we have used this company and they have always impressed us with the quality and speed of service.

I booked Peter Brown to replace a radiator thermostatic valve and to replace an under-bath shower pump. Peter Brown did not quote a price for the job, only an hourly rate. They took my credit card details before starting the work to ensure that they would get paid - I'm not enthusiastic about that, as you don't always know if the work will be up to standard. The plumber was efficient, tidy and avoided having to drain down the system. After he went I noticed on his handwritten invoice he had written, in relation to the new shower pump he had supplied, "no warranty as unable to install to MI". He did not explain this to me, and I emailed the company twice to ask for an explanation, particularly whether the failure to install to manufacturer's instructions could affect the performance of the pump. I still don't have an answer, and am therefore reducing my star rating for this company - and I don't think I would use it again.

Great service from Peter Brown Plumbing & Heating Ltd in Harrow & Wealdstone. Usual annual boiler service for our Worcester Bosch 4000 24 KW System unit. Reliable, Efficient, thorough check over lasting 45 minutes. Service engineer Alan never rushes the job, always arrives on time, and is very sociable & talkative. Work carried out at the agreed cost, with no issues at all. Have used this company for some 15 to 20 years now for all types of gas work, both repairs, servicing and new boiler / taps, etc installations.
