We had read really good reviews of this company. We had a broken outdoor waste water pipe. The company said they were very busy and could not arrange an early appointment but because we were unable to use out bath they would bear us in mind if they had a cancellation. This what happened and the person who came replaced the broken pipe very quickly which meant we were only unable to use the bath for a very few days. We were very pleased.

Peter carried out a domestic boiler replacement for us plus general updating of the heating system. All work was completed in a very satisfactory manner. There was one delay due to old pipe work not giving adequate gas pressure and this involved Cadent being called into reposition the gas meter on to an outside wall. We were advised by Peter in advance that it could be an issue. PB were always extremely organised, professional and tidy when here. They and Cadent did everything they could to minimise disruption and alleviate cold conditions over a weekend. Peter Brown are excellent and strongly recommended

Installation of Bosch Worcester 4000 boiler

This is the second boiler that Peter Brown has installed for me. The first was installed in 2004 and has given stirling service. I decided to have a new boiler because I was told during the normal annual maintenance that the old one was beginning to develop small leaks. So far they had sealed themselves (it's a hard water area) but it was a sign of potential trouble to come. The new boiler was installed over two days (Oct 30-31) with corrosion inhibitor added on Nov 3rd. The rest of the central heating system was not affected. One man did the work and he was neat, efficient and friendly. The job was done on schedule and within budget. Peter Brown has been my plumber for 25 years now. He is not cheap but his men are highly efficient and I trust him.

I had a new boiler installed by Peter Brown plumbing and I found the whole experience excellent. Peter came to look at what was required, provided me with a quote and then called me to check if I had any questions about the quote. He gave me a range of options and we discussed which ones I required and which I didn't need. When I accepted the quote we agreed the date for the work to start. The plumber, Ben, was excellent, he was very knowledgeable and made some suggestions about a couple of different items of the installation. He was clean and efficient, he tidied up after himself. He did a very neat and tidy job. He was very respectful of us in the house as he needed to go into every room to complete the job properly. He explained how everything worked. He completed all the paperwork, etc so that I received my boiler guarantee. I would recommend Peter Brown Plumbing to anyone who needs some plumbing work done.

I've been putting off renewing our downstairs cloakroom for years, due mostly to the horror stories from friends and family about their experiences with tradesmen. Finally took the plunge after reading the reviews on Which Trusted Traders and am pleased to say the whole process has been pretty much faultless. The quote from Peter was around what I expected and the professional impression he created was such that I didn't feel the need to shop around. The whole team - plumbers, plasterers, tilers and waste clearance - arrived when expected, did what they needed to do and tidied up every night. In addition they were also a nice bunch of lads. The job was completed on budget and exactly on time to a very high standard. Really pleased with the whole experience and no hesitation in recommending Peter Brown Plumbers.

This boiler replacement involved the dismantling of a wall cupboard and its re-assembly afterwards, so we were a bit nervous. However, with Peter's advice and help and Stephen's top-class work, we have a new boiler and a cupboard that looks like it hasn't been touched. The job took two and a half days. Stephen arrived on time each day, the cost and the job were as agreed, and there were no problems.
