I visited an empty house that I am selling and discovered that the central heating boiler was not working. Being the coldest day of the year this was obviously a big problem. Plus, I live 150 miles from the house. And was only in the area for 2 days. Luckily, a family member who lives locally recommended Peter to me. From the first phone call Peter was helpful, friendly and polite. He organised a visit for the next day to determine the problem. Ben, one of his team, met me at the house as planned. He discovered that the heat exchange pump had split. It was an old boiler so we decided that the only option would be a replacement. Peter phoned me that evening with a recommendation of the boiler I should go for, a quote for doing the job and said that he could fit the boiler within the week. It was such a relief to know that I could return home and leave the house in safe hands. Peter was as good as his promise. He picked up the keys for the house. Fitted the boiler on the scheduled day. And then returned the keys to the Agent. He set the boiler controls to ensure that the whole house would be heated to the correct levels. I've been today to check the work. It is excellent. And no mess anywhere. I would definitely recommend Peter and his team.

I would just like to say how amazing it was having Andy Scott and Ben working in the house today, so very polite very helpful Ben- serviced the boiler, didn't even know he was still, just got on with everything couldn't ask for more and explained somethings to me before he left Andy and Scott - doing electrics such lovely men very helpful and just generally really nice people All 3 cleaned up after there work what more could you ask for AMAZING

His team includes Jack, James, Ben and Andy (electrician) were reliable, efficient, polite and professional: arrived on time, finished installing our new Worcester Bosch Boiler which took only one day. We called Peter Higson when our boiler was condemned, in a crisis! he sent out a couple of his team really quickly to give us a quote and look at the job. We’re really glad we used Peter Higson & Co - good comms throughout, and very efficient and friendly engineers, who have done an incredibly quick job to get the new boiler installed. I contacted Peter Higson & Co Ltd regarding a radiator valve that was leaking and to conduct an annual boiler service. They quickly and accurately assessed the problem with the radiator and fitted new valves. The service was excellent, they were very polite and completed the work with care and attention. I am very happy with the new radiator valves and there is no more leaking. The radiator is over 10 years old and they were able to source valves very similar to the original ones and which suited the design of the radiator.

Installation of new boiler: removal of old boiler, fitting new piping and installing boiler. From first to last Peter and his team worked to the highest standards. The work was carried out quickly and efficiently. The team were good humoured, careful. helpful and communicative throughout the job. Little touches like automatically wearing overshoes when moving round the house exemplified the attention to customer satisfaction. The work site was kept tidy during the work and left in an excellent condition on completion. I couldn't be more pleased.

I texted at 08.15 about a problem in an en suite bathroom which meant I had to keep switching the water off and had a reply within 30 mins which gave a quote for the work and 2 scheduling options , one within 3 hours Jack and James phoned ahead and arrived at the time agreed that same day. They assessed the issue and explained what needed replacing. At my request we also discussed additional safety options that could be introduced for my peace of mind and agreed on one that would be completed at the same time The work was completed once they had sourced the parts - only took them 30 mins to purchase the parts. Jack and James were very professional and personable , they explained everything to me and left the bathroom clean and tidy I felt that the invoice was reasonable for the work that was completed in the time scale it was completed

Peter and his team completed a conversion of an understairs cupboard into a toilet, combined with a refresh of our main bathroom. Work was completed to time and on budget to a very high standard, in a constrained environment with tricky access requirements. Peter and his team were punctual and courteous throughout and every aspect was taken care of without issue. Top marks from us, and no hesitation to recommend their work.

On fitting a new boiler I cannot express just how efficient, polite and clean workers they are. The work was carried out as per the time frame stated and was kept informed on progress and aftercare service. Excellent company that I can honestly recommend.
