My wife and I got in touch with Mews Windows to ask for a quote and more importantly their advice. Our property is a 1901 Edwardian property and during the renovation process we are trying to put some of the traditional character back into the house. With their vast experience they advised the best option, to fit our requirements, would be vertical sliders to closely emulate the original box sash that would have been installed some 100 years ago. Although this would not be a straightforward process due to the previously bodged installation of UPVC windows many years ago, it did not phase Pete and Tom. Despite this extra preparation work, the removal of the old windows and the installation of the new ones was completed seamlessly. No mess, no fuss, plus the finish and quality of the windows themselves and the standard of installation were far beyond what we could have ever imagined. To say we are delighted would be a massive understatement. As another added bonus, the valuable advice they gave us to include acoustic glass and noise cancellation on the trickle vents has had such a huge difference to the noise of passing traffic as we are on a main road. This has significantly helped with our young daughters ability to get to sleep at night. Their customer service is exceptional. We didn’t once feel pressured during the quotation process… the advice and purchase options were honest and transparent. We would never go with another window fitter again!

Mews windows conducted a full house window replacement for us, including a bay window and French doors. This was done to a very high standard and finished in the timeframe agreed. They arrived on time every day and conducted the work in a friendly and professional manner. The pricing was good and they clearly identified what was being specified, providing us with a detailed plan of all the designs. Upon completion, the house was left clean and tidy.
