Peter carried out an EICR on our property in Bromley. He was communicative throughout and on the day of the job he arrived early, always a good sign for me. He was very helpful in explaining what he had to do and was very friendly while also very professional. The price of the service provided was fair - not the cheapest but also not expensive. I imagine had I chosen a 'cheap' trader then I might have had to put up with a rushed service, and perhaps someone not as attentive who may well have missed some things. Not worth the risk for me, you get what you pay for. I can highly recommend Peter.

Peter Whiting recently completed electrical work at our home on 22 October 2025, and we couldn't be more pleased with the service we received. This is the second time Peter has done work for me. Both times he has been reliable and efficient. He rings to say he is on his way. He replaced outside lights, smoke alarms, a shaver box, two broken switches and two pendants, all done quickly. All debris tidied up. Invoice came through the next mornng. Would recommend without hesitation.

Peter sourced a replacement extractor hood for our cooker and removed the defective unit, and replaced it with an alternative unit. Everything was done exactly as quoted. Peter Whiting completely rewired my garage and fitted new power sockets and LED lighting; also installed RCD protection at the main fusebox. Additionally, at the front of my house, he installed a new porch light. All the work undertaken was discussed and agreed at a preliminary visit during which my options were made clear with his very helpful advice. I received a prompt, detailed and fair quotation, and was able to agree a mutually convenient date for the work. All of the tasks were executed according to schedule, with a welcome attention to fine detail, and with a clean and tidy finish. He removed all old wiring and lighting, for disposal or recycling. Most importantly, the quality and appearance of the finished results exceeded my expectations. Peter is communicative and friendly, and engaged me when necessary as each task progressed or to confirm the next step. He was respectful of my property and I felt him to be entirely trustworthy. I am delighted with his professional service and would not hesitate to call upon him again; I can confidently recommend him.

Peter did a great job for me, providing outside reinforced cabling to link the WiFi from the house to a room at the end of our garden, all working perfectly. All was done very neatly and efficiently. Very pleased!

Recommended Peter by people on our street. Was on holiday and had a visitor staying to cat sit. Really helpful at explaining clear instructions over the phone to assist our visitor in getting the electrics back on and visited the house later on the same day to check through the electrics. Peter rescued us immediately when the building control could not accept the work done by an electrician in our new build kitchen extension. Peter went above and beyond for our electrical work in Bromley, which required re-wiring half the flat, replacing our consumer unit, along with various other fixes to get us up to code. Peter was highly professional, very skilled, and extremely polite and friendly. I contacted Peter as we needed some down lights replacing and a bathroom extractor installing. The reason we worked with Peter is that before the job he provided some useful suggestions with regard to the type replacement lights and the type of extractor to install. Peter answered my query straightaway giving me a price and time when he would be available. He arrived on time to remove an old large electric fan/extractor. He was polite and knowledgable removing the fan with ease and safely cutting off electrical supply leaving the area clean and tidy. I am happy to recommend him.

Mr Whiting is an experienced and highly qualified electrician, who has been a godsend in sorting out the dodgy electrics of our 1940s house. He has always responded quickly when minor emergencies have occurred. Thoroughly recommended.

I seldom write reviews but in this case I have to say how pleased I was to find such a reliable and competent electrician who went the extra mile! Peter fitted a new electric socket for me, in good time for the delivery of a new dishwasher. At the same time he checked and noticed that I needed a new RCD. He took the time to explain that I needed an older type which was not easily available but which he said he would try to source for me, whilst explaining the price range. He was able to obtain the new part and fitted it within a few days. His fees were reasonable and in accordance with the estimates he had given me. It is rare in my experience to find a tradesman who, in addition to being an expert in their field, also takes the time to communicate with the customer and to explain difficult things in a straightforward way. Peter took the time to telephone to explain the problem and then he solved it for me! Thank you Peter! I hope I don’t have too many electrical problems but would not hesitate to contact Peter again.
