Chris was great from start to finish. We didn't really know the best layout for our kitchen to get maximised space. He advised us so we could get our dream kitchen. There was so much choice, something for everyone. The finish is amazing, it is my favourite room in the house. Chris was professional, done the job in the expected time and can definitely say he is a perfectionist which really does so in his work. Would definitely recommend!

We had shelving and cupboards built in our living room and wardrobes in our bedroom alcoves. Chris was great to work with from the start. Following our enquiry he was very helpful and informative on advising us on style, colours, design etc. and gave us plenty of choice and scope. Communication was excellent and Chris visited us to measure up and share more advice before the work began. The work was completed in a timely manner and there was minimal mess/dust/disruption to the rest of our house as Chris ensured the area he worked in was closed off and he cleaned up very well. We are really pleased with the finished product, the quality of the furniture and craftsmanship shines through. We had lighting fitted in the shelving in our living room and this has made a great feature. Chris was able to fit this and also accommodate everything we wanted to house in the shelves (tv, record player etc.) I would highly recommend!

Chris was outstanding. He made bespoke furniture for us, and his design work was 10-none versus anything else. He listenend to what our priorties were and then went away and came back with options. There wasnt any issue with changes and he in fact encouraged such. He was tidy, professional and a real friendly guy! We employed him on a 2nd prooject for bespoke work to wardrobes and we and now employing him for a 3rd project to completed panelling for a wall with built in TV. Just phenemonal in what he can do!

We used Chris of Pickford & Dyche to create us a breakfast bar and convert a pull-out larder cupboard to a standard cupboard. Chris, as always, was polite, punctual and exceptionally tidy. He did a fantastic job and we will not hesitate to use him again for future projects.

Chris fitted some shelves for me, and delivered exactly what I asked for with minimal instruction from me about what I wanted. He finished the work to schedule and budget and was really easy to communicate with. He left the space he was working in cleaner than it was when he started, and was very helpful throughout the process.

I can't recommend Chris highly enough. His work is of the highest quality and the price is very reasonable with no hidden costs. He has fitted engineered wood floors for me and three alcove wardrobes. These were all completed on time, any delays were entirely due to my indecisiveness! Chris was very helpful and patient about helping me with design of the wardrobes, and I couldn't be happier with how they look.

We contacted Chris to assist with the design and fit out of a new home office in our spare room. He helped us come up with a design and measurements and gave us lots of options in terms of different materials and finishes to fit with our budget. He was professional from start to finish, keeping us updated on timescales in terms of the delivery of materials and when he would be able to come to do the fit out. The installation was quick and he left the room spotless. He came in and got on quietly (as can be with joinery equipment) and we trusted him throughout the process. We're really happy with the quality and the overall finish. It's exactly what we envisaged. We have already asked Chris to quote for some other home storage solutions around our home and wouldn't hesitate to re book.

A very unsightly small kitchen needed to be replaced within a tight budget but I wanted a bit of a wow factor. Chris understood the brief, worked hard to see I was happy with his proposal and quotation then undertook the job. Very tight working area in the hottest week of the summer didn’t phase him. Chris was very meticulous in the build and I was particularly impressed at how he resolved the issue of concealing the gas boiler and pipe work. I also thought the fitting of a splashback to cover old tiles an ingenious and effective solution to transform the kitchen within my budget. Job completed on time, within budget with work to a very high standard. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Chris for fantastic service and he has delivered an outcome I am delighted with.

I have just had two wardrobes and a large storage cupboard installed by Chris of Pickford and Dyche. He was excellent throughout the whole process , giving good advice whilst listening to my requirements. His quote was very reasonable too, and his work is very good,but also kept to appointment times and kept the mess and disruption in my small flat to a minimum . CMA Joinery designed, made and installed fitted wardrobes and shelving for my bedroom in February 2022. The level of skill and service from Chris and his team was excellent, from initial consultation, to the design and fitting processes, to the final result, which was even better than I had envisaged it to be. Chris is an expert but also very personable: he took time to discuss various options, made sure that everything was perfect and cleaned up each day after the work was complete. He was also very accommodating with regard to some access problems to my city-centre flat, including having to rearrange the fitting date at fairly short notice. The whole CMA team was polite and professional throughout. Custom joinery is not cheap but the price was reasonable given the time, materials and skill involved, and less expensive than other companies that I contacted (none of whom wanted to visit in person to give me a quote and relied on photos, unlike Chris who came round to look at the space and discuss my ideas before quoting).
