Our water softener was acting up. Contacted a couple of traders including one 'Trusted Trader' who did not respond after takeing all details. Other marketed new water softeners with cost up to £1500 without checking if the current kit could be repaired. I contacted Dan. He came one late evening given his busy schedule. Gave the equipment a check, advised me how to monitor if working and to get hold of a water softerenr checking kit from Amszon (cost £3.99). The softener is working fine since ! Dan did not charge ! He said he will invoice if more work is required and also advised further on what replacements to buy if required later.

This is the second time we've used Dan and are already in discussion for two more possible jobs. Dan is direct and to the point, something we appreciate greatly but explains all his opinions in a way that we can understand and makes sense. He advises not only what he thinks you should do but also what you don't need to do. His work is tidy and efficient. We had him and his colleague here for 2 days replacing an old lead mains pipe and I never saw them not working! A huge amount of effort went in and we are really pleased with the result. Everything was put back exactly how they found it. Very happy with the whole service and the price and have already recommended him to friends.
