We contacted Plumbgas as we found damp in the wall of our downstairs cloakroom. We had already called a damp specialist who checked our damp course, which was ok, but found damp reading in the walls and suggested contacting a plumber. Called and sent pictures to Plumgas who were very helpful and arranged appointment. Niall came on a Saturday at no extra cost (£80 + VAT per hour). Found the problem with a waste pipe that fed from our upstairs bathroom and had come out in our attached garage. He fixed it and all done in under one and a half hours. Good service and would definitely use them again.

Intermittent water leak from bathroom ceiling over Christmas. Prompt response and appointment with Plumbgas. Efficient, thorough investigation; problem identified and rectified on the spot. Dave and apprentice Matt from PlumbGas arrived on time. They introduced themselves were both polite, helpful and considerate. Dave explained about Matt's position and experience. Matt was learning and all his work would be checked by himself. Dave went into great detail about the the process of the services and function and safety procedures. I found it reassuring. The work was carried out to the price previously agreed. I have been using PlumbGas for many years and find all their employees very professional.

An Oil leak developed on joint into premises from oil tank supply. Fault reported late morning. Photo sent to Plumbgas. Engineer arrived onsite in the afternoon problem fixed within the hour. All done under warranty Excellent response and great service. Could not be better.

Soggy ceiling in downstairs toilet

Saturday 4.30pm noticed ceiling in down stairs toilet had a large wet patch with black mouldy ring in the centre. Phoned Plumbgas (my plumber used since it started business years ago). Following a discussion mutually agreed that as there were no water drips on the floor there was no need to instigate emergency procedures and added costs and I was booked for the first call on the following Monday @ 0830hrs. Ethen duly arrived on time and proceeded a methodical investigation in the upstairs ensuite to find the problem. He subsequently found the leak in a flexy pipe to the sink which was repaired all in less than two hours with no damage to carpets or floor tiles. Plumbgas also recommended a plaster to replace the damaged ceiling which has now been arranged

First time we have used Plumbgas for our annual boiler service. From the lady who booked our appointment to the engineer who came to service the boiler everything was first class. George was friendly and efficient and explained everything he had done . Luckily the boiler had no problems. The invoice arrived promptly with several ways to pay and the report was comprehensive. I will definitely use Plumbgas for my service next year and will also use them for any plumbing problems in the future. Would highly recommend.

Every year we use this company to service our boiler, very responsible price. Get updated by maps, when they are on there way. Not related, but when our boiler broke down last winter. The lady on the phone was very understanding as i had a chest infection and managed to fit us in for the next day for someone to come out. Can't recommend them enough !
