We have used this company since they first formed and have always received and excellent service from them. They service our central heating each year and arrive promptly at the pre arranged time. The telephone service is polite and extremely helpful. We have just called with a fault on the heating during the sub zero temperatures and an engineer arrived the same day and sorted the problem out! Can not recommend them highly enough !

Our central heating kept blowing a fuse and causing the RCD for the 13amp circuits to trip. Chris from PlumbGas attended at the agreed time, and by a careful process of elimination identified the problem as a short circuit in the oil fired boiler. This he fixed, and did so in a way that should avoid it happening again. He was very personable and explained what he was doing at every stage, which gave us confidence that he understood the potential causes. We were very pleased with the prompt response from PlumbGas and with the quality of the work carried out.

It was so hard to find a plumber so I was very happy to use Plumbgas Services and I have used them a few times now. They are well organised, turn up when they say they will and then do a really good job for a fair price. I’ve had a new expansion tank fitted, an inline water conditioner and a leak sorted. I can’t recommend Plumbgas highly enough. They recently fixed a leaking pipe for us, and the whole experience was excellent from start to finish. They responded quickly, arrived exactly when they said they would, and got straight to work diagnosing the issue. What really stood out was their professionalism and attention to detail. The repair was completed efficiently and to a very high standard, and everything was left clean and tidy afterwards — you wouldn’t even know there had been a problem. A corroded pipe behind kitchen units had caused a leak. Have used Plumbgas several times before and as every it was easy and efficient to quickly arrange to get an engineer to me. Ed turned up on time and was polite and extremely professional. Being as the broken pipe was in a very difficult place to access he managed to come up with a way of replacing existing pipe work without having to disturb any of the kitchen units. Excellent service as ever from Plumbgas - a new shower unit fitted to include new shower tray, aqua boards, easy clean glass doors and shower fittings. Timely, professional and competent service with the lovely Niall leading the charge on this occasion. Niall has splendid customer care skills and he went the extra mile to keep things on track, including heading off to Screwfix at the end of a hard day's work to get hold of the selected shower head/handset as there was just the one in stock. I hadn't originally asked for this but it was needed, hence the last minute dash to Screwfix. High quality, good old-fashioned service and competence. And lovely new shower to boot. Many thanks to the whole team who are all lovely and support Niall's approach to the work. No hesitation in recommending Plumbgas to anyone.

During a routine boiler service the engineer discovered an issue with the outlet flue; something that had occurred over a 3 year period and couldn't have been forseen during previous years' services. As PlumbGas did the original installation they visited a second time and fixed the boiler flue free of charge. This is just what you want from a well established "proper" company and I can recommend PlumbGas to anyone who wants to use them.

I was matched up PlumbGas by Heat Geek to install our Air Source Heat Pump. Heat Geek training shows through. They came to do the heat loss survey and talk me through all the work needed to upgrade our home heating. He was very helpful through the whole process, answering loads of questions, in the weeks and months leading up to the installation. The week of the install the PlumbGas team were fantastic, clean, tidy, very efficient and worked well together. It was a pleasure having them in the house! They come highly recommended!

There had been a leak on a downstairs radiator and the boiler was losing pressure due to the leakage. Plumbgas drained the system, repaired the leak and refilled the system. As always the engineer from Plumbgas very professional, polite, punctual and left the property clean and tidy. Plumbgas fitted and now services our own boiler annually, as well as those in tenanted properties. Due to their good reputation locally the business has expended over the years and Plumbgas now has a team of capable, helpful admin staff and expert engineers. They are all always polite and efficient, kind and helpful. I had a burst mains pipe in my bedroom ceiling in January and I couldn't get the stop tap turned off. Plumbgas had an engineer with me in 8 minutes! He located and repaired the leak and patiently vacuumed up the many litres of water that had poured through the ceilings upstairs and down. Notified of a slow leak in a second property one afternoon soon after, a Plumbgas engineer was there 8am the next day. For helpfulness, efficiency, value and general good manners the Plumbgas Team always earn top marks from me.

Edward did a wonderful job in clearing layers of mouldy sealant and replacing it - this stopped the shower water from cascading down the kitchen wall - a big relief. Plumbgas is a very communicative organisation and worked with me to find a good time to fit the appointment in for this work, which was done well and priced fairly.
