Our Remeha Avanta Plus 39c combi boiler was purchased and installed in June 2007 and had become noisy and was developing a number of issues. As a subscriber to Which, I looked to see what was the recommended best make of boiler and the name of a local installer; Worcester Bosch and PMC Heating and Plumbing Limited were top. I contacted Phil Collins and he came, did a survey and gave me a very good quote to remove the old boiler and install a new Worcester 32cdi compact combi boiler. He told me that it would take two days to do the job. He arrived on Thursday at 09.00 and by 16.00 he had drained down the system, disconnected and removed the old boiler and installed the new one so we had hot water. On Friday the heating was flushed through, re-filled and the system was thoroughly tested to make sure that everything was working properly. Phil's was a very tidy worker with no mess. A good job done to schedule and budget. He explained the whole process and is highly recommended by us.

Excellent service once again! Cannot recommend this proper tradesman enough. Thought we had an issue with our boiler, which wasn’t firing up properly, turned out to be something completely different, which was dealt with without any fuss, with the replacement pump, valves and parts all on the van. No teeth sucking, tutting or scratching of the head, just a very tidy, very professional, very efficient TRADESMAN, all at a very reasonable cost. Highly recommend and will be using again.

The boiler in my rented out property died and I did not want to replace it with the same brand. After using Which? to assess boiler brands and to identify Trusted Traders I contacted Phill because he had only 5* reviews from over 100 reviewers. I share their opinion! He gave me an estimate very quickly based on my description of the job and a couple of photos that the tenant sent me, and followed that up with a full quote the next day. Once I agreed the work (on a Thursday) he contacted my tenants to arrange installation on the following Monday. Work completed on Tuesday - they now have hot water and a functioning heating system. The invoice was as per the quote and I'm delighted to have a Which? recommended Boiler (WorcesterBosch).
