Switch from traditional boiler to a combi - a great move!

At first, we were very hesitant about switching from a traditional boiler to a combi, mainly because of the disruption (mess!) we thought it would cause in the house. The idea came about because we wanted to upgrade our traditional boiler to a more efficient one and have the old water tanks in the loft space removed. Daniel did a home visit to assess the work that needed to be done and spent time explaining what would be involved. His communication skills, knowledge and experience were very clear from the outset, so much so we felt assured enough in that visit to go ahead. We especially valued his sound advice about different options, good quotes and commitment to get the job completed soon and in 2 days. The work was effectively carried out by Daniel and Nathan exactly as planned. They each quietly got on with what had to be done ... and with no disruption at all! The switch to a combi boiler has made a big difference to our heating system and, important to say, the biggest bonus for us was finding the right local Supplier to do a competent job. We can highly recommend Premier Gas Care for their efficiency and excellent customer service. Many thanks!

Radiator Replacement

Premier Gas replaced our old combi boiler five years ago and have serviced it annually since. We needed to replace 6 radiators which the company did for us last week. Chris came 2 weeks ago and removed the old radiators and returned with 2 colleagues last week to fit the new ones. The week in between I decorated the walls where the old radiators had been. Everything went according to plan except for 1 radiator which was very heavy and needed some reinforcement in the wall to fix it to. The lads sorted this quickly and did a neat job. Disruption was kept to a minimum and the lads tidied up after themselves. Everything was left in full working order. No fuss, no bother. This is how things should be. Can't fault the service at all. Highly recommend Premier Gas.

Our old boiler broke down and British Gas couldn't get the part to fix it. Rang Premier Gas at 4 pm on the Friday and Daniel called on his way home from work to see what needed doing. Emailed me a very reasonable quote on the Saturday morning, which I accepted. Daniel and Anthony came out on the Monday, took our old boiler out of the attic upstairs and installed a new Worcester Bosch boiler in the cloakroom downstairs. We had heat and hot water by 4:30. All old parts were removed, and everything was cleaned up. Another engineer called a few days later after I'd already paid the invoice, to lag the pipes to complete the job. Couldn't be happier with the job.

Waste of time and money

We asked Premier Gas to service our central heating system as they they had installed the boiler two years ago in the property for the previous owner. We specifically stated that in addition to the boiler service, we wanted the radiators checking because we felt that the property was not warming up quickly enough and was told that this would be done. The engineer stated, when he came, that he would take about 20 minutes. When queried about this, he said that new boilers could be checked with equipment and would not need stripping down unless the checks indicated a problem. He also said that he would not be checking the radiators as that was not part of the boiler service. He advised us that there was a problem with the boiler, and that we should call out an Ideal engineer as the boiler had a 10 year guarantee. We did this and the engineer came out on the next working day and told us that the problem identified by the Premier Gas engineer did not exist. He also told us that a proper service of this boiler will take him 40 minutes and asked us whether the engineer had perform certain tasks, which we could not confirm. We rang Premier Gas and asked for details of what had been done, and was told that their engineer may not have been able to perform all of the tests correctly. We still need to find a reliable central heating company as our central heating system is still not working correctly.

Excellent service from start to finish from this well established local company. Premier Gas provided a competitive quote for a full new central heating system, which was fitted quickly and efficiently, with the minimum of mess and disruption. All the staff were knowledgeable, pleasant and professional. Excellent customer service throughout. Answered all queries promptly, and ensured we were totally happy with everything before invoicing. It was a pleasure dealing with this company. Highly recommended.

I received several quotes for a new boiler, I decided to go with Premier Gas because I immediately recognised that the approach to customer service was superior to the other suppliers that had visited the house. That service level continued and today Andrew and Ryan fitted the new boiler, leaving everything tidy. Premier gas sent Chris to fit a new Worcester Bosch 30i boiler, and he did a fantastic job for us. A lovely, courteous, respectful, and professional chap, who did a thorough, clean job. Installation of System Boiler

I had my old boiler and loft tank removed and a new Worcester Bosch 30CDi Classic system boiler fitted. Three rusty radiators were replaced with new ones and all the radiators were flushed and then chemically treated. The price was very reasonable, everything went ahead as agreed and the work was completed to a high standard. On completion I was given a gas certificate, 10 year parts and labour guarantees for the boiler and the magnetic filter and the instillation was registered with Gas safe and Worcester Bosch. The three young men who came to do the installation did an excellent job. They were efficient, polite and professional, covered everything with dust sheets, cleaned up well when they had finished and took all the debris away.

Site visit and subsequent installation carried out to our expectations. Couldn't believe the house was left so clean and tidy. The fitters made sure we were happy with the siting of the combi boiler and even made sure the new kitten didn't escape the house!
