Our British Gas Homecare agreement cost £400pa but we were told 3 times to call back at the end of Feb as we were not an emergency having sent for 2 convector heaters online and able to use the immersion heater for hot water. The central heating gave out a few days later so we called Darren who came out the next day, changed the pump and got the central heating/hot water working again but said he thought it was temporary measure and we needed a power-flush. He came back a few days later at, 8.30am flushed the system, the boiler and balanced the radiators leaving at 8.00pm with the system and hot water piping hot. We could not switch off/turn it down at night so he came back the next day and opened the valves that had got stuck. The estimates provided were what we paid.

I called Darren of Priority Plumbers who came out promptly to assess why the downstairs radiators were not heating sufficiently. He clearly explained how a Powerflush could help to resolve this and provided a detailed quotation. He arrived at the agreed date and time and carried out a very professional job - following the Powerflush the radiators have never been so hot! In addition water was coming out of an overflow pipe and again Darren was able to sort this out in a timely manner. Darren is impeccable in wearing a mask and maintaining social distance. He takes pride in his work and I thoroughly recommend him.

Managed to fit me in quickly and did a very professional job to fix a leak in my underfloor heating system. Practical approach. Explained what was going on. Very Covid compliant with mask and gloves and distancing. Good communications and was able to juggle the timings when I had to move the first slot we agreed. I will use Darren again for other work.

Darren was responsive when contacted and arrived promptly to assess why the radiators were not heating. He gave us a range of options to sort out the problem and carried out a power flush that has worked. Darren was prompt, worked very effectively, and tidily and was very mindful of how he worked and cleared everything afterwards. It was a relief to find such an honest trader.

Darren of Priority Plumbers came out and increased the pressure on my boiler. Don't Laugh! I had the Worcester Bosch Greenstar boiler installed by Priority Plumbers in 2016 and although it is regularly serviced, I have never had to top up the pressure. Darren was very professional and addressed the problem efficiently, including showing me how to increase the pressure, should this problem occur again. As always, Darren was courteous, very knowledgeable - offering advice on cause of low pressure and respectable of his surroundings. I have no hesitation in recommending Priority Plumbers. I feel we all need to have the name of a good reliable and trustworthy plumber!

We were impressed by Darren's prompt response from answering the phone,to arriving within half an hour quoting a price upfront.He managed to diagnose and repair a leaking cold water pipe which was causing damage to a ceiling,which if left for much longer could have wrecked havoc.The repair was in an awkward position but Darren persisted until the new pipe was satisfactorily in place,communicating with us his plan of action and was frank and fair about the likely cost.

Several downstairs radiators did not get hot despite bleeding them and showed signs of being partly filled with sludge. I called Darren and he confirmed the system needed flushing and provided a detailed quote. He arrived early in the morning and put down protective sheets on the stairs and other work areas before commencing work. I requested a new pump be fitted with new thermostatic radiator valves. Darren worked methodically and showed me all the black sludge extracted from the header tank and the Magnaclean machine. All the work was done to a high standard and Darren stayed late to balance the radiators. Despite the extra time taken the cost was as in the original quote. Highly recommended.

Darren replaced the leaking water valve in our toilet. This might sound very simple, but our toilet is built in and therefore fraught with challenges. Explaining the situation, Darren gave me a price and a time frame he could attend our property. Darren arrived within the time frame he had given us and, although the repair was complex and very time consuming, Darren stuck to his initial quote. We thoroughly recommend this listing.

Darren installed our Worcester boiler in 2017. Since then, it has worked well and Darren last serviced it in December 2018. I contacted Darren yesterday to arrange the 2019 survey and he offered to do it today. He came at the time we agreed and was his usual thorough, professional self - getting on with the job without interruptions, working tidily, taking care not to bring dirt inside the house and completing the necessary paperwork afterwards. I would be happy to recommend Darren to others looking for a suitably qualified person to install or service a gas boiler.

Darren quoted a fair price for replacing a gas boiler. He listened to what I wanted but wasn’t afraid to offer advice and give clear options. Darren was clear about what was involved and what to expect. He was careful and for instance put a covering over the carpets he had to walk on. The work was done within the timescales he gave. I was given all the promised paperwork. He cleaned up, removed all debris. I was happy to have him in my house. All in all I feel I have had a good service from an established local business and will happily call on Darren for boiler servicing or related work.
