This is the second time I have used Pro-tech for roofing work. The first was to replace storm damaged facia boards, and this time was to replace a defective chimney cowl. Both times I have been impressed with the workmanship and the price. I was also relieved that they would take on this relativity small job, when other roofers don't seem to be interested. I also requested the whole of the roof to be inspected, as you just don't know what it's like up there! There was only one relatively small defect found that needed immediate attention, which I was shown photos of. This was sorted out, there and then for a good price. There were a few other non essential points raised from the inspection but glad to say there was no high pressure sales patter to get these fixed. This gave me additional confidence that Pro-tec were trustworthy and good to do business with. I would definitely look to Pro-tec for any further work needed.

David from Pro-tec arrived at the agreed time and got on with the job, which wasn't particularly straightforward, as it involved sorting out a leak on my garage roof where it adjoins my neighbours house, which involved different types of roofing materials. He kept me informed as work progressed. The work was done in a timely manner. He pointed out some additional work that in his opinion was needed, to which I agreed. He cleared up afterwards and left the site clean & tidy. I was also very pleased that he agreed to undertake the work at very short notice, which helped me with my personal plans for this week. All in all an excellent experience and I would not hesitate to use him again.

Pro-tec have recently finished replacing the felt on our roof. Also replaced all the guttering and facias. We would highly recommend Protec for so many reasons! 1. Fantastic quality job. 2. David Harrison of Pro-Tec was excellent in every regard. He came and quoted very quickly, and carried out the work extremely proficiently. We used this company last year to remove some chimney stacks and were really happy with their work so have used them again this year to renew our flat roofs. David was fast to respond, provided good advice and a competitive quote and fitted us in quickly. The team arrived on schedule and delivered the work within the agreed time frame and on budget. They are friendly and efficient and we would highly recommend.

Having discovered daylight showing through our roof as a result of concrete falling into our loft from the ridge tiles, we contacted Pro-Tec and two other Which? recommended traders. One no longer repaired roofs, one did not respond which left Pro-Tec. They replied promptly, outlined how we might best proceed, pointing out that further falls of concrete might take place in the future and recommending that we consider the Dry Ridge System. Able to see it already installed on our next door neighbour's home we readily agreed on Monday of this week. They started work the following day, continued through Wednesday despite a steady drizzle for much of the day and finished the work on Thursday. A couple of outstanding minor matters led to their returning yesterday (Saturday) and remedying quickly. The result is excellent. They tidied up afterwards and removed all debris, albeit they did not appear to possess a broom! We have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone with a problem roof.

After my initial enquiry, I quickly received a visit to discuss the work and the quote was very competitive. I was kept informed throughout the process and the workmen were happy to answer any queries I had. The young men were polite and personable and completed the work effectively and tidily. I will certainly recommend this company to friends/ family if they need help in the future.

Had issues with our guttering. Got an onsite quote very quickly, was very reasonable and was able to do the job within the timeframe we had to work with. On time on the day, completed all the work exactly as requested, was able to make small adaptations I asked for on the day with no hassle or fuss, stuck to the quote exactly. Customer service was excellent, quality of work was excellent and overall very pleased.
