Progress Windows Roofline and Conservatories Limited

The tenant had not informed me of an issue with the conservatory which I became aware of when they left. Living 90 miles away from the property I used Which Trusted Traders to find a company I could rely upon to help me resolve my issue and found Progress Windows. From the outset Keith who I spoke to could not have been more accommodating, we arranged a date and time for a site visit and he arrived at the specified time, looked at the problem and said leave it with him and he would come back to me. The same day he was back in touch and we agreed that as I was looking to sell the property the most cost effective result would be to dismantle rather than reroof. Keith then organised the dismantling and removal of the conservatory, organised the electrician to remove sockets/ lights/air conditioning unit, organised plasterer to make good pointing etc all of which was carried out on agreed dates and without me being present. I meet Keith after the works had been completed and an excellent job had been done with the site left neat and tidy. The project was a removal rather than supply of new but the service I was given was exemplary and I can not speak highly enough how impressed I have been with my dealings with Progress Windows

We had Progress Windows fit our extension bi-folds and window because from the time we contacted them, they have kept in contact, the site visits to measure were thorough and professional, then when they came to install the doors ,we had two nice guys who we had a laugh with, who also did a fantastic job, cleaned up after themselves and removed all waste from site. The doors and windows are quality products, and most of all the prices were very competitive , a lot better than some other suppliers, and if I get my planning approval for additional windows, they'll be coming back to fit them. Certainly would recommend them .

We are very pleased with our new door installation. Right from the outset, beginning with a home visit from Ian Skelcher giving sound advice and help with relevant information, followed by a full survey and measurements. At every stage, we were fully informed as to when and the next step would be, e.g. the installation date, etc. The door fitter (also Ian) called on time, carried out the job very neatly, with precision and professionally. He was also very helpful in allowing a friend to relocate the Ring Bell concealing the wiring in the framework. We loved that fact that they are a family run business locally. We were visited by a technician shortly afterwards to take measurements - he was professional and efficient. Then our door was fitted 6 weeks later. The installer was extremely professional and polite, they installed our door carefully to ensure limited damage/touch ups needed around the door. There were many designs, colours and specs to choose from. Our door was installed exactly as per our requirements. Service was great from salesman to the fitter, we are really pleased with the work and would recommend Progress to anyone they were also the cheapest quote we had. Jon the fitter was great, kept us informed how he was progressing, he was neat & tidy, cleaned up everyday and left the site safe I can honestly say he did an excellent job.

I recently enagaged Progress Windows to do two jobs for me: the installation of some new French Windows and also a glass canopy to cover part of my patio. I was very happy with the outcome of both jobs. The quality of the materials and workmanship was excellent and the service was first class. There were a couple of slight delays with materials but they kept me fully informed at all times. I am happy to recommend this company.

We have just had all of the windows and cladding replaced by Progress Windows Hinckley. A brilliant service from Derek who did the initial quote, the sales team who kept us well informed. We would like also to praise Troy and Ethan who carried out the work on our property, they were extremely polite, courteous and respectful when coming into the house as we have three very young kittens. Their professionalism, workmanship and attention to detail was second to non the whole process ran very smoothly, we are extremely pleased with the final outcome. Thank you all at Progress. I identified 3 of the leading replacement roof system suppliers (Equinox, Ultraframe & Guardian) and their local (to me) approved fitting companies. After getting 3 quotes, checking out installers customer ratings, we decided to place our order with Progress, in part due to them being a Which Trusted Trader. Right from the start everyone at Progress was supportive. The quote only took 2 days, we placed the order the next week and we paid a deposit. Measurements were taken a week later and the roof ordered from Guardian - I was advised about 12 weeks and it was ready end of Wk20 to plan. The roof fitters were on site at 8.00am on Monday next week as advised, had the old roof off and new one on and watertight same day. Their work was completed next day. That Thursday the wiring for ceiling spotlights was installed. We then had a couple of weeks waiting as the plasterer already had holidays booked and there was the bank holiday but he worked Mon/Tue/Wed/Thur to finish the ceiling. After allowing a few days for the plaster to dry and me to paint, the ceiling spotlights were fitted. Job Finished All the workmen were polite, friendly, hard working and conscientious. The workplace was swept and left tidy every day. Two days after making the final payment I received the 10 year Certificate of Guarantee. And YES, these roofs are a lot cooler in summer and we are now able to use the Conservatory much more.

We were recommended Progress Windows by a work friend. Keith came round and we discussed what we wanted, a conservatory. After several visits and design changes, we finalised the design and paid our deposit. We had a small setback when the build started with the ground and had to have piling to build on. This was all explained to us and was the right decision, Progress were brilliant at resolving this for us. Any issues or questions we had along the way were dealt with and resolved. We had drains moved out of the build area, and a wall knocked through as part of the project. We are now finished and have the most amazing conservatory. Every single person involved in this project from Progress Windows was brilliant. Including any subcontractors, all professional, friendly, and did a fantastic job. We are very happy and would definitely recommend Progress Windows.

We chose Progress to fit dry verge units on our bungalow. They provided a sample unit so we were able to check its suitability and quality prior to installation. The ‘fitter’ arrived on time and was very friendly and straight away put ladders up the gable end of the property and started hammering on the units in short order. He then told us he’d run out of units, couldn’t get any more that day and left. We inspected his work and saw instead of using left and right units which have a straight bottom edge and stepped top edge, he’d used universal units, stepped on both edges and not so aesthetically pleasing. They weren’t the same make as the sample either and looked cheaper and not what we were paying for. Worst of of all, the units did not step down with the roof tiles thereby preserving the roof line and looked hammered on any old how. And the fitter for some reason had used some white foam substance every now and again which oozed out of the gaps at the back. White foam with brown units. I contacted Progress the next day but the Secretary told me the lad who I’d been dealing with had taken a day’s ‘Annual Leave’. In mitigation they did allocate the usual fitter to the job who removed the unacceptable installation (their staff member’s words) and completed the job using the agreed product. My wife and I still felt badly let down and it caused unnecessary stress and inconvenience. We lost trust and confidence in this company and therefore cannot recommend them.

I decided to replace all my windows and doors, install new sliding doors in the lounge and a large viewing window in the upstairs snug both of which would involve some structural building work. I got a few quotes and price-wise, Progress Windows were somewhere in the middle, however it was Lee their Salesman who impressed me and sealed the deal. He was not pushy and he came across as honest and trustworthy. Lee dealt with all my queries quickly and calmly. Furthermore, Progress Windows came as recommended by two local families that I knew, who had work done by them. Martin came over and did a thorough site survey - he was professional, accurate and didn't miss a thing. Martin organised all the building work, I didn't have to lift a finger or worry about a thing and I was impressed by how smoothly everything went - very professional. Installation happened on the days it was scheduled to, Phil' and his team turned up on time, nothing was too much trouble and everything was stress-free - it was an extremely efficient and slick operation. There were a few very minor snags as one would expect with such a big job but everything was resolved, dealt with immediately and without fuss. I am extremely impressed and have already recommended them on I will use them again and soon to replace the Garden Room roof.

Progress Windows replaced the soffits and guttering, their price was very competitive. The work was completed on time to an excellent standard and I would strongly recommend them, they certainly deserve the recognition as a Which? trusted trader

We had a few quotes for double glazed windows and doors, and Progress Windows were the most competitive, and offered the best guarantees on the glass. The salesman was also very helpful and not at all pushy. We decided to go with them and they have done a great job. The fitters were very tidy and there was no damage to paintwork on the surrounding walls at all, either inside or out. We thought we would need to touch up at least, but they were very careful. The windows look really smart and the after sales care has also been really good, with Progress happy to send someone to adjust the windows and doors when it got hot. Would definitely be happy to recommend them.

Very impressed with the quality and workmanship of our new door and windows. We have used Progress Windows before for a Bi-fold door and will use them again in the future. Smooth, hassle free and the end result looks good. High standard quality all round!

Our Windows in the conservatory had misted up. Progress Windows inspected and installed the replacement glass on dates that were convenient to us and at the right price. The installers also adjusted our French doors that were sticking whilst they were here at no extra charge. We would recommend them to anyone.
