Barry and his team fitted a new en-suite and made repairs to our cloakroom which had previously had a leak. Barry is a very busy man and has a waiting list of clients but he is definitely worth the wait and we would call him again without hesitation. All the work was completed as agreed on time and on budget. Despite working in the two smallest rooms in the house in the hottest week in the year none of the team complained. Barry always told us who would be at the property and what jobs were being done each day. He has assembled a great team and each person was a real pleasure to work with. Every single member of the team worked hard to get the best results and it’s no surprise that we are delighted with the result. I just wanted to add a special mention for George the tiler who made a fantastic job of the en-suite but also transformed our ugly cloakroom backsplash thanks to his creativity and skill, it has made such a difference to the room. Also for Dave the plasterer who gets the best finish we have seen, it’s almost a shame it gets covered up. The whole team are solution focused and nothing is too much trouble. They just want to do a great job and get best result for the customer. We are really pleased with their work and would highly recommend them.

All work completed to the highest standard. Every member of the team was professional, respectful and left everything clean at the end of the day. Personally, to have people in the house that you feel comfortable with is a necessity. A problem with an order (that was our fault) was resolved without any hesitation and we were very grateful for that.

PDP are all you need, look no further. Barry & his team did an outstanding job transforming our bathroom; it was exactly what we were after. It was also delivered on schedule and in budget. The first Contact with Barry was at the quotation stage for a new fitted kitchen. He listened to our requirements, gave helpful suggestions, explained the time scale for the work, and how he and his team would carry out the work. There was no sales pressure applied. The quotation was provided promptly, any alterations to the plans were discussed, and Barry always asked if we're happy with the plans and had any further questions. A date was agreed to start the work, and a time table provided. as it got close to the date Barry reconfirmed the schedule. Work commenced at the agreed time and date, Barry and the team worked hard, including improvements to the plumbing, gas and electrics and a bespoke cupboard for the heating system. in addition to the kitchen, we asked for new flooring to the entrance hall, which was fitted without any problem. We would thoroughly recommend Property Developments Plus Limited, in fact, we have asked Barry to give us a quote for some more work.

Barry at Property Development Plus is the most trustworthy reliable tradesman I have ever met. He has completed the renovation of a shower room and family bathroom within time and budget and the work is absolutely of the highest standard. He collaborates with other tradesmen to bring the project together (exceptional tiling from George) so you always know what’s planned along the way and there are no issues with any unexpected costs. I love my new bathrooms and would recommend Property Development Plus very highly.

We were drawn to this company based upon previous reviews and we were not disappointed. Barry provides an excellent and trustworthy service. Barry and his team replaced my elderly mother’s entire bathroom, installing a walk in quadrant shower with grab rails and wall hung seat, beautifully plastered and tiled ready for decorating. He was very helpful from the first point of contact, throughout, until the work was completed and went beyond expectations. Everyone in the team was prompt, courteous and clean and tidy. Work was completed on time and to budget. We would definitely recommend him and his team.

After reading the many favourable reviews on this site I asked to Barry to quote for a complete refurbishment of a bungalow I had recently purchased. I’m pleased I did and very pleased with the outcome of this major project which included a new kitchen, bathroom, complete re-wire, new central heating, re-plastered throughout and new doors and flooring. Each piece of work was detailed in a written quotation with a price that was kept too with no hidden extras or surprises. Although hands-on himself, Barry coordinated highly skilled tradesman for specialist trades such as electricians, heating-engineers, plasters and tilers where needed. I was able to hand over the keys to the property with complete confidence. I would like to thank Barry and his team for their high standard of work and would certainly recommend Property Development Plus.

We cannot rate the team highly enough. We had a separate toilet and bathroom which we wanted made into one room. It needed to be completely gutted and a wall removed. From the initial site visit nothing was too much trouble even when we changed our mind about the layout. We have a young child and being without a bathroom for 2 weeks was daunting but they made everything completely stress free. Every member of the team was tidy, courteous and highly skilled and the job run exactly to schedule. We need to have our kitchen refurbed next and we will definitely be calling PDP.

Work consisted of gutting of old bathroom & en-suite and complete installation and fit out. Barry and the team are first rate - punctual, clean & tidy, highly skilled and very professional. We were blown away with the transformation. Highly recommended and will definitely use them again.

Barry offered advice and guidance at key points that helped us make some critical decisions on the design of the new kitchen. I cannot rate Barry and his team highly enough. From the first consultation, Barry was friendly, responsive, and, knowledgeable so I was happy to wait to be booked in. I can fully understand why they are so busy! From the dismantling of my old kitchen, preparing the electrics, plastering, and installing the new kitchen everything was carried out with care and professionalism. I was absolutely thrilled when Barry suggested moving a radiator, which I thought would have been too big a job to do, so I hadn't previously mentioned it. It allowed me to have the banquette seating I wanted, not only that Barry built the seating for me so I didn't have to wait months for it to be done. The whole team was so accommodating, friendly, and most importantly trustworthy. I had a busy week running in and out and had no problem leaving Barry and the team alone. The job was completed on budget and schedule. I would highly recommend PDP, in fact, my sister has just had her kitchen completed by Barry and his team, straight after mine, and is also thrilled with the finished result. If I have any work carried out in the future Barry will be the first person I contact.

Barry and his team have installed my perfect bathroom. From initial visit to completion of works I have experienced friendly, skilled service and been offered excellent advice, as needed, throughout the project. The quality of work has been exceptional. PDP are a busy outfit but well worth the wait for an installation slot. There is a reason why they are so busy!

Barry’s company Property Development Services, have just completed some extensive work for us to retile both our large kitchen floor and our hall, which used a Victorian tile pattern. The work is exceptional. Barry and Tyler did the preparations which were faultless and George the tiler was terrific, nothing was too much trouble and the end product is stunning, even better than the plushest magazine. George is a very gifted tiler and a smashing guy to boot. Everything was thoroughly explained and planned in advance. Barry was everything you would hope for in a builder, honest, reliable, thorough and utterly professional throughout. Thank you Barry, we know who to approach when we have future projects, really appreciate the work you have done for us. Truly great job!

Barry and his team fully refurbished our bathroom and we have nothing but praise for him and all his team. They pulled out the old bathroom suite and old tiles and stripped everything back and started the refurb from scratch. We are absolutely delighted with the finished result. From start to finish they were ultra professional and completed all works to agreed timelines and to a first rate standard. The quality of all the workmanship was excellent and from initial consultation to completion they have been outstanding. Barry is very easy to talk to and always available to offer advice and reassurance. Would highly recommend Barry and his team 100% and will be having him back in a few weeks for refit of en-suite.

We had our bathroom done by Barry and his team. They did a fantastic job and renewed/fixed things in the bathroom I hadn’t asked them to do, but they took the time and really went the extra mile. The most professional tradespeople we’ve ever had working in our home. Will definitely be using Barry and his team again!

It is my pleasure to submit this review for Property Development Plus Ltd based in Upminster. I first noticed their vans when they were working on my neighbours property. My neighbour was extremely proud to show the work PDP had done including an amazing extension and kitchen installation. Then my other neighbour had Barry complete their bathroom and is getting him back to do their kitchen. She also raved about how great Barry is and I had it in my mind to ask PDP to look at works in my house. I then suffered a sudden escape of water at another house I own whereby all the ceilings fell through and damaged the lighting. I literally did not know what to do as my insurance company just told me to get quotes. Then I remembered the PDP vans and Barry came to the rescue. As a complete gentleman, he gave me a really fair quote, not loaded in any way just because “its insurance” and explained what work was needed in each room and took all the stress away from me. PDP is also a WHICH trusted trader and was trader of the month for December 2020. As I knew the quote was fair and below what others had quoted, I commissioned the work before the insurance pay out as I trusted his price. The standard of his work and his colleagues ( plasterers/ electricians/plumbers) is absolutely outstanding. My ceilings are beautifully finished - I am so delighted. I will definitely be getting Barry to undertake a substantial amount of work at my house including a new bathroom and garage conversion.

This is my first review after being a Which? Member for 26 years. I felt compelled to write this as I am so impressed with this Company. We needed a new suite, tiles, fans, mirrors and spotlights in our downstairs toilet and en suite. I had dragged my feet over the years as I have never been very impressed with the workmanship in any bathrooms I had seen until I saw the bathrooms and kitchen of 2 of our neighbours. On both their recommendations we got a quote and then booked Barry and his team from PDP. Barry was extremely helpful in advising us on basic and technical things (water pumps etc), coming up with suggestions, after the quote, which gave him more work but no extra charge for me. Things we hadn't mentioned (2 led mirrors needed hard wiring, a door turned round) were never a problem for Barry. "I'll do that for you" was always his reply. No extra cost on the final bill either. In fact on budget. His son Tyler does the plumbing. Dave and Grant the plastering. George the tiling. All are extremely friendly, punctual, courteous, tidy and most importantly top of their game. I know George could have tiled with much fewer cuts but he has made it perfect taking more time and effort. I could go on about their workmanship, but you get my point. We really couldn't be happier with the work carried out already. Barry is currently doing our bathroom and at some point we want to resurrect a side extension plan we had shelved. There's only one person who we'll be calling.

I was recommended to this company by a friend, who was very pleased with the work they had done for her. They came to look at the old toilet i wanted renewing, sent me a quote, and when I replied that I was happy with the quote they went ahead and ordered the item. They then rang me later to say they would arrive the following morning, if convenient, which they did on time. They protected all carpets and carried out the work in a quiet and professional manner. The work was of a very high standard and nothing was too much trouble. They left the site very clean and tidy. I would certainly use this company again and thoroughly recommend them to anyone.

We couldn’t recommend PDP enough! We’ve never had work done on our house before so were out of our comfort zone and had to put complete trust in Barry and son! Barry made the experience pain-free and the work was done to such a high standard, we’ve had our neighbours, friends and families all saying they will use PDP when they are next renovating. Barry was honest, reliable, committed and flexible, considering both my partner and I were working from home whilst the work was being carried out - they were no trouble at all and kept us in the loop at all times. He made a big messy project so much more manageable and clean! Even when hurdles came up along the way, he found solutions and kept a cool professional head even when there was some nasty surprises! Property Development Plus have refurbished our kitchen, main bathroom and en-suite. We are thrilled with the results. From initial consultation to completion they have been outstanding. All works were completed to an exceptional standard throughout. Nothing was too much trouble. The whole team were clean and tidy workers. The project came in exactly on budget. We would use them again in a heartbeat and highly recommend.

It was a pleasure to work with Barry and his team, and I would definitely work with him again in the future. I had quite a few things done: ceilings rendered, plastered and painted in the kitchen, front room, bedroom and bathroom, spotlights installed in all of those rooms, the loft re-insulated and boarded, a new loft hatch and ladder installed, lights installed in the loft, installation of new glass shower door, installation of a new bathroom cabinet, mastic the bath, installing a dishwasher and wine rack, moving my washing machine to the pantry cupboard, reconfiguring the pantry cupboard so it fits... I'm sure there's more that I've forgotten. I always felt that my home was in good hands, and I couldn't be more pleased with how it's all turned out. The whole team was very friendly, worked quickly, and always cleaned after themselves. The work was completed in a timely and efficient manner and Barry kept me up to date in what works would be taking place when. Barry and his team completed this job to a high standard and we are really pleased with the result. Although the job was small Barry talked us through the options and even supplied fixtures that we didn’t order as part of the job. He arrived early for the job and started immediately which is something that we have become used to using PDP. They are efficient, friendly and offer a great service and I would hesitate to recommend them and use them again.

PDP refitted our family bathroom. They carried out the work exactly on the date, and within the time planned. It was also to the agreed quotation. They kept disruption and mess to a minimum. Throughout the process they were helpful and available to give advice. I would definitely recommend them.
