PSC Electrical

PSC electrical responded to our call to diagnose the problem with non-working solar pv panel installation and then fix it. They did a professional replacement of the inverter and switch and then went and above and beyond to repair the solar panel connection. Contact with the office by phone and email was always professional and polite and prompt.

I contacted PCS in the hope that they could complete an EICR at rather short notice as I had just moved to a new flat and wanted to have the assessment and any necessary works completed before making any other changes in the flat (fitted furniture etc.). They were able to oblige and found a time within a couple of days from my enquiry. I was thereafter very happy with the service I received. Not only did they arrive at the agreed time and complete the assessment efficiently, but the advice I received was very useful and they have been very quick to respond to my correspondence via email. I'm glad to have found such a professional service and I wouldn't think twice about contacting them should I require their services in the future.

Full rewire of 1st floor flat. Philip was professional, friendly, and clearly very knowledgeable. He consulted me at every appropriate stage, often made excellent suggestions but also listened to what I wanted. The work was neat, to a high standard, and very fairly priced for the extensive work involved. His colleagues were of the same quality. I waited to leave a review, wanting to test out everything in the place over a period of time, and I am very satisfied with the results. I would recommend PSC Electrical to anyone considering any electrical work.

I contacted PSC on New Years day after the sockets in my kitchen stopped working, and they were able to come round the next day. They also contacted me via email, which I said was preferred! I was really impressed with the engineer who came round with his apprentice. He worked out what was wrong with my old fuse box very quickly, used existing parts he had in the van to fix the issue and also identified and fixed some other issues (where we'd used the fuses that were too high or low for the circuits) while he was there. He gave me a long-term recommendation for what I should do next, but was clear I did not have to take this recommendation if I didn't want to. I thought he explained the consequences of the recommendation/not following it very clearly, and I never felt pressured. Because the apprentice was there and learning, I also felt like I had even more trust in what he was saying because he wanted to teach the person with him the right thing to do. Communication was good throughout with both the engineer and the head office. I was also pleased I could pay by card rather than cash. Overall, I would recommend this trader highly and would be pleased to use them again.

This is the second time I've used PSC Electrical. They're a knowledgeable, friendly, punctual team and I'd recommend them to everyone. Philip is brilliant to deal with - quick to reply, polite and super helpful. If I ever need an electrical job doing, they're my go-to service.

On Sunday, I found that suddenly half of the lights and sockets at the house are not working. I tried to fiddle with the fuse box but didn't have luck. I called PSC electrical. Soon after one of the electrician (Phil) contacted me, listened to the problem and took me through to find the reason for fault. With his help, I could find the faulty device and socket and the power was restored at all other places. I had to call him three times. He was very patient, calm and professional and did not charge anything for phone advice. I would highly recommend PSC electricals.
