Roy was a pleasure to have around, well maybe not the 07:30 start time, but he hit the ground running every morning and got through an amazing amount of work in the eight days he was with us. He adapted and fitted numerous IKEA cupboards into awkward spaces, revamped a shabby door, fixed weatherboards and draughty gap above a bookcase, as well as make bespoke pannelling for a toilet, as well as other smaller jobs along the way. There was nothing we threw at him that he couldn't do and he was cheerful and 'can-do' throughout, it's clear he loves his work and is sound.

The standard of Roy (RAH Carpentry) work is very high. He is meticulous, reliable & really cares about the quality of his work, enjoys the challenges (in our case in an old house-walls & floors not flat), keeping it tidy & working within the time frame allotted, 3rd time he has worked with us.

Roy fitted our kitchen, laid flooring and hung doors for us, we couldn't be happier with the results that Roy has provided . Roy turns up when he says he will, he informs you of any problems but also finds a solution, he keeps you updated with his progress throughout. Roys carpentry skills are exceptional and we have had many compliments from our visitors including other tradesmen. Roy himself is very friendly and polite and he takes pride in his work. We would definitely use him again and highly recommend him to others.

I have a kitchen that is 17 years old now but I did not want to replace the whole thing. Roy came in and made new doors for all my cupboards and draws and had some very creative ideas about my 'island'. Quite apart from being a very nice person to have about the house, he worked in an organised and precise way giving detailed attention to every aspect of his work. He cleaned up and was conscious of any mess being made and was keen to minimise any inconvenience. He is returning to build bookcases and I have every confidence that they will be to the highest standard. This cliche really does apply to Roy Hogg - I would thoroughly recommend him!

We have undertaken a major renovation and refurbishment of a house in north Oxford and have used Roy for all our bespoke carpentry and cabinetry needs. He has proved to be a fantastic "find" not only in terms of the quality of his work but also in his friendliness and great team ethic. Roy has come up with the ideal solution whenever a challenge has arisen and we could not be more pleased with the end results. We will most certainly be using his services in the future and could not recommend him highly enough.

I don't typically write reviews, although I do tend to use them, therefore having found a gem like Roy, I wanted to share my experience. Roy is very efficient, responds quickly and turns up when he says he will. He gives through thought to the job and comes up with his own ideas for your consideration alongside your own. Roy is meticulous and has a real pride in his work. I would have no hesitation in recommending and will use Roy again, should the need arise.
