This removal company were asked to pack up all the contents of the large converted barn in North Essex, store them for several months and then deliver them to my new home in London. The staff were very efficient, helpful and pleasant to deal with the whole way through. They turned up on time even through the heavy London traffic. I very much recommend them to others.

We were impressed by the expertise & experience of Glen. The guys who turned up to empty our house were friendly, courteous & very helpful. They dealt with our rude buyer, who turned way before they should, with professionalism & politeness. Would recommend their service to anyone.

With an unusual move of 2 people moving from a 4 bed house moving to 2 separate apartments over 2 days the whole team at Schofields were up to the challenge Aaron and Luke the guys who moved me on day 1 were at my old address spot on time and took everything in their stride, loaded the truck flawlessly, and met me at my new apartment on the first floor with no lift, they just cracked on and had moved everything in again flawlessly, with a brilliant sense of humour and dedication, this was the second time I have used Schofields to move addresses and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone, complete job well done, thank you.

Schofields were absolutely amazing. We suffered so many consistent changes throughout our moving process, and Glen, Imogen and Matthew were all so helpful and understanding from start to finish. As for the physical moving day, the lads (Aaron, Harry, Chris, Gem and Andy) we had for our move were so kind and efficient with taking our stuff from our old house. We all had a setback when we didn’t get the keys for our new house until 4pm, so we felt bad for the guys as it was so late in the day, but the guys were so good about it. What was also nice was that some of their other colleagues came to lend a hand at the end of the day as well, so they were able to get all of our stuff into our new house within 1.5hrs! With all of the chaos of that many people moving our stuff throughout our new house, we were so pleased that not a single item was broken or damaged. Hats off to the whole team and we would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for removals, relocations or storage solutions. We also felt that for the stresses of this whole saga, to have Schofields helping out was totally worth it and definitely worth the money! A+ company!

Schofield Removals were absolutely amazing! We had the complete service, including packing and the guys were fab! Very professional, polite and helpful. I cannot recommend them enough! They have even popped by a few times to take away the empty boxes and packaging. Fab Service!

Schofield’s moved me into store from Dedham at the end of April 2025 and out of store June 2026. From the initial consultation with Glen to the unloading of the final box, I have been thoroughly impressed and extremely happy with the service provided. I opted to pay for them to pack for me and this service was excellent value for money. Once unpacking was complete I had just one broken glass - amazing considering I had 5 crates! The element of their service particularly important to me was how they handled the removal, storage and delivery of my very expensive, very heavy Everhot oven. They made sure enough men were there to transport it and were very careful. All of the gentlemen who took part in both the removal and delivery were very polite, considerate, respectful and friendly. I was also extremely happy with any communication I had to make with Imogene in the office - again always polite, efficient and attentive. I will definitely use Schofields next time I move and would not hesitate to recommend them - excellent service all round.

Excellent service, both removal men were prompt, polite and certainly new what they were doing. The cost was very reasonable and I would recommend them to anyone moving house.

The company were really flexible when we were not able to firm up the actual removal day until the last minute and did all they could to help. Those doing the actual move (Fletcher, Jay and Tony at the far end and two others as well for the packing up) were competent, patient and polite and did all they could to make the job go smoothly.

From start to finish scofields couldn't be more helpful, Glen came around to do the initial inspection of what we needed. As soon as he started going through what would happen on our move, he's year's of experience showed, he made everything possible, so easy, and I had four different quotes, but Glen was the one that stood out. The guys doing our removals was very careful and respectful of our belongings, they were polite, and courteous and very hard working.
