Richard was totally fantastic . He turned up on time , worked hard and also recommended and fixed extra things that were about to expire . He was the best electrician I have come across ever , and is also friendly and reasonably priced and very trustworthy . I highly recommend him to everyone in this area

Richard recently completed a number of electrical repairs in our house including the installation of drive lights and a new fuse box He gave a clear explanation of what was required and the estimated cost before starting work. Where he had to replace wiring embedded in the wall he did an excellent job of re-plastering. He is extremely competent, thorough and has a cheerful and friendly personality. I would not hesitate to employ him again.

Thank you, had an emergency power failure, called RB Electrics,(after hours) Mr Ball who was having his supper talked me through a procedure which worked, I am quite elderly and he was extremely patient. He called me back to make sure everything was working. I really cannot thank him enough. Obviously he comes highly recommended.

After several years of procrastination, I got around to finding an electrician via Which? Trusted Trader to repair or replace defective electrical fittings and contacted Richard Ball. I cannot speak highly enough of Richard’s expertise, ‘can-do attitude and efficiency. Richard visited my home within a week of making contact, at the time agreed and within a couple of hours assessed what was needed and gave an estimate of the cost ( for labour and parts) to repair or replace; an extractor fan in a shower room, 3 smoke alarms, one bathroom light fitting, one LED stairwell light, 2 under kitchen cupboard lights and an outside PIR detector for a security light. Some of the tasks required him to fabricate replacement parts to accommodate new fittings.

I can highly recommend RB Electrical very good communication, the job was complete within 24 hours of me making an enquiry. Richard is a highly skilled, experienced electrician he did an excellent job of fitting two Philips Hue pendant lights and the work was finished to a high standard.

Richard installed two Dimplex Quantum heaters for us. He gave clear advice and an outline of how he was going to approach the work. He made the arrangements for the heaters to be delivered on the day. Arriving on the agreed date he was punctual and then worked diligently throughout the day. He works in a self-contained manner, with a focus on the job in hand. His work is very neat. He keeps things tidy and had covers down to collect any dust. We are very pleased with the installed heaters, which seem to be energy efficient and give good warmth to the room. On a personal level I like dealing with Richard. He is straightforward, trustworthy and has a friendly manner. The final bill was the agreed price. Would certainly be more than happy to call on Richard for further work and more than happy to recommend.
