Drew Decor came highly recommended by family members, and they did not disappoint! Over four days, they turned my new flat into somewhere that felt like home. The team were polite and friendly, and the work was completed to a high standard.

Work was to paint walls, ceilings and woodwork in 2 rooms plus kitchen and bathroom. Richard and team arrived at the date and hour agreed. All three were very pleasant and got straight on with the sanding down process. We left them to it and went off for the week having given them a special code for the alarm system. On our return we were very happy with the standard of work done and with the cleanliness of the rooms. The team had also painted the radiators in the 2 main rooms and repaired damaged plaster where appropriate. All done within the agreed cost and schedule. I had some concerns about the work which needed doing in my hall, stairs and landing and wanted to be sure I chose the right people for the job. I need not have worried. Richard came up with some excellent ideas. His team arrived promptly every day for two weeks and carried out the work with care and expertise. Richard's regular advert in our local magazine gave me the confidence to approach his wife, Suzanne, in her interior design store on Ecclesall Rd and start the ball rolling for a major overhaul to the inside of our house. Mainly painting but some wallpapering. Many cracks in walls/ceilings had appeared over the last 20 years and lots of grubby marks. Suzanne and Richard visted our house in Oct 23, took photos and measurements for quotes that turned out to be v close to the final cost despite changing the sequence of work later. Each phase occured at the booked time. Phase 1 (Dec 23): 2 wks of 2 men painting/wallpapering the attic bedroom & bathroom, then painting the attic & first floor landing including the huge wall from the roof. The quality of work was fantastic - smooth finishes, all the cracks gone, pristine lines and amazing symmetry in the hanging of wallpaper! They were extremely tidy and the carpets were hoovered at the end of everyday. Phase 2 (Feb 24): 1 wk with 6 men (we went away). Everyone was polite and easy to talk to. All were concientious and v hard working to get the job done in such a short time. This involved wallpapering a bedroom and one wall in the hall. Painting the rest of the stairs, hall, porch, pantry, lounge and kitchen/dining room including the dreaded ceilings. Nothing was a problem. Great suggestions for paint colours and wallpapers. Two sets of blinds also organised and fitted the week after. We fully recommend Richard and Suzanne.

Our bedroom was refreshed in a most efficient and professional manner. Much care was taken and the work was completed in a timely manner to our complete satisfaction. The garage door was completed similarly.

We seldom find ourselves in a position of redecorating in clients homes following our installations. However this changed recently when an old ceiling in an Edwardian property decided to part company with the Lath's and fall down. Once the ceiling was replastered and repaired, we were able to rely on Richard from Drew Decor helping us with the last peice of the puzzle. Not only was he able to find a 16 year old wallpaper to match the existing, but he carefully matched it in with the existing paper, avoiding us having to repaper the whole ceiling. He also helped us out by fitting a section of wallpaper in an unrelated area of the house which had suffered a roof leak. The client is very happy with the work carried out and as for us, we have a happy client so are extremely pleased with the outcome. We'd definately recommend Richard and his team - they were reliable and communication was great.

Completely refurbished our lounge and dining room in 5 days. The work ethic of Richard and his team is amazing. The team were courteous at all times and the standard of work was second to none. Needless to say we are delighted with our new decor. So delighted that hopefully we will be having them back after Xmas to sort out the hall and landing!! It was a big ask – to move every bit of furniture, DVD's, files etc. out of the way, to decorate the whole house and then put everything back. And they did it brilliantly. I went away for a few days and came back to a new house with everything in the right place and a beautifully painted and decorated house. They even wallpapered the TV cable trunking cover and matched the pattern to the wall. The standard of finish is excellent and the service was over and above expectations. Richard and the team did a great job of painting the walls, ceiling and woodwork as well as hanging wallpaper on one of the walls. Richard visited quickly after my original call and discussed my needs, made some suggestions to make my ideas even better and promptly provided a quote. We had an outstanding service from Drew Decor when they decorated our living room. They stripped walls and ceiling, put up lining paper and then painted. The standard of their work is excellent, they were meticulous and tidy in every aspect of the job. They moved furniture, removed tv and speaker brackets, curtain poles, blinds and radiators, and then put everything carefully back in place when they had finished, and even dusted! I will certainly be getting them back to do other areas of the house as soon as I can.

We had a great deal of decorating to be carried out and following an initial meeting and survey of work Richard supplied us with a quote for the work to be completed. Overall it took ten days to complete a lounge, two bedrooms, hallway, stairs and landings. We only have praise for the quality of skill and workmanship provided. The team were prompt reliable and polite throughout the course of their work. They took pride in their work and made sure all equipment was cleaned and safely put away each day. As ever Richard has provided a brilliant service from start to finish. Excellent communication from the outset. Drew decorating were very professional. They arrived every morning on time, they took great care with coverings for carpets and furniture. The work was completed early.

We had two areas we wished to wallpaper. We went to the shop, Drew Decor, on Ecclesall road where there was a huge choice of really beautiful wallpapers and helpful staff who listened to what we wanted and made lots of suggestions. I can only confirm what's been said in previous reviews. They started a few days late, which is pretty good given the pandemic problems, and put in a shift to repaint the whole interior for Christmas. £6.6k for about 40 man days plus materials was well-judged; certainly not excessive. There was good communication about our requirements and about how to manage repainting every room while we were living there. The work was top notch - 4 weeks on, I'm still looking at it and thinking how pleased I am with it. The staff were professional, courteous and took appropriate COVID-19 precautions.

We were delighted with the results of the work Richard and his team did. We had two bedrooms and a study fully decorated, plus two other rooms and the paintwork of a full Victorian hall and staircase. Chris and Harry in particular, who were here every day, conducted themselves in an extremely professional manner. They were considerate and very helpful in every way. We had Drew Decor do our porch, hall, stairs, landing and a bedroom and the overall experience was excellent from start to finish. They spent a few days preparing everything and I could tell as a DIYer that the result was going to be very good and it was. Attention to detail was really exceptional and we had a lot of cracks, etc... in plasterwork which are completely gone. The lads were extremely polite, helpful, tidy and turned up every day when they said they would. I told them I had an important meeting on the first day and they were as quiet as mice for that 1.5 hrs. They even worked Saturday to get the job finished in the one week and pulled in Callum for the last day. Harry and Chris thank you very much you did a great job and we'd have you back again in a heartbeat and probably will sometime in future. They are a benchmark for other traders. This was the first time I had used Drew Decor and I have to say I was very impressed with the work they carried out on my hall and stairs. They were extremely professional, always arrived at the time they had arranged and worked hard throughout the day. Every day before they went home they tidied up and left the work area clean and tidy. They spent a whole day prepping the hall which meant the final result looked fantastic. I would certainly recommend them to anyone and will definitely use them again.

Richard has carried out and completed a 1st class job on our lounge and office. He arranged a plasterer to board and plaster our artex ceilings! Stripped the walls of wallpaper, replaced coving, lined the walls and finally painted to a high standard. He also did an excellent job painting in white our old, polished wood large set of cupboards (which now look like new). Richard was very helpful in suggesting the shades of colour for our decor. We have nothing but gratitude and admiration for the exterior work (repair of damage, and wall and pipe paintwork) done for us by Drew Décor. Richard and Sam always arrived on time and the work was carried out efficiently, meticulously and skillfully. We have now used Richard of Drew Decorators a few times and have always been highly satisfied with his work and attention to detail. We telephoned Richard and he came to see us within a couple of days and did a survey of the work required. We received an estimate by email and arranged a commencement date. Very efficient as always. Richard and his team arrived on the due date (0800 hours every morning) and over the next two weeks decorated the main bedroom and the lounge. All the old wallpaper was stripped off , the walls were lined, the wood work and ceilings were painted then the walls were papered ; and what was really good was that every night they cleaned away all the ‘debris’ and hoovered up everywhere they had been. Richard and all his team are personable and very hard working and excellent at their craft. Last year I had my lounge, dining room, hall, stairs and landing painted by Drew Decor. I was so impressed I asked for them to return this year too, for the outside of the house. The quality of the workmanship is superb I swear the house looks brand new. It was Chris and the same team that did my interior last year and it felt like welcoming old friends back. Drew Decor have just finished decorating 2 bedrooms, including stripping walls, wallpapering, painting walls and woodwork. Drew Decor have just redecorated (repapering and painting) our lounge to a very high standard. The job took seven working days. They were thorough in their preparation and we're delighted with the results. Richard was helpful when we discussed what we wanted, provided a quote promptly, and communication about start dates and times was excellent and accurate. The whole team were punctual, friendly but unobtrusive, and cleaned up after themselves every day. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them or use them again.

My stairs and lounge were painted to an extremely high standard and dark stained woodwork transformed to a beautiful white satin finish. It’s difficult to explain in only a few sentences how fantastic Richard Drew and his team really are. On the first visit we discussed our requirements and he offered some great advice about the finish and colour scheme. You might be able to get a cheaper price, but I think he is very reasonable and worth every penny when you consider the preparation that is required and the quality of their work. The results have quite honestly left me and my wife speechless and we are very happy with the dramatic colour that we chose. When I managed to mark one of our newly painted walls after just a few days, Richard came back to give the paint another coat for us at no extra cost. I work for a large company who focus on customer experience, which is something that Drew Decor seem to have already mastered ... We had the lounge dining room hall stairs and landing painted. The job took 6 working days and the finish is superb. We had a decorator many years ago and thought he was good but Chris and the apprentices were ever better. They arrived at 8 am each day and as I work from home they were happy to flex their schedule around the times when I needed to make calls. They were a pleasure to have in the house and left everything clean and tidy at the end of the day . I’ve been so pleased I’ve asked Richard to quote for the exterior of the property next year. Richard and his team have recently painted our lounge, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom..... Wow, what an amazing transformation! They have made us fall in love with our house again! Their attention to detail, workmanship and advice is absolutely fantastic. They are extremely tidy, very friendly and I can't recommend them enough.

Drew Decor made a splendid job of painting the interior woodwork, ceilings and walls of a seven-bedroomed house we recently bought in Sheffield. The property dates from 1710. Most challenging part of the job was painting six of our home’s fancy ceilings — three bedrooms and two living rooms, plus the domed hallway. In those areas specialist plasterers had earlier created elegant patterns that our visitors assume date from centuries past. There are plasterwork Yorkshire roses, chrysanthemums, etc., (photographs available)… and in one of the sitting rooms fantastical friezes that run halfway up the lengths of two walls (photograph available), featuring bacchanalian scenes of ancient Rome. We asked Drew Decor’s men to paint the ceilings matt white, and the friezes in matt China Cup (pale beige). We presumed it would take a long time to give the plaster twists and swirls two coats of paint, as each would need carefully brushing to ensure they were fully covered. But the decorators didn’t use brushes for the ceilings and friezes. They donned what looked like gas masks, and spray-painted the plasterwork shapes. This proved a very effective and quick way of reaching into every nook and cranny. Those ceilings looked great, but then the man who had fitted them said each plaster emblem needed to be enhanced with a dark background paint - in the fashion of Wedgwood porcelain. Drew Decor's men spent hours painstakingly adding China Cup to give the plasterwork an added elegance.

We are very happy with the painting and decorating done by Richard and his Team. The work was completed on time by a very friendly and helpful team. We will certainly use them for future projects.

We had our living room decorated. This is the second time we have used his services and again he has been excellent. The work completed, painting the walls and wallpapering has been done immaculately. The trader is very friendly, efficient, clean and tidy. I would highly recommend him and his team and wouldn't hesitate in having them back.

Absolutely delighted with this team and the results they have produced over the last few days. Tackling kitchen, guest bedroom, main bathroom and separate toilet they have taken such care in their preparation of the surfaces in each room that high quality of results has been inevitable. The team arrived as arranged each day and left rooms super clean, tidy and accessible at the end of each day and especially at the finish. Richard has done a fantastic job of wallpapering, painting a bathroom and painting a wall of cupboards. The work is immaculate and he is very friendly and reassuring- I had the work done whilst away and felt very confident leaving Richard to get on with the work, returning to a perfectly completed job.

Richard and his team arrived at the agreed time and started work on the landing, staircase, lounge, dining room and hallway. Following full preparation, the team methodically tackled each room, starting on the landing and worked downwards. All actions methodically checked by Richard before moving to the next room. The team were very pleasant (and patient when we needed to move rooms) and Richard advised on the paint colours and finishes. A thorough and immaculate exercise in business efficiency. The price was fair and the rooms were thoroughly cleaned as they progressed through the house. My wife and I are delighted with the results and we can confidently recommend them to anyone. They aspire to reach perfection in what they do - and are successful in achieving this goal.

When we last used Richard and team it was for mainly exterior work, including restoration of degraded woodwork, and we were delighted. This time it was a bit different, a modest interior job, but we were every bit as pleased.

From the initial contact with Richard to the finished work, everything ran smoothly. We had the stringing on our stairs repaired, which included needing to repaint part of the walls that we're painted approx' 3 years ago - we couldn't remember the colour used, but Richard put us at ease in regards to colour matching and we trusted him 100% with doing this and he matched it perfectly!! We also had the kitchen re-painted with Richard advising us on the colour and he was spot on with what would go with our current cupboard/worktop colour scheme - a weekend later and we still can't stop looking at how fantastic the kitchen now looks! Richard arrived when he said he was, respected our home and kept everything clean and tidy - we also left Richard with a key/in our home alone and again, 100% trustworthy! We have since asked Richard for a further quote to paint our lounge - we wouldn't hesitate to recommend him and his team to anyone - we can't thank him enough and only wish we had found Drew Decor sooner!!

Richard and Chris did a fantastic job with a full decoration of our lounge and dining room. They were prompt in arriving each day and were considerate with our possessions, totally trustworthy and did a very professional job. Having had one of our bathroom fitters put his foot through the kitchen ceiling the new plaster work needed painting. Having agreed a price with Richard (who did the original decorating) we then decided to have the entire kitchen freshened up. We had to wait a while but was well worth it - looks completely new and at a great price. Onto the hall, stairs and landing next!

Drew Decor was first recommended to me about 5 years ago and I immediately used Richard's company to decorate the exterior of my 1920's house which still has all the original windows and doors. Richard made a superb job of the whole place and the finish has lasted far longer than any other decorator I've had in the last 30 years. This time I wanted the study, bathroom and toilet redecorating and Richard and Callum have not only done a first class job but have totally transformed the study beyond my wildest dreams. Drew Decor have done a couple of rooms for us. They recently completed our downstairs toilet decoration and repainted our front door. The works were completed to a very high standard to the agreed budget.

In less than 3 days last week, Richard and his team decorated an extension and a living room, both of which had been poorly decorated (by me) and only partially finished despite being started a number of years ago. Having struggled to justify spending money on a job I thought I could do myself, I am now an absolute convert! The woodwork was masked up in no time, gaps were caulked/filled and rough plaster work sanded down using a sander which collects the dust - all jobs that would have taken me days and created such a mess that I couldn't face starting. Richard and his team are real professionals who clearly take immense pride in their work. The end result is brilliant. Richard and the team came back to complete a third restoration job at my parents property in Whirlow throughout August. After the first two fabulous transformations were complete throughout the house last year, the DD team then came back to take on a mammoth exterior job this summer. They are super professional and incredibly courteous. My parents are elderly and felt very safe and comfortable having the boys around, which in turn comforts me. I was super impressed that when the weather stopped work, the boys came over the weekend to make sure they met their completion deadline. I cannot recommend Richard and his team highly enough. Their work ethic and craftsmanship is outstanding.

I approached Richard drew as the trustee of the meadows community Pre school in hope they may be able to help in some way to offer some much needed TLC to the preschool classroom . All the precious items and delicate things were carefully removed and covered. The painters worked dilligently and quietly and carefully. Here at a busy 4* hotel in Sheffield City Centre, we needed a complicated feature wall papering. Our business hours meant we required the work carrying out at a specific time, on a specific date. Richard and his team decorated my staircase, doing an excellent job - preparing the walls and woodwork with real attention to detail and then papering and painting; the staircase looks transformed, it is so much brighter and looks brilliant now.
