About

R.F.Henderson Ltd began life in 1979 as a domestic gas maintenance company founded by the now Chairman Robert Fenwick Henderson. The company grew steadily during the 1980’s and by 1992 when Ian Henderson the founder’s son and current MD joined the business and identified the Social Housing market as the main target for growth, whilst maintaining the original private customer base.

For more than a decade the company has delivered maintenance and capital works programs for over twenty Social Landlords and is now a very experienced provider and having successfully expanded in to delivering the same services to the commercial property sector covers the entire spectrum of heating, plumbing and associated HVAC systems. We became recognised for our rapid response, flexibility and ability to cope with customer demands and based on the original engineering background we are able to provide solutions and services effectively and efficiently to the Domestic, Retail, Financial Sector.

Boiler broke down in midst of ' beast from the east' cold spell. Despite road conditions and high volume of calls, came within 2 hours of call, fixed problem, explained job, and left it cleared up and working. Well pleased.

The company sent out an engineer within 3 hours of making a call for assistance to repair my boiler. He carried out the work professionally & efficiently, he was polite and friendly and I was delighted with the result. The cost was most reasonable also. I have used this company for over 30 years and have always found them excellent.

The team arrived bang on time and set about the task with a very high degree of professionalism. They took care to protect our home with plastic covers on carpets and plastic over sheets. At the end of day one they made sure we had heat and water. The job was completed to our full satisfaction as planned on day two.

Having had boiler problems (overheating) a separate firm gave wrong advice and left saying a quote would follow. No quote but their fitting solved problem. No spares available, contacted R F Henderson for 2nd opinion after reviewing present situation. Carried out service and if problem re occurs to contact again. Not inappropriately pushing for a conclusion to combi spares available! Will definitely use again!

Simply brilliant compared to all the cowboys out there (including the big, national companies). Can't fault them. Slightly more expensive than the cowboys and far less expensive than the rip-off corporate guys. Very professional, polite and always on time. If you want high quality for a very fair price then look no further.
