R G Austin Ltd

RG Austin are our regular plumbers for our rented property in SE3. They regularly call out for fixes, and also have done a bathroom refurb for us. In this instance it was to replace a boiler that was beyond economic repair. They communicated brilliantly, we worked together to get to a solution with regards the quote, and arranged the installation with our tenant who was very happy with the work and how quickly it was sorted.

This family firm have installed my present boiler, and looked after my previous boiler for well over 15 years. In addition they have looked after our electric needs and plumbing. They have always been prompt to reply, courteous and efficient. I can't recommend them highly enough.

I have owned a buy to let property for the last 13 years. I have used R G Austins for much of the maintenance work there, from annual gas safety checks to repairs. In March of this year the boiler and central heating system needed to be investigated as one of the radiators was not getting hot. R G Austins were thorough in their investigation to determine the cause of the problem and they effectively fixed the problem. Their quote and invoices were detailed and they explained what they needed to do at each stage. I was given the option of asking for quotes from other companies, once the extent of the work required was clear , but as I have always been happy with their work, I accepted their quote. As has been the case over the years R G Austins were friendly, punctual and courteous, as well as very professional, in their approach.

This last piece of work was cleaning off mould and redecorating i kitchen and installing an air vent. This firm has previously mended an emergency leak and mended and repainted the damaged ceiling in a reception room They also replaced a flat roof which had let rain in and repaired and redecorated the damaged ceiling. All the work has been done well. The workers have been sensitive, careful an nit intrusive. Time keeping has been good.

We've been using RGAustin for a number of years - always quick to respond, come and fix the problem, lovely to deal with, work always completed well and reasonable prices.

We have had everything from large building works (eg. an extension) to handy man type jobs (eg. fixing radiators and replacing blinds) done by RG Austin pretty much every year since 2002. They are always polite, finish the job to a high standard and always stick to their cost quote. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

RG Austin have carried out a lot of work for me over many years. This is a grade2 listed converted warehouse. The jobs done have been varied, 1. heating - new thermostats for the radiators, valves and regulators. 2. plumbing - new taps, toilet flush repair, vents fitted to waste pipes. 3. Electrical - fitting new lights in bathroom. Replacing electronic timer of heating system. 4. Carpentry - renovating the wooden sash windows, refitting the Washing machine. Since this building is a conversion some of the work has not been straightforward, but they have managed to solve any problem that has arisen really well.

This is the third time we use RG. Previously we had a stopcock replaced by Jack. Then we had a smart home control installed in the house by Jon. This time we have 5 new radiators installed in the house by Jon. We are happly with their work. They are puntual, responsive and efficient. And they give clear quotations detailed the work. Their prices are reasonable Happly to recommend.
