From first contact to finishing the job this company were the epitome of professionalism. They were prompt to answer my query and the ensuing visit to assess the job took place within days. I have a 5 bedroom house built 25 years ago and had the minimum of fibre glass loft insulation which had deteriorated. I was given a comprehensive look at alternative solutions and in the end plumped for Supersoft insulation because of its green credentials and insulating properties. The company sent a team of 3 to remove the old fibreglass, clean the loft and install the Supersoft. The team were absolutely excellent. Courteous, careful and exacting in their job. I cannot express how happy we are with the company, their team and communication by sales, installation and accounts during this work. The outcome is excellent. Thank you

I have no hesitation in recommending RJ Insulation. I had old fibre-glass insulation replaced by Supasoft insulation. This was a professional job from start to finish. The installation itself was carried out by a team of three who arrived on time, were very hard-working and polite and kept everything clean. I'm very pleased with the end result. My loft was cleaned out after the old (very horrible) fibre-glass was removed and then the new insulation and venting put down. It now feels a clean and habitable environment! It is early days in terms of assessing the impact, but it does feel as though the house temperature is more evenly distributed as well as being warmer. The sales and administration service was efficient and personable and communications were clear and speedy. The job was assessed via a pre-installation visit and the work was completed to the agreed schedule and budget.

Max called me called me an hour and a half before his arrival to say when he would be there. He cut a very neat access to the loft space, removed some old insulation and laid Supasoft insulation. Everything was done very neatly and on completion the place was tidied up as though no one had been there. Max was very diligent and hard working. I would have no hesitation in using R J Insulation again and in recommending them to others.

I waited a year to post a review as I wanted to see how the supersoft insulation performed. We used less energy last winter. Was this the insulation or was it because energy prices were so high that I used the central heating less? This summer we have not had the high temperatures of 35C plus so again although the upstairs was much cooler at night than last year was this the insulation or was it just lower temperatures? So I think the house is a more even temperature and am pleased that we had it done. The team were punctual, polite and cleared everything away.

We have used RJ Insulation twice now, firstly on a 1950's semi, now on a 1930's semi. Both installations involved removing old fibreglass insulation, adding Supasoft, raised boarding of the floor, and lining the roof interior with foil. The first job also sealed an old square loft hatch, replacing it with a rectangular hatch and ladder combo. RJ Insulation have turned our unpleasant, dirty, and awkward-to-use lofts into clean, easily accessible storage areas. It's made such a difference to how effectively we can use the space: it feels like we have gained a lot. The team of installers have been very efficient and friendly throughout both 2-day jobs. They arrived promptly and left things clean and tidy at the end of each day. They may not be the cheapest you can find but, in our experience, the service offered by RJ Insulation is professional, thorough and ultimately worth paying for. The cost was clearly outlined upfront and they were able to accommodate us changing the installation date. We would recommend them to friends and family.

We had our loft insulated with sheep's wool. We had enquired late last year but didn't get around to scheduling the work until this week. Someone came out to quote on Thursday and we agreed to a couple of weeks time, but someone had to postpone a similar installation and we were amazed to be able to swap dates and complete yesterday! Everyone we came into contact with was pleasant, thorough and knowledgeable. The work was completed with a minimum of disruption and in a straightforward fashion. The tidy-up afterwards was great! The process is not cheap, but worth the money for the peace of mind of a job well done. Would thoroughly recommend this company.

Our loft spaces have been transformed from draughty and dusty to warm, clean and eminently useful. A thoroughly efficient and professional operation from start to finish. A dedicated trio of industrious, polite and personable installers completed the work on time and to a very high standard. A thorough clean-up was carried out at the end of each day. My wife and I would highly recommend RJ Insulation. Our only regret is that we didn’t find these professionals sooner.

A large loft in our Listed house had a layer of Fibreglass and centuries of dust. The inspection was thorough and the work was completed in two days the following week. The Team who cleared the old fibreglass and installed the new Sheepswool were very helpful and efficient, leaving everything spotlessly clean. Very impressed but you have to pay for quality.

This was a very good experience for us. In the initial phone call, the firm were very honest about the price compared to glass fibre insulation. The survey was very thorough. In the day of installation, there were three people. They arrived on time, worked non-stop and were very tidy. We were very pleased with the whole experience.

The property had a layer of old fibreglass insulation installed in the loft, which was not very efficient and unpleasant to handle so I decided to have it all removed and replaced with a more efficient alternative. Based on the advice of the surveyor, I decided to have a 250mm layer of Supersoft insulation installed and to have the small loft hatch replaced with a larger one with a new ladder. The quote from RJ Insulation was not the cheapest by any means but the company appeared to be knowledgeable and professional so I agreed a date for the work to take place. On the appointed day, three lads arrived and got stuck in. They cheerfully emptied the loft, cleared it of nasty fibreglass, hoovered it and increased the opening for the larger hatch to be fitted. At regular intervals, I was asked to check that I was happy with the quality of their work and at the end, they returned all the contents of the loft and hoovered the floor. Throughout the process, the team were hard working, cheerful and courteous and I could not have been happier with the end result. Thanks lads.

I had loft insulation installed last week and was really impressed with the service. I had to move the date at short notice and they accommodated that. The guys who did the work were polite, professional and engaged. Very pleased.

I had this company insulate my loft which is in a listed building. First of all they surveyed it and gave impartial advice on the best insulation to use and then when they did the job it’s been done to a high standard. The lads that did the job were professional and neat despite the work being awkward and arduous, they made sure everything was tidied up after they had finished, in fact my house was tidier after they left than before they got here.

Cannot praise this company enough. When I read some of the reviews before contacting them I thought "they cant all be true" but they were!!! I had superfoil fitted in my chalet bungalow and am hoping it will improve the temperature upstairs in both winter and summer As soon as the team arrived Max found that there were extra areas which needed to be done. It was all carefully explained to me and involved additional cost and materials but there was no pressure to pay extra. The work involved having to crawl along difficult areas but it was all done very professionally. All of the team were polite and helpful and despite the extra work involved was still completed in two days

RJ Insulation cleared out my loft of all its contents, hoovered it clean, and installed new wool insulation, eaves ventilators and boarding. The team also helped return my items for storage to the loft afterwards. The company was pleasant and straightforward to deal with throughout the process, thorough and trustworthy. The work was carried out tidily, and the house left clean and neat. The work took less time than I had previously been advised. There was slight damage to a bedroom ceiling, and an appropriate resolution swiftly agreed. Now I need to find out if it will keep the house warmer - I hope so.

We employed this company to re-do and modernise the loft insulation in our property. There were two areas, one involved topping up the traditional fibre insulation in a modern single storey extension, the other a classic inter-war style loft with inadequate old-fashioned insulation, hot and cold water tanks and about fifty years worth of items we should have taken to the tip, but didn’t. This loft required emptying, vacuuming and generally sorting out, before installation of new eaves ventilation and downlighter covers, followed by a lovely snug lamb’s wool blanket which was ingeniously extended around the plumbing. We also had some raised loft boarding installed to facilitate access to the water tanks in future. The job was done efficiently, neatly and cleanly by the pleasant team and we are very pleased with the result I have no hesitation recommending this company for high-quality loft insulation work

From the initial call to the completion of the job, it's been a pleasure to deal with RJ Insulation. After the survey, we were given a quote almost straight away but no hard sell or pressure attached to it. The date for installation was agreed. Two lovely guys turned up to fit the foil in the loft, both were very polite and courteous at all times. Dust sheets were put down and they hoovered up at the end of the job both days. I would recommend this company to anyone who's thinking of having new loft insulation put in. You won't get better than this, genuine people that take pride in what they do, a rare commodity these days.

Having a difficult loft to insulate due to there being very little head room and beams making access to some areas very difficult ,I was very please to find a company willing to do the work. The workers arrived on time and carried out the work efficiently. They removed the old decayed insulation, vacuumed the loft before installing the new insulation and eave ventilation. The whole process was carried out carefully,cleanly, and to a high standard. The workers were very polite. Very please with the entire process.

Such an easy company to deal with. From start to finish the communication was excellent. No lengthy waiting, a thorough survey, such that suitable materials and approach was taken. The installation team were fantastic - so polite, courteous, hard-working, knowledgable, respectful of us and our home and knowledgable. The area was left as clean as when they arrived. Nothing was too much trouble, despite some of the areas being awkward and tight.
