Rob responded promptly to my initial enquiry to paint and decorate 3 bedrooms. Rob and his team produced work of an extremely high standard and we are delighted with the results. The team arrived on time each day and cleared up efficiently before they left. We found them to be friendly, reliable and trustworthy and have no hesitation in recommending them.

Rob's team decorated hall, stairs and landing to an excellent standard. Based on my satisfaction with that work I engaged Rob to decorate my lounge which was also done to the agreed price, time line and high standard. All treated my home with respect, were courteous and left everything clean and tidy. Will use Rob's firm again.

Rob and his team tackled the big job of redecorating our local churches' vicarage throughout. It was a five bedroom large detached house. They worked well with the vicar to bring this building back from a sorry state to a place which will be a lovely family home.

Only a couple of weeks after initial survey and estimate, this popular company contacted us with a start-date. Rob Read and Team arrived promptly first thing each morning and worked thoroughly and efficiently throughout, including tidy removal and replacement of fittings. The quality and appearance of their work is superb and fairly priced. Our kitchen-diner and bedroom look brand new, renovated. Surfaces were respectfully protected and carefully cleared up at the end of each day. Recommended by our now retired trusted decorator, these workers are consistently pleasant and approachable and genuinely professional. Based on Rob and Team's excellent work, in the New Year, we will definitely ask R Read Decorators to return and decorate our house.

Always arrived on time and started work promptly, very polite and trustworthy. Moved furniture back each evening and removed stair rail, curtain rails etc which was a huge bonus as I live alone. I contacted Rob after a very good recommendation and will have no hesitation to offer him more work and also pass on his details to friends and family.

Rob's team painted my apartment including the living room, hallway, 2 bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom. This was a full paint job i.e. walls, ceiling, skirting, window sills and doorframes. Rob and his team are professional, courteous, efficient and achieve great results, by prepping walls meticulously before starting and then painting with care & precision! They carried out indoor painting and expert wall papering for us and the house now looks rejuvenated! I also appreciated their careful preparation in the areas to be painted, sheeting walls, cupboards, using good floor coverings and clearing up after they had finished for the day. Rob and his team painted our new conservatory and tiled the floor. We are very pleased with how the work has turned out. This is the second time we have asked Rob to do some painting and decorating but our first experience of his tiling. He is now our go to tiler as well as painter. I thought the cost of the job was very reasonable and the work was carried out as per schedule. All involved were very friendly throughout.

I found Rob's firm through Which? Trusted Traders and was delighted with my choice. The hallway, bathroom and kitchen of my flat were damaged by a water leak from above, so a comprehensive redecoration job was needed. Two members of Rob's team took care of the painting work, which was completed to a high standard, and Rob himself did the hallway wallpaper hanging, with excellent results. I'm extremely pleased with the work and it was a pleasure to have Rob and his colleagues around. Their work is terrific, they left everything in good order, and the service was friendly and professional. Highly recommended.

The fact I waited four months on the waiting list for quite a big job speaks volumes. It was well worth the wait. All the way from the initial quotation to the visit, Rob was professional and responsive. We have a large open plan living, dining and kitchen with high ceilings. The work required was a stain block to seal the nicotine and stains we inherited when we moved in, followed by two coats on all walls, ceilings and woodwork. The wall required repair in places, the attention to detail in preparation was next to none. The woodwork was properly sanded and caulked as required. They were clean and ensured everything was masked and dust-sheets throughout. They arrived on time throughout and ensured they checked our requirements throughout the job. They took me deciding that a couple of feature walls in a different colour just before they started on the first day all in their stride. They used professional paint and ensured they got a colour match to our requirements. I imagine they are not the cheapest available but it really is a case of you get what you pay for. The finish is immaculate and all down to the extensive preparation before painting and the care and attention throughout. I am now back on their waiting list for another job next year and cannot recommend highly enough.

Work that was done many years ago still looks good today and recent work included great attention to detail to resolve a problem of mould to find a solution for the long term. Gets work done efficiently with minimum disruption. Highly recommended.

Rob re-decorated our living room, painting walls, ceiling and woodwork, and made some repairs to the wallpaper before painting it. We are delighted with the finished result, it looks superb; the work was done efficiently, finished within the time predicted and there was no mess for us to clear up. His price was very competitive, and we would happily recommend him to anybody. We are so pleased that we have asked for a quote for decorating the outside of our house.

Rob and his team painted the whole of the exterior and interior of our house over three weeks. The quality of their preparation work, papering and painting work was very high. They were friendly, arrived on time every day and cleaned up the house before they left. We felt confident leaving them to work in the house on their own while we were at work.
