It was a pleasure to have this team repair and decorate the exterior of our home. It is years since I have had quality of this standard - truly professional. The team was friendly, quiet and unobtrusive. They worked non stop and completed the work on time and as planned, including extras I had requested As a result I have asked for estimates for more work to be done indoors.

The decorators arrived promptly on the day which was agreed upon after an initial delay. They worked extremely efficiently and skillfully to decorate a three-floor hall, landing and two staircases. The top-floor staircase was very high and we were especially pleased with the cleaning and painting in such a difficult area. Every day the floors were cleaned and tidied and paint and equipment stored away. The decorators were very helpful and polite and repaired water damage in an adjoining room as well as on the landing and changed a door handle. The finished results are brilliant. Thank you. We would thoroughly recommend this company.

We trusted Rob to redecorate the whole inside of our family house. It was trust well placed - he and his team did a wonderful job and it was a pleasure to have them around. We couldn’t be more pleased, the cost was reasonable and the work completed within the budget and on time. Rob and his team were great. We had a new loft conversion, two existing bedrooms, and the hallway and stairs from top to bottom painted in just 4 days of solid work. From initial first visit to quote, through to completion of the job, Rob and his team delivered what they said they would do, on time, and to an excellent standard. Unlike other traders that we have used, it felt like Rob and his team delivered a service that they would expect in their own homes - really strong attention to detail, clean, and courteous. Rob and his team are professional, courteous, efficient and achieve great results, by prepping walls meticulously before starting and then painting with care & precision! They carried out indoor painting and expert wall papering for us and the house now looks rejuvenated! I also appreciated their careful preparation in the areas to be painted, sheeting walls, cupboards, using good floor coverings and clearing up after they had finished for the day. Rob and his team painted the outside of our house which had not been decorated for many years. They spent time preparing the wood and filling any rotten areas of wood (house is Edwardian) They were all great guys who worked tirelessly and professionally, and have a pride in their work. We are absolutely thrilled with the transformation and are getting them back to paint indoor windows. The work was completed within the budget of the quote and is very reasonable. We are delighted.

On this, our second contract, Rob decorated our Sitting Room. He and his team arrived as scheduled and promptly organised the room and started the work. He and his team are friendly, arrive on time every day and do a solid day’s work. They inspire confidence by their attention to detail. I am always impressed by how efficiently Rob manages estimating, carrying through the work, and leaving the area clean and tidy. All within the agreed estimate. I have asked Rob to decorate another area when he is available.

Rob, from R Read Decorators, was initially requested to paint a purpose-built media wall and skirting board then paper either side of the media wall. Rob discussed his availability, paint colour options and provided us with a comprehensive quotation, which we considered very competitive, within a couple of days. After we accepted the quote we decided that we would like coving fitted and painted above the media wall and Rob was extremely accommodating when we approached him to also perform this work and he went at lengths to ensure the coving matched what was already installed in the room. Overall, Rob was very communicative, extremely reliable, tidy, hard-working and provided options for what could be done throughout the whole process. We are delighted with the outcome of his work and we would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone.
