Had a minor leak which was caused by cracking in the one of the roof valleys. Richie came out and was able to identify the issue in minutes, and recommended a course of action. They we able to fit us in quickly (even on a weekend!) and at a very reasonable price, given the amount of work being done. Three genuinely nice guys came over, who very professionally completed the work in a timely manner. They were very friendly, knowledgably describing what they were doing. Richie kept in contact every step of the way, and has made sure everything had been completed to the highest standard. Very highly recommended!!

We needed some repairs done both at the front and back of our Victorian house and we were recommended to use RW Roofing by a neighbour. I am SO glad we did! Richie and his crew did an absolutely amazing job and even though the weather delayed starting, we were kept up to date and at no point did we feel out of the loop. And the work was professional and of the highest quality - they really know their stuff. RW Roofing reworked ten valleys and reset the ridge tiles on our roof over the last two weeks. Timing was just as promised, including associated scaffolding erection and removal and the work was charged at precisely the price agreed. Richie and his team are extremely hard working, pleasant to deal with and were very keen to ensure any cracked tiles were replaced and the roof and gutters left clean. They have even arranged their window cleaner to visit. We have been very pleased with their work, and although roofwork tends to prove itself over time rather than immediate impression, I am confident we could rely on Richie to make good under his guarantee.

RW Roofing undertook replacement of two flat roofs on our property. Richie was knowledgeable, helpful and straight forward. The estimate was in the middle of the range of the five quotes from a range of other companies. Communication with them was excellent. The team (led by Richie) arrived on time and carried out the work efficiently and professionally. They took time to explain to me what the steps they were taking and any unforeseen difficulties or necessary amendments to the work. The roof work was neatly completed a dn they tidies up some other minor issues without extra charge. All in all I can highly recommend them.

I contacted Richie in Nov for a quote on a leaking roof. He arranged to visit on 25th Nov. On arrival he looked at the roof to the rear of the house but decided that it was to cold and icy to go up onto the front of the house and that he would need to bring a colleague with him as it was too icy for him to go up alone and also he wanted a second opinion. I can fully understand his reluctance to go onto the roof in the icy weather but he knew what the weather was like before he attended so why not put all necessary plans into place prior to arriving? And bring his colleague with him? We then agreed on a mutually convenient time for the next visit that being 12 noon on 29th November. I explained to him that as it was my sons house it would take me 2.5 hrs to get there so 12 noon would give me enough time. The day prior I phoned and text Richie out of courtesy to make sure all was ok bearing in mind the long distance I had to travel. I received a reply stating he was busy all week so could we reschedule once again. I explained this was difficult as Id rearranged my work commitments to facilitate him and it was too late to change them now. I received no response from him whatsoever. Just in case he turned up I made the 5 hr return journey to my sons and Richie never turned up and despite me trying to contact him he has not reply to my messages. Communication and reliability is very important for any company and I feel very let down by him and he did not even attempt to call me.

I can't say enough how impressed I was with this team. I needed hanging tiles put up on the front of our house. The customer service from start to finish was perfect. I always knew what was going on even when I was at work and updated at every step of the job. The job was done in good time and didn't over run. The quality of the work was faultless and even my father who is a retired builder was blown away by the standard of work. Will definitely use this team again if needed and will recommend to friends and family.

I am very happy with the work done by Richie and his team. After inspection of the roofs, we then entered into a detailed discussion on the condition of the roofs. Things were clearly explained to me. Richie then provided a detailed written quote with options for a complete roof replacement or just remedial work. We opted for the remedial work. Plus the replacement of one flat roof with Glass Reinforced Plastic. On the 1st day prior to work commencing Richie invited me up onto the scaffold and gave me a detailed tour of work required. At the end of each work day I was again invited up to review progress' At the end of the final day Richie was working elsewhere so one of his team invited me up to have a look. All the work completed looked good to me. There were some items relating to the chimneys which had been missed. This was absolutely no problem. Richie was contacted and he readily conceded that it was an omission on his part and promised to return to complete the work on the following Monday. He was as good as his word. All rubbish was cleared from site and the scaffold was removed in a timely manner. I found Richie open and transparent to deal with. I feel confident that any work carried out was necessary. Indeed Richie drew my attention to items which though - originally included within his quotes – seemed on closer inspection not to require any remedial work. They were therefore left undisturbed. I have no hesitation in recommending Richie for roof work.

Had many quotes for roof work to add some bird protection around our solar panels. Richie gave us a good price on the work, so we asked him to clean out the gutters too. Even better than that, he was very communicative and reliable about when he'd be seeing us. He also sent us a reminder email a few days before the agreed date for the work, which was fabulous! On the day, he turned promptly and his team were all very friendly and efficient. Work was carried out to a very good standard and he showed us photo evidence of what they'd done. Can't really ask for a better service! Highly recommended!

I had a roof leak that was coming in through my hallway roof. I contacted 3/4 traders and Richie from RW was super quick to reply. He called me straight back and came out to quote very quickly. When meeting it was a pleasure to meet him, he was honest with his evaluation and very competitive with a quote (which was sent to me the same afternoon!). Richie kept in touch with me all throughout the process and kept me up to speed with repair dates, I never once had to chase or ask what was happening and when you have the stress of a leak this makes all the difference. The work then took place, but I was away from home. They turned up early, were courteous to my neighbours and did an amazing job to high quality. I was sent thorough photos and videos of the work once done. The leak is now fixed and I could not have asked for a better job. Following the heavy rain last week I can leave a review for RW Roofing. After three quotes they were not quite the cheapest, with the dearest “trust a trader Co” being fifty percent more, but their professionalism and communication made them my choice. When they came out to give me a quote they went onto my roof, the cheapest company did not, telling me my tiles were in good condition and that a re-felt and batten was the best option. No forced sell like the dearest company tried. I went ahead with the quote with work starting within a few weeks. Communication from start to finish was excellent. The work was completed in three days for a semidetached house. They were extremely polite and kept mess to a minimum. The work was completed a month ago and following heavy rain last week I have had no leaks in the roof space. I would totally recommend R W Roofing. The price paid was as quoted even with a little additional work being done.

Unlike a local CheckATrade roofer that I invited to do the work, who said he would let me have a quote and, despite a reminder, failed to do so, Richie appeared on time. I discussed what I wanted, and he let me have a quote within a few days. I accepted and the work was done quickly and professionally. He well-deserves all the positive reviews of his workmanship and I have already recommended him to my neighbour who also wants some work done.

Needed my flat roof replacing and found a local tradesman, R W Roofing. Got a very competitive quote and they knew their stuff. Turned up on time and the two chaps cracked on. Just over four hours and it was done. Neat and tidy, no fuss and an excellent job. Very friendly and professional. Absolutely recommend them.

Richie and his team erected scaffold, carefully dismantled the rear of the damaged brick chimney, rebuilt and also re-pointed the entire chimney, replacing pots, cowls and frost damaged bricks as requested. The completed work was to a very high standard. All members of the team were courteous, punctual and helpful. The site has been left very clean and tidy, especially considering the nature of the work. The work was completed on time and to the agreed cost. We contacted Ritchie for a quote for our small extension flat roof in our kitchen, which was felt and had certainly seen better days! From his recommendation to competitive quote his service has been faultless. He arrived promptly with his small team, did an amazing job with the minimum disruption and fuss. We needed two flat roofs re-sealed as it was 20 years sice they were last felted. Richie responded immediately and came to survey. He did not try to sell us anything we did not need! His estimate was prompt and much more reasonable than others we had contacted. We accepted his estimate and he rang to arrange a date to start, arriving when promised. Excellent communication, helpful recommendations. Work was undertaken at date & time agreed. Work finished to a high standard & waterproof. I was concerned in regard to potential problems with the neighbour's adjacent garage roofs either side of the work being undertaken. Great care was taken to ensure adjacent roofs remained watertight at the overlap joints. Site left clean & clear of all debris, old roof felt remnants & clout-nails. Invoiced at the cost of the original quotation, not the cheapest nor the most expensive. I regard the high standard of the work undertaken, and the overall professionalism as excellent value.

I called R W Roofing about a slipped roof tile after a previous botched roofing job. They fitted us into their schedule the same day, kept us informed on timings and (amazingly) waived the fee as the job was so small. A friendly service and great experience!

I called the company to investigate a leak coming through my bathroom extractor fan and to repair a longstanding issue with a gutter join. Richie came to do an assessment of the work required which included replacing broken tiles, de-mossing the roof and treating it, fixing the gutter join and cleaning out the gutters. I was given a price and that is what I paid. The work was done quickly and efficiently. Richie was very helpful and pleasant to deal with. I would definitely recommend his services.

R W Roofing Services worked though the extreme weather of Storm Darcy and even when the weather halted work and the roof needed to be protected with felt and baton, Richie visited the site on a Sunday to make sure the roof had adequate protection as heavy snow and winds were forecast. We used RW to renovate a roof using reclaimed tiling since our house is in a conservation area. They quoted promptly and clearly. When doing the work they were fast and efficient. When they found out the job was not going to take as long as they had priced for, they voluntarily reduced our bill. Richie and his team carried out a refurbishment of our roof on time, within the budget of his competitive quotation and to a very high quality. He kept us informed on progress and ensured that the roof was always left in a watertight condition throughout the build. He ensured that the site was tidied on completion and cleared of scaffold and skip within 24 hours. I would have no hesitation in using Richie for any other roofing work and would highly recommend his services.

With so many businesses not quite achieving the customer expectations R.W are a refreshing example of what is possible. Roofing as it was clear from the first conversation Richie has the customers best interests at heart and as others have noted he is keen to ensure a solid and long lasting result for the client.

This firm came highly recommended by other clients. Rainwater Leak on landing caused by capillary action due to the build up of moss between two dormer windows. Richie, the boss, immediately could identify the problem and quote followed very shortly. Date fixed for removal of all moss from house roof , followed by chemical treatment to provide long term protection. Text sent day before due date enquiring whether date was still convenient and arrival time agreed. Team arrived spot on time. All members of team incredibly polite. Clear up afterwards perfect - there was a lot of moss! Richie, who I believe has a direct link to the Met Office chose perfect weather conditions for this work and more importantly the chemical treatment afterwards which requires a few days to work satisfactorily. These people are to be recommended.

We received 3 quotes for a lift, re-line and re-establishment of a single-storey extension roof. Richie’s quote was highest but he was communicative and provided a breakdown of the work for the best solution for the long-term. The other quotes were somewhat lower but (a) the first came from a simple viewing from ground level and, although providing a written estimate, seemed to have little expertise whereas (b) the second quote was based on replacing like-for-like (they failed to provide a schedule for when work could be done or return phone calls etc.). R, importantly, cares about what he is doing. Instead of just ‘putting right’, R wanted to ensure everything would last. Existing gullies of fibre, bedded in mortar, were replaced by more efficient ‘dry’ gullies, Despite his best efforts to keep everything weather-proof during the work some terrible weather meant that rain penetrated between existing lead-work and a temporary covering. This, we believe, could not have been avoided without serious delay and is no reflection on the quality of R’s work: additional cost was agreed for lead-work to match the quality of the ‘new’ roof. R made the roof weather-proof as soon as he was aware. If you want a ‘cheap fix’ then R is probably not for you: if you want quality then he probably is. No job of this nature will be ‘perfect’ : our tiny criticisms would be aimed at R’s labourers and the ‘lead-work’ team who failed to match R’s standards of care when it came to tidying up.

Richie and his team came to deal with a leaking flat roof over a double garage. This was accomplished quickly and neatly in one day, removing the old felting and replacing with a modern 3-ply felt. The team were all good to have around and were all very polite and we were kept properly informed at all stages. The subsequent clear up was excellent. We had only one slight problem namely the coping stones round the roof edge could not be re-used (marked beyond repair by previous works). These were replaced without any trouble but it is worth mentioning that the coping replacement was not quite to the same high standard as all the other work. In summary, a first class job carried out by a very pleasant team. I would recommend them without hesitation.

Richie quoted for the repair of an area of damage to my roof felt lining. I accepted and he was able to carry out the repair straight away and was done in about an hour. Richie is a friendly and helpful man doing good work so I have asked him to quote for another job.

RW Roofing Services have carried out a fantastic job on painting my fascias, soffits, Victorian bay window area and garage door and all completed in two days and one being the hottest day of the year. They supplied all the materials and cleaned and cleared up each day. Richie and his team are very friendly and sociable and I would recommend this company to carry out work.

Richie provided a quote for a us on a leaking roof. Identified the leak as being part of the chimney join and gave us options for resolution. His recommendation was removing the chimney, replacing the membrane and retiling, which we went with. He scheduled the work within a week, and completed in a single morning. Just as the first lockdown started we suffered a minor leak in the main roof of our house. I engaged a roofer I'd used previously to fix it but after he had made several failed attempts to fix it, and with only days before we were due to complete on the sale of the house, I decided to find another roofer. After searching Which I found RWRoofing Services. I texted Richie (owner of RW Roofing Service) on a Saturday afternoon and he came round at 8:30 am the next day (Sunday) to examine the roof. Shortly after 9:30 he submitted very reasonably priced quote which I accepted. RIchie started work at 8:30 am the following day. He replaced the valley gutter and fitted a new water proof membrane under it plus redoing all the mortar and replacing tiles where necessary. He encouraged me to climb the ladder to view and photograph the work as it progressed. The job was completed by about 3 pm that day. Richie then suggested I leave it an hour before climbing a ladder again and playing a hosepipe on the roof to make sure it didn't leak again. I am pleased to say it that didn't Based on that experience and Richie's open and positive approach I thoroughly recommend him . The only downside is that having moved to Scotland I won't be able to use his services again.

Replacement small roof: All the work was completed quickly and to budget, the guys were friendly and helpful. Nothing to complain about :)
