Having installed inside and outside electrical cabling as well as lighting and sockets, data cabling and an alarm, I would trust and recommend Filippo and his team without hesitation. I had a new alarm fitted which integrated my existing wired sensors and added a couple of new wireless sensors. I also had an electrical lighting fault repaired and Cat6 ethernet cabling installed. Fil and Adam did a great job. Everything was up and running the same day, working flawlessly. Fil is extremely helpful and will advise on the appropriate work to suit your needs, including cost savings on unnecessary extras. We will definitely use RandSons again.

Needed to get some work done which kitchen fitters electrician had left incomplete. To cap it all in the week before Xmas. Wasn't very hopeful but Fillippo came around assessed the job including repairing damaged under cupboard lights and came the following week on time to complete everything. He and Max are a great team and did everything required in record time without fuss and for a reasonable price. Fillippo is not only a highly skilled electrician but an electronics engineer who can actually repair things rather than shrug their shoulders and say get a new one.. I cannot speak highly enough of them. Top people!

Filippo and his apprentice Adam are top professionals. They arrived on time, were very knowledgeable and worked very well together. Fil is the fault-finding champion and refused to be defeated until he found and fixed the issue intermittently tripping our fuse box. I will use him again for rewiring a kitchen refurbishment I have planned.

I contacted Fil if he would be interested in installing our home security system. He visited the very same day to carry out an assessment. Within days he provided me with a quote which I considered to be reasonable. An agreed date of the 24th March was planned for the work to be carried out. Fil and his assistant arrived on time. We found Fil and his assistant to be friendly, reliable, trustworthy, professional and helpful. Fil provided invaluable advice on the positioning of the sensors around the home. Attended within 24 hours of the first contact, to fit a cooker switch and circuit. Speedy, efficient and polite. Great communication throughout, including a text to inform us of the cost of the parts, plus a call when they were 10 minutes away from arrival. Will use them again.

I called Fillippo last week to assess the property for electrics and fittings. Found him in Google so wasn't aware i could find them on trusted traders. He was prompt , courteous and listened to our needs and practically suggested the changes with minimal to no changes to the current decor. I really liked his quality of work and was impressed with the way he did the job. The place was left neat and tidy. The pricing was reasonable compared to other traders who i spoke to. I recommend his services and would definitely use his services in the future.

From my very first phone contact to the completion of the job Fil gave an absolutely amazing professional service. Efficient - turned up when he said he would, kept in communication by phone. I contacted RandSons as a previous electrician let me down. From the start they were professional and punctual with quotes and appointments. They picked up on some dangerous elements of work completed by the previous electrician and put these right before completing the job. All in all a great service.

Filippo of R & Sons was excellent from the outset. He was professional, honest, and his workmanship was exemplary. It really pays in the long run to go with an electrician approved by Hertfordshire trading standards. He carried out an NIC assessment after a recently discovered damaged socket in our home, and thankfully uncovered other safety issues with our wiring. He also installed two chandelier lights. Where repair or replacement was unnecessary, he was honest enough to tell us, and billing was transparent throughout. Phil was an amiable and easy going person to deal with. His job was to install all sockets in a new extension as well as outside lights and all the ceiling lights.He was proactive in suggesting modern lighting of which we were not aware and we are very happy with the results of his work. Obviously he had to fit in with other aspects of the work on our extension but always ensured that the his work was done in time to fit in with other elements of the building. I would not hesitate to recommend him as a reliable professional.

I found RandSons from “Which” reviews and asked them to quote for converting the lighting in my house from halogen to LED. Filippo visited me, made some suggestions and quoted for the work which I considered to be very reasonable. We agreed a day for the work to be carried out and Filippo arrived with one of his assistants. Everything was done efficiently and all the rubbish cleared and taken away. All in all I was very satisfied with the service provided and Filippo was very friendly and easy to deal with and I would have no hesitation in recommending him.

Randsons were contracted to undertake all of the electrical works as part of the extension and wholesale renovation of our home. Filippo and his team were fantastic. Not only did they reduce our costs (from their original quote) for wiring/connectivity and lighting, but they also offered creative solutions which enhanced our architect's designs. Fil was friendly, helpful and quick to reply to messages. We had a loose connection in our ground floor lighting circuit which he located and repaired quickly. He also replaced some worn plug sockets. His explanations were clear and his charges were very reasonable. Highly recommended.

An email request for assistance was answered promptly. A time for a visit was agreed and Fil duly appeared on time. He was very polite and within a short time was able to establish the problem. We had three transformers replaced in kitchen lights. This was a very small job but was carried out swiftly and professionally at a fair price. We were very impressed with the service and would not hesitate to recommend.

Filippo re-did the lighting in my garden, and put in 16 low voltage lights. He also managed to get some old spotlights working. I thought they would have to be binned, but he worked his magic and they are working well. I also had a wall light in my living room that other electricians had told me to replace, but Filippo got that working as well. I am really pleased with how it has turned out. Filippo was on time and the job was reasonably priced. I would definitely use him again

Having had less than satisfactory work undertaken by electricians previously, our long and painful search for a professional company ended when we discovered Randsons earlier this summer. It was such a positive experience that we were full of confidence when we asked Filip to return to carry out a range of other jobs which needed doing sooner than later when our plasterer unexpectedly had to bring the work forward by a couple of weeks, Filip couldn’t have been more accommodating, undertaking the work in the evening and on the weekend to fit in with my hectic schedule. His work was faultless in every respect - including cleaning up at the end of the job. He is a very nice man as well. We really could not ask for more.

No words to describe how honest, conscientious and value for money Randsons are. Our electrics were badly done by a previous electrician and then we were ripped off by another electrician. Having previously had mixed success at best it is with delight and great relief to have received such a tremendously good service from Randsons. Although it was a small job, we were desperate as we needed a cable removed ahead of our plasterers coming in. Possibly due to this, the World Cup being in full swing and the weather hot, it had proven much harder than we expected to get an electrician to commit to coming out, I wrote to Randsons on Thursday saying we needed the work completed before Saturday morning and Filip agreed to come over Friday afternoon (after work to make things even more ideal for me). He was punctual, very polite, tidy, sorted the problem in next to no time, and provided advice regarding a few other jobs. We will be asking him to return to do more work as soon as the plasterers have done their bit. In summary a faultless, exemplary service. We are so pleased we have finally found an electrician we can rely on to keep our ageing property electrically safe and up to date. Thank you.

I had a new consumer unit fitted which was also moved from one location to another. I am extremely satisfied with the work carried out and I will certainly recommend Randsons to my friends for any electrical work they may need. I could not recommend Phil highly enough. From the initial pricing to concluding the work he was extremely professional and completely trustworthy. Initially and before we had even appointed him for the job he spent a couple of hours understanding our requirements, planning and suggesting what may or may not work. The work was to a very high standard and completed to time. I already have a couple of other jobs that need doing and will certainly be calling him again.

Filippo is an fantastic tradesman, one you can feel very comfortable with and communication is excellent. He worked on our rear kitchen/diner extension, where he did a great job installing the Electrics, Nest system, SONOS system, CAT5 networking and TV cabling, as well as a lighting system (Hamilton) which controls 10 zones with 30 lights. And a few other bits'n'bobs. The lighting system he researched in his own time and brought it to our attention. We will be using him again.
