We had new lap fencing panels installed onto existing wooden posts, underneath which were 15cm high wooden gravel boards. Also 3 concrete spurs screwed to existing posts. Will was a polite and tidy worker who was very kind and helpful. He was very diplomatic in his dealings with the neighbours and the work was completed to a high standard in what was at times quite difficult conditions. I would not hesitate to recommend this company. Communication is always prompt and the work is carried out efficiently and to the agreed budget.

I contacted Mark Richardson following a personal recommendation. He came to visit my house, provided an honest and thorough assessment of the work required, and quickly provided me a very reasonable quotation. The work was scheduled for 2-3 weeks later. Tim and Alan, the on-site team, were polite and extremely efficient. They took great care in installing the new concrete posts and soil boards, slotting the new heavy duty fence panels in perfectly. All old fencing materials were cleared from site. Their reputation is well deserved - they did an excellent job, and I’m very pleased with the end result. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Mark and his team.

Job was to replace the garden fence between me and my neighbour and involved removing large shrubs to access the fence. The work was carried out entirely to my satisfaction with all waste removed and the area left looking clean and tidy. The quote compared favourably to other quotes received and I received a professional service throughout. The two workmen were helpful, friendly and polite and I would not hesitate in recommending this company.

A difficult fencing job to begin with. The replacement fence was between a neighbour's hedge and a flower border on my property which was coming into bloom. With very little space to work in, the fence was erected without any damage to the planting. It was executed as agreed, the work was efficient and all spoils and the old fence were removed. RB Fencing are to be recommended for completing a first class job.

Job comprised replacement of a section of low boundary fencing, removing dilapidated fencing and clearing the ground, then installing new Jacksons pressure-treated closeboard fence panels 900mm high with gravel boards below. The fence panels were erected on treated H-section posts allowing panels to be removed if necessary in future e.g. for controlling vegetation. The work was carried out in an awkward place next to a steep bank and was needed partly for safety reasons. Before accepting the quotation (which we thought was on the high side) we asked for a breakdown, but this was refused. Nevertheless, having met Mark Richardson, we decided to go ahead and we have no reason to regret that decision. The fence now erected looks very good, a 100% improvement on what was there before. The price charged was exactly as quoted even though we understand that one or two fenceposts had to be longer than those allowed for in the quotation.

Had my fallen fence replaced in May. The quote was reasonable, but the work turned out unexpectedly difficult. I am really pleased with the finish and appreciate their professionalism. First, one of the panels was an odd size and had to be specially made to fit in. Then the underneath of the fallen wooden poles was full of big stones which took two days to drill through. The workman Tom did a great job, very tidy and courteous. The boss Mr Richardson kept me informed, arranged the whole work done in time and didn't charge me a penny extra. Thank you. 2/3 years ago RB Fencing provided a replacement fence at our village hall. Earlier this year someone drove into the fence and broke one of the main posts. RB returned, replaced the post and left the fence in the original good condition. On both occasions RB Fencing's work was of the highest standard and we have no hesitation in recommending them for other fencing work.

I recently had work completed by RB fencing and found that both office staff and the gentleman that came to my house were all polite and very helpful in communicating what needed to be done. (Concrete repair spurs to fix a broken fence and one new overlap 5ft panel in between existing posts). Materials used were of a high quality and the time keeping was excellent. Workers were polite, tidy and helpful. I would have no hesitation in recommending RB fencing to anyone. They are a great company to deal with. The work is of a high quality for a fair price.

From start to finish a great job. Emailed seeking quote and promptly made contact, Mark came to view and quote by return. Answered my queries, job booked in and all done with no fuss or bother. Gates look amazing and price was reasonable with great communication.

From start to finish the company acted in a professional, efficient yet friendly manner. The response to my initial request was the same day. The site visit was as scheduled, the quote prompt and set out clearly giving a range of options for either partial repair or complete replacement of posts and panels involving a two sides of the garden. The work for total replacement was carried out over a two day period in very miserable conditions but the end result was very neat with fairly minimal damage to flower beds and foliage. Regular consultation took place to ensure that I was entirely happy with the work as the team progressed. The service provided by RB Fencing could not be faulted.

I tried six companies to get a quote for the work to be done at my property, RB Fencing was one of only two that actually came to the property to check what was involved [Replacing a 6" gatepost that holds a lengthy 5 bar gate (The others simply wanted pictures sent thru)] - this was the first box ticked for me. Coming to the property also helped because Mark came up with a solution to stabilise & strengthen our gate, which had not been part of my initial request but was gratefully received. The quote was competitive - slightly more expensive than one and slightly cheaper than the rest, but meeting Mark made me feel comfortable that RB Fencing was the right company for me. The work was carried out on an absolutely atrocious day, torrential rain all morning, but the guy arrived on time, was very personable and (after a cup of tea) cracked on with the job. The site was left clean & tidy, with all debris removed, and - a couple of months later - I can confirm that the post is still rock solid. In short I would not hesitate to recommend RB Fencing.

This is the first time I have used Richardson Fencing and contacted them when I needed a new fence post and some repairs to a couple of 6 bar gates. These had previously been installed nearly 20 years ago by a company which Richardson bought when the owner finally retired. I was not disappointed in any way as they have been efficient, polite and sensible with all their contact with me and the job was done perfectly and they arrived on the agreed day. I have no price comparison data so cannot really comment on that apart from the fact that I was happy and they stuck to their quote. I will certainly use them again without hesitation and because of that am happy to recommend them.
