About
I am a PCA qualified damp and timber technician and I’ve also completed CSRT surveyor training. I am an NVQ3 qualified plasterer and NVQ2 qualified in dry-lining systems (ceilings and walls). I am a Wykamol approved contractor and a GPI approved contractor for insurance backed guarantees. I am also a CITB registered employer.
I have worked in the plastering and damp-proofing industry for over 20 years and I can assist with all types of damp-proofing and timber decay issues you may have in your home. I have a small but trusted and fully qualified workforce and we can assist with all aspects of your internal renovation works.
I offer free no obligation quotes and can also complete full damp and timber surveys for mortgage purposes for a small fee (fully refundable if we carry out remedial works highlighted). I am committed to delivering every customer a professional, quality service.

Ryan came to look at the damp issues in my house. He turned up when he said he would, and explained clearly what needed to be done. He then provided a quote shortly after his visit. I decided to employ this company to undertake the work. The work took slightly longer than expected, as a few issues were encountered along the way. All of these were dealt with efficiently & swiftly by Ryan and his team. Communication was excellent throughout, and I was kept fully informed. Ryan also communicated well with other trades involved in the work. They all turned up at the agreed time. The quality of work is excellent, and this is a fantastic company. I have no hesitation in recommending this company to family & friends. In fact I have already done so.

Ryan came to have a look at the damp proofing in my house after another company had done some repairs. Although he had bad news for me, his advice was very helpful. I was away whilst he and his team were working, but I felt very informed as he'd send videos of the progress every day. The plastering is nice and smooth, and everything has been sealed and finished nicely.

An excellent job was done and all left clean and tidy. Couldn’t have been more pleased. But what really stood out was how they solved problems. This to me is the measure between a good company and an outstanding one. ! On their first visit after knocking all the plaster off etc, they discovered I had two door architraves, the joiner who was coming later had to be delayed whilst they sorted this . To cut a long story short this meant they had to stop work on a job they had only expected to last one day, and they were fully booked up. To overcome this they asked if they could come on a Sunday. Therefore the customer expecting them on Monday wasn’t delayed,and I was sorted. Excellent, excellent customer service and a hob really well done. Thanks.19

Ryan visited one of my rental properties to give me his opinion on whether damp treatment was required, following me already having had work done on my other rental property just next door. Ryan provided me with a detailed explanation on why my second property didn’t need treatment and also why it was unnecessary that it was done in the first. His advice saved me shelling out a further £3000 which was very much appreciated, as was the detailed explanation. No question was too much trouble. I would definitely call on Ryan again for any future damp queries / work.

We had the team out to do our damp proof, in a property that we had just purchased. They arrived when he said he would to quote. Explained what was needed and why and also helped with preventing damp in the future. We received the quote when he said we would and he started the work when he said he would. The lads were so friendly polite and professional. They kept us updated throughout the work and also gave us further advise which we then went on to do. When they finished every day they tidied up which we didn’t expect as it was an empty house. They took pride in their work and the work was done to an exceptional standard. When they left on the last day we thanked them and they thanked us for giving them our business. They are genuinely great hard working lads. We will be using them again on the next one. Thanks again

They were really knowledgeable and helpful in sorting out some damp issues in my house, he explained exactly what needed to be completed and why. All work was carried out within the stated timeframe, communication was excellent and I am really happy with the completed job. House was left as tidy as could be given the work done and the joiner also did a fantastic job fitting new skirting boards. Would 100% recommend RB team and have them back again

We bought a house with some damp issues downstairs. Ryan came and diagnosed the problem immediately. Explained what was required and came back with a quote within a day. Work was completed to an excellent standard, and made for easy decoration afterwards. Provided all the paperwork on receipt of payment and we've had no damp problems since. He came back later in the year to install some ventilation to the upstairs bedrooms. He managed to fit us in to his tight schedule and worked into the night to get it done. Ryan was extremely reliable as he turned up as he said he would both for the quote and when he started work. Ryan was able to clearly explain what the work involved and cause of the damp issues. I felt he was trustworthy because he kept me informed of any changes as they arose including the bonus of being able to keep the skirting board. Ryan and his team were well prepared on the day and although the nature of the work means it is very dusty, they did a very good job of cleaning/tidying up after they had finished. I would highly recommend Ryan and his team.
