They were really knowledgeable and helpful in sorting out some damp issues in my house, he explained exactly what needed to be completed and why. All work was carried out within the stated timeframe, communication was excellent and I am really happy with the completed job. House was left as tidy as could be given the work done and the joiner also did a fantastic job fitting new skirting boards. Would 100% recommend RB team and have them back again

We bought a house with some damp issues downstairs. Ryan came and diagnosed the problem immediately. Explained what was required and came back with a quote within a day. Work was completed to an excellent standard, and made for easy decoration afterwards. Provided all the paperwork on receipt of payment and we've had no damp problems since. He came back later in the year to install some ventilation to the upstairs bedrooms. He managed to fit us in to his tight schedule and worked into the night to get it done. Ryan was extremely reliable as he turned up as he said he would both for the quote and when he started work. Ryan was able to clearly explain what the work involved and cause of the damp issues. I felt he was trustworthy because he kept me informed of any changes as they arose including the bonus of being able to keep the skirting board. Ryan and his team were well prepared on the day and although the nature of the work means it is very dusty, they did a very good job of cleaning/tidying up after they had finished. Ryan came to my house to quote for a damp patch repair. He assessed the damage and gave me advice and options which included just doing decorative repairs. Ryan communicated in a friendly and professional manner prior to being awarded the job. He quoted a fair price and agreed a date to suit me. After completion of the work I returned to find an incredibly clean and tidy house (all things considered). The plastering and joinery was of an exceptionally high standard (I base this opinion on previous trader’s work). Post-completion, Ryan sent all receipts, guarantees etc by email. Ryan provided us with a very reasonable quote for work to fix a damp patch on an interior wall in our dining room. I contacted Ryan at RB Plastering & Damp-Proofing Ltd after I had a problem with a gas fire installation. The surround had detached from the wall and the company that fitted it blamed the issue on damp, I had had 3 wildly differing estimations from local damp proofing businesses ranging up to £3,500 plus £1,250 the fireplace centre wanted to charge to refit. Ryan visited my home to survey the issue and immediately pointed out that damp was not the cause and the surround had come away from the wall due to a poor standard of installation. This helped me to build a case and now the fireplace centre have agreed to refit, properly and safely without charge.
