About
I am a PCA qualified damp and timber technician and I’ve also completed CSRT surveyor training. I am an NVQ3 qualified plasterer and NVQ2 qualified in dry-lining systems (ceilings and walls). I am a Wykamol approved contractor and a GPI approved contractor for insurance backed guarantees. I am also a CITB registered employer.
I have worked in the plastering and damp-proofing industry for over 20 years and I can assist with all types of damp-proofing and timber decay issues you may have in your home. I have a small but trusted and fully qualified workforce and we can assist with all aspects of your internal renovation works.
I offer free no obligation quotes and can also complete full damp and timber surveys for mortgage purposes for a small fee (fully refundable if we carry out remedial works highlighted). I am committed to delivering every customer a professional, quality service.

Ryan and his team did an excellent job for us. He diagnosed the problem and provided clear information on the treatment required. He also explained the issues they don't deal with and suggested an alternative. They carried out the work exactly as specified in the quote. They were professional, efficient and friendly, and cleaned up afterwards. Ryan provided a guarantee on completion. I can not praise Ryan and John enough. My initial call was unanswered but Ryan rang back within 10 minutes and arranged to come and see what we needed. Ryan arrived, checked the damp spots and explained how it had got there and what the remedy would be. He then sent me the quote within a day which I accepted straight away. They worked quickly and efficiently trying to cut the mess to a minimum and removing everything as they finished each day. Ryan explained all the processes involved clearly and in a way I could understand. Their workmanship was excellent and quickly finished, with the carpenter (who was also excellent) finishing off the same day. I would recommend this company to anybody who asks as they are extremely professional and well worth the price quoted.

Ryan and team worked on our main bedroom and box room damper-proofing and plastering. The interaction from start to finish was superb; Ryan was very knowledgable and talked us through each step and the reasoning behind what work needed to be done. He sent the quote very quickly afterwards and an approximate due date to start the work. We were kept informed of any changes and the prep we needed to complete before work started. When the work was being done, Ryan sent us daily updates which was great as we were away on holiday. The work was completed swiftly and to a brilliant standard. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Ryan and his team again and would absolutely recommend them to anyone needing these services. Thank you!

He did the whole back of my house was affected by damp including an internal joining wall, as well as the wall that was joining the semi-detached house next to me. Ryan was able to do a full investigation and recommended installing a silicone mastic. Out of the 3 people that we contacted for the job, we decided to go with Ryan, he turned up on time, completed it to budget and did a great job and gave me daily updates. He was even able to match up the skirting boards that we had in the rest of the house after he did the work.

Ryan is extremely professional and courteous. He was punctual and came out on a Sunday to provide a quote. He was very clear and honest and took his time to check if any work was required and clearly explained to me the situation. He was totally honest and trustworthy. I thought I may have had a rising damp issue but he explained to me it was not and pointed out the root cause. Honest and passionate about his work and clearly knows his stuff! Ryan and his team were great. I found him online, seemed to have good reviews so I got him round to give us a damp proof survey. He explained everything in an easy to understand way, told me exactly what is needed to fix our problems. Once I had got the survey a couple of days later, we organised a time to get the work done, Ryan was happy to work around my availability. They arrived prompt each of the 3 days of work and left the house in a clean state. I highly recommend Ryan and his team.

Installed a damp proof membrane to the whole of my party wall in 2 days which involved removal of all the plaster on some walls due to the thickness. Ryan & the guys were on time, friendly & efficient. Ryan explained things to me really well including the extra plastering required. He also said some sections didn't need doing, saving me money and also carried out a few repairs to my patio window seals at no extra cost. Super happy with the job and the joiner did a great job too on the brand new skirting boards. Would recommend Ryan & his team & felt safe with them having access to the house for two days whilst I was at work. Thanks Guys

I asked RB to give a quote for what I thought was rising damp in my conservatory. He responded to my text immediately and came the following day - a Sunday morning. He used his equipment to test damp levels and said the readings were very low and that nothing needed doing (he suggested we apply anti-damp paint). I can only say a huge thank you for coming and for being genuine. Should we need any damp-proofing or plastering in future, I'll be sure to contact RB.
