Ryan was extremely reliable as he turned up as he said he would both for the quote and when he started work. Ryan was able to clearly explain what the work involved and cause of the damp issues. I felt he was trustworthy because he kept me informed of any changes as they arose including the bonus of being able to keep the skirting board. Ryan and his team were well prepared on the day and although the nature of the work means it is very dusty, they did a very good job of cleaning/tidying up after they had finished. I would highly recommend Ryan and his team.

Having decided to finally a tackle a damp problem affecting the top of an internal chimney breast and adjoining walls, I contacted Ryan to request an inspection/assessment of the problem. Ryan's knowledge of the potential causes of the problem was immediately impressive and assuring, and a date was agreed for Ryan to visit my property and assess the issue. Ryan arrived on the date and time agreed and gave a detailed assessment of the cause of the problem and thorough explanation of what the remedial work would involve. Ryan subsequently sent me over a detailed quote for the work which was excellent. A start date was agreed, and Ryan and his team arrived to begin work on the date and time as expected. Throughout the work, Ryan kept me fully informed of their progress and what the next steps would involve which was really helpful. Ryan and his team worked incredibly hard and the job was completed in the planned timeframe, including the the visit of a joiner to complete the job, which Ryan organised. I'm really pleased with the finish, the standard of the work is first class and I can't thank Ryan and his team enough for helping me resolve a problem that had been affecting my property for some time. I can't recommend highly enough.

Ryan is extremely professional and courteous. He was punctual and came out on a Sunday to provide a quote. He was very clear and honest and took his time to check if any work was required and clearly explained to me the situation. He was totally honest and trustworthy. I thought I may have had a rising damp issue but he explained to me it was not and pointed out the root cause. Honest and passionate about his work and clearly knows his stuff! Ryan and his team were great. I found him online, seemed to have good reviews so I got him round to give us a damp proof survey. He explained everything in an easy to understand way, told me exactly what is needed to fix our problems. Once I had got the survey a couple of days later, we organised a time to get the work done, Ryan was happy to work around my availability. They arrived prompt each of the 3 days of work and left the house in a clean state. I highly recommend Ryan and his team.

Installed a damp proof membrane to the whole of my party wall in 2 days which involved removal of all the plaster on some walls due to the thickness. Ryan & the guys were on time, friendly & efficient. Ryan explained things to me really well including the extra plastering required. He also said some sections didn't need doing, saving me money and also carried out a few repairs to my patio window seals at no extra cost. Super happy with the job and the joiner did a great job too on the brand new skirting boards. Would recommend Ryan & his team & felt safe with them having access to the house for two days whilst I was at work. Thanks Guys

I asked RB to give a quote for what I thought was rising damp in my conservatory. He responded to my text immediately and came the following day - a Sunday morning. He used his equipment to test damp levels and said the readings were very low and that nothing needed doing (he suggested we apply anti-damp paint). I can only say a huge thank you for coming and for being genuine. Should we need any damp-proofing or plastering in future, I'll be sure to contact RB.

I sourced several quotes for re-plaster after electrical works had been carried out in my living room. Ryan was one of the few trade people which kept to the arranged appointment and supplied electronic quote/paperwork as promised. After booking the job, Ryan was flexible on his schedule when I needed to postpone due to some further electric works needed. The work was finished in one day, and the team tidied up after themselves. They also removed the flooring in the room which was above and beyond. Ryan put me at ease from the day that I approached him with a house that had an entire ground floor of damp, with floor rot and related issues. His attitude and the way he worked with me managing the project made me feel really reassured at what could have been a really stressful time. Ryan has just completed a full damp proof course to our kitchen and I couldn’t be more pleased with the result and impressed with the overall service. From the outset, he turned up to quote when he said he would, the quote was detailed and gave clear instruction as to what we could expect from him and what he needed us to do to prepare the space for them to start work. He was easy to get hold of and happy to answer any questions I had prior to the job starting and turned up exactly when he said he would to start the job. He quoted for 3 days but managed to get it done in 2 and at the end of the first day, gave me a full update as to where they were at and what they planned to do next. The actual finish was brilliant, the plaster work including the edging around the window frames was spot on. Even the electrical sockets were put back on without a mark on them. The kitchen was swept and mopped and all rubbish was taken away. Such a relief to walk back into the house expecting carnage given the nature of the job, only to see it neat and tidy apart from a little dust. On payment he sent a receipt and contractors guarantee immediately - no having to chase for the paperwork. I’m at the end of pretty much a full house renovation (roof, windows, electrics etc ) and out of all the contractors we’ve had, Ryan is the only one I could say was excellent. Thanks so much! Ryan originally came to quote to damp proof the downstairs of the house I had just bought and recommended I go back to my surveyors to complain, as the house clearly had damp problems not picked up by my home buyer’s report. Based on his recommendation I was able to get a chunk of the damp proofing course paid for. The work was carried out to a really high spec by Ryan and his team. They worked incredibly hard, working 13 hours one day to get the job done. Absolute grafters! My house has very uneven walls, given it was built in 1887, and Ryan and his team did the most incredible plastering job to get the walls straight. Ryan really takes the time to explain everything the job entails and to put your mind at rest. He’s always at the end of the phone too if you have any queries or concerns. I am really, really happy with the job he and his team have done and would absolutely recommend to anyone needing a damp proof course.
