I moved into a new house this year, and a previous owner (who had been a bit of a bodger) had had a shower installed with very dodgy looking wiring in it! The shower needed replacing, but no plumber would touch the job with the electrics as they were. I sent Rob Prior a photo and he emailed straight back to tell me all the issues he could see, and gave me a rough idea of what it would cost to rectify the situation. I was very reassured by his clarity and prompt reply. He wasn't the only person I'd approached, but he was the only person I got to look at the job, as I could tell from his email that he was interested in safety, and doing the job properly. When he came to spec the job, he listened to my concerns and suggested a couple of suitable ways we could route the wiring so that it would be safe, without being obtrusive. His price was reasonable, and his communication was very good throughout. Rob sent Steve, one of his trusted electricians, to do the work. Steve arrived on the dot of 8am, and was very thorough and kept me in the picture throughout. Not only are these guys great electricians, but they are lovely people too. I found Rob's company through WHICH trader, so I knew that this company is WHICH recommended, and I have in turn recommended Rob and his team several times to friends and family since they came to do the work. Peace of mind, and a good job done - that's good value in my book.

I contacted Rob about the electrical problem we were experiencing, particularly as it affected the cooker. Rob was great, easy to talk with, efficient, and, in view of the urgency, managed to find time to get to us on the same day. He arrived when he said he would and sorted out a fix for the problem without any drama or delay. I am happy to recommend RCP Electrical / Rob.

I have used RCP electricians on two occasions, and both times Steve turned up promptly on the agreed date. I initially reached out to Rob for a full rewiring of a 3-bedroom Victorian mid-terrace, but he assessed the situation and deemed it unnecessary. This advice saved me a significant amount of money. Rob offered a detailed quote and suggested budget-friendly alternatives like surface-mounted sockets for the kitchen, which will be rebuilt in a few months. Rob and Steve were adaptable throughout the project, accommodating minor changes as the work progressed. Despite my tight timeline and coordination with other tradesmen, they ensured everything ran smoothly. Steve, who carried out the work, kept me updated regularly, making sure I was satisfied with the progress. The kitchen trunking was particularly neat, and Steve also did additional installations when I requested them. The total cost for the whole job came to approximately £5K and took 6 days. I highly recommend Rob and Steve for any electrical work. As first-time homeowners, my girlfriend and I greatly appreciate their honesty, professionalism, and high-quality service. I was really grateful to find Rob. He explains what needs to be done, gives you an idea of cost and arrives on time. He leaves your home clean and tidy and it is lovely to find an electrician who you can trust and who knows what he is doing. I would always use him for any electrical work.

When an EICR was required at short notice as part of selling my property, I was pleased that Rob was able to respond quickly. He arrived on time and explained what the task entailed. I was very pleased that he was able to remove an obvious hazard and that his information increased my safety awareness. I will call on his firms again should I require an electrician in my new home.

We contacted Rob Prior regarding repairing a bathroom light. H explained that the light we have should be replaced rather than repaired.. He recomended a light from Screwfix and quoted to supply and fit the light. We agreed a date and Ron installed and fitted the light vey professionally and even checked a couple of miscellaneous tasks, he couldn't of been more helpful. We will definately contact Rob for any further works and will not hesitate in recommended him.

I would highly recommend RCP installations, having used them for a second time now. My electrics recently tripped out twice and I rang Rob in a panic. He kindly took the time to explain (correctly) what he though the problem may be and said he would send Steve to have a look. Steve arrived at the arranged time and quickly diagnosed and repaired the fault. This involved lifting floor boards to access a cable but he took care not to cause any damage or untidiness. He is also very pleasant and helpful. RCP installations are fairly priced, will quote for work beforehand and there are no hidden extra charges. Can't praise them enough.

I needed to get work done quickly to be able to rent my flat out, and after a bad experience with another electrician, RCP were great. Rob was really clear and reassuring on the phone and came round quickly to look at what needed doing. They ended up saving me hundreds of pounds as some of the work recommended by the previous electrician was actually unnecessary. They carried out the work that was needed efficiently, and left everything clean and tidy. All round great to deal with and highly recommended.

Rob fitted a load of new lights in the bedroom, several new switches, and a new extractor in the bathroom. His work was impeccably neat and carried out efficiently and swiftly. I have used RCP Installations in the past to install some Halogen downlighters in my lounge and bedroom and found them very efficient, so when my main fuse tripped out on a Friday afternoon I emailed RCP and asked if they could help. Fortunately it was only the utility room which was causing the problem and I had electricity in the rest of the house but RCP sent Steve round on the Monday to check out and resolve the problem in the utility room. Whilst he was there I asked for a quotation to renew the light fittings in my car port and shed and replace a security light, which I accepted and Steve was soon back and quickly fitted the new lights. He did a very neat job, to budget, and as before I was very satisfied with his work. RCP are now my go to electricians for any electrical works I need done.

I had a great experience with RCP from start to finish. The quote was accurate, the timeframe for booking in for the works to be completed was reasonable. The engineer that came to complete the works, was efficient, quick and tidied up after himself. Since moving to the area in February 22, we have used RCP on 3 or 4 occasions. In each case the work has been carried out to our full satisfaction, has been punctual and friendly. This was fairly minor in finding and fixing a fault as well as replacing a couple of light connections. Equally important, we consider it to be good value for money. RCP will be our go to electrical services company for any future requirements that may occur, and we have no hesitation in recommending them most highly.

I am in the process of selling my home and used RCP Installations Ltd to test all my electrics and issue an E1CR certificate necessary for the buying process. The electrical work was carried out to a very high standard and I found the electrician to be extremely knowledgable, competent and also very pleasant. RCP Installations undertook a condition survey of my home's electrics and undertook the required remedial works, which included a fuse board upgrade. The works were undertaken on the agreed dates and were charged in line with the estimates provided, which were very reasonable. RCP were very quick to respond to my initial contact and walked me through all the necessary works that were needed to be undertaken. Both Rob and Steve were friendly, informative and incredibly professional. Profoundly impressed and greatly relieved by Steve's visit. Main points: He arrived early, giving time to organise parking and permit for him He came very fully equipped with test devices He worked continuously for more than 4 hours, turning down tea/coffee we offered. Even more than the obvious skill and thoroughness, he was able to analyse the results and make creative changes as he worked. He made it clear to us that faults were not due to wiring failure, but incompetent past electrical work during kitchen and bathroom improvements When he left we were very clear about the work to be done on his next visit.

I had been unable to contact several other businesses that I had contact details for. I was pleased that they were available within a timeframe that suited me to do the work that I needed done. The electrician turned up on time on the appointed day and set to work. I needed to have an electrical socket moved prior to having fitted furniture installed. The job was slightly more complicated than I had at first imagined, but that wasn't a problem. The electrician came across to me as being competent and professional, so I felt confident that his work would be of good quality. I'm happy with the work that he did, and I am also pleased to provide this positive review.
