RDJ Shutters are based in Chorleywood with a service that spans Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Cambridgeshire, Northamptonshire and Oxfordshire, however I have fitted Suffolk, Norfolk, Nottingham, Shropshire, South Wales, and the south coast. Specialising in Interior Shutters and Wooden Blinds. Our shutters will enhance the interior of your home and control the light better than any other window covering, we provide a free home survey and quotation service, we also carry samples with us so you will be able to choose the style that suits you.

This was the third set of shutters provided and installed by RDJ Shutters for us and, as always, from the quote to the installation, the process was very smooth and efficient. Richard is very experienced and knowledgeable in his field, and able to offer good and honest advice and solutions. The shutters are of good quality and fitted perfectly. They arrived within the expected timeframe and exactly at the price we agreed. Also, it's worth highlighting that there are no hidden costs added after the initial costing which from looking around appears not always to be the case. The quote provided covers both the shutters and the installation and represents good value for money. It's always a pleasure to deal with Richard and we would highly recommend his service.

Richard and his colleague did an excellent job in fitting shutters to three windows, two of which are bays. One of the bay windows proved to be a bit of a challenge due to the interior sill not being level, but Richard sorted it out and it looks great. I have no hesitation in recommending RDJ, Richard is a pleasure to deal with and the shutters are top quality.

Pleasure to work with Richard from start to finish. An experienced carpenter, his advice and product knowledge was invaluable given it was an awkward window shape for shutters. Everything went to plan from start to finish with no hiccups. We knew how long the lead time was, and it was delivered on time to a high quality standard. The fitting was perfect. Richard was very professional and courteous in his service. Richard fitted the shutters for all my windows and patio doors and I am extremely pleased with the work done. His price was very competitive. The shutters are very good quality. Richard was very helpful with the selection process and gave professional advice all through. The measuring, ordering and fixing of the shutters arrived in record time - just over 2 months (considering this was over the Christmas period). They cleaned up as they worked and it felt like I was given a brand new house. His aftercare service is impressive - checking to make sure everything was fine with the shutters a few days after. Richard was made known to us by family members who have all used him, and have all been thrilled with his work. From coming to measure up for the blinds and giving excellent suggestions, showing us samples and giving some ideas we had immediate confidence in him. The quote we received was a total breakdown of each room which was very helpful. He told us roughly when the blinds would be ready and delivered to him, due to Covid we thought there may be delays, however, we had a call yesterday and he was able to fit them today. His work is amazing, the blinds were fitted in three bedrooms, and one office window upstairs and in a dining room bay window downstairs. His work is so efficient, we had absolutely no mess at all. The blinds look absolutely fab in all the rooms, we would recommend him again and again!. We found Richard very professional and also friendly, he has assured us that any problems we should contact him.

We ordered from RDJ Shutters based on a friend's recommendation and were not disappointed. Richard responded quickly on our first request, coming to our house, measuring up and giving a quote with no pressure to buy. Having other quotes gave us the confidence we were getting a competitive price. Blinds took about 13 weeks from order to fitting. Richard and his son are very personable, tidy and very professional. The quality of the finish and their attention to detail is outstanding. We have 2 large bay windows at the front of our property and the shutters have really made a difference. I said to Richard that you often have an expectation on how a job will turn out and quite often it never quite measures up. On this occasion it certainly has. "Wow" was what I said to the guys when they finished. ….just wow!

Yesterday on the 26th March 2021 we had MDF shutters installed in 4 rooms of our newly renovated chalet bungalow. The work was completed by RDJ Shutters of Chorleywood, Hertfordshire. From start to finish Richard and his son were extremely professional, polite and friendly, throughout the day the guys were really careful around the house and cleaned up around themselves as they went. The shutters look fantastic and the quality of the workmanship is spot on. I would have no doubt in recommended RDJ Shutters and I would like to thank Richard for delivering something that has transformed our little house into an even lovelier place to live than it already was. For the record, I am not related to Richard and did not know him before seeking a quote, so this is not a scam review, I am a 100% genuine happy customer.

Richard came to see us last year and had lots of samples to choose from and was extremely helpful. We already knew what we wanted so we decided to use RDJ shutters and placed our order. Richard did explain it would be a slightly longer wait due to covid, this was not a problem and very much expected in a pandemic! Richard came to fit our shutters yesterday in our bay window, landing and master bedroom and it transformed the rooms instantly, my husband and I are so pleased. Richard was extremely professional came in the masked and kept distance at all times, we left him to get on with it and he was neat, tidy and very polite. He took all rubbish and even our old blinds away with him. The plantation shutters are the superb quality we would highly recommend RDJ shutters.
