Richard is one of the best and most politest trader i have come across. Always kept me updated. very professional and he is brilliant at what he does. I would 100000 percent use him again.

We have just had our new shutters delivered and fitted today and wow they look amazing and have completely transformed our rooms. Richard was helpful from the start and knowledgeable on what would look best and suit the windows. We opted for wooden and the quality and fitting are exceptional love them!!! Richard was very professional and courteous in his service. Richard fitted the shutters for all my windows and patio doors and I am extremely pleased with the work done. His price was very competitive. The shutters are very good quality. Richard was very helpful with the selection process and gave professional advice all through. The measuring, ordering and fixing of the shutters arrived in record time - just over 2 months (considering this was over the Christmas period). They cleaned up as they worked and it felt like I was given a brand new house. His aftercare service is impressive - checking to make sure everything was fine with the shutters a few days after. Richard fitted some shutters in a previous house, as soon as we moved called him in again as we liked the product and service so much, again he came out providing a great service and measuring everything up giving ideas as we went round. They have now been fitted and are looking fantastic I thoroughly recommend this product and service.

Richard was made known to us by family members who have all used him, and have all been thrilled with his work. From coming to measure up for the blinds and giving excellent suggestions, showing us samples and giving some ideas we had immediate confidence in him. The quote we received was a total breakdown of each room which was very helpful. He told us roughly when the blinds would be ready and delivered to him, due to Covid we thought there may be delays, however, we had a call yesterday and he was able to fit them today. His work is amazing, the blinds were fitted in three bedrooms, and one office window upstairs and in a dining room bay window downstairs. His work is so efficient, we had absolutely no mess at all. The blinds look absolutely fab in all the rooms, we would recommend him again and again!. We found Richard very professional and also friendly, he has assured us that any problems we should contact him.

We ordered from RDJ Shutters based on a friend's recommendation and were not disappointed. Richard responded quickly on our first request, coming to our house, measuring up and giving a quote with no pressure to buy. Having other quotes gave us the confidence we were getting a competitive price. Blinds took about 13 weeks from order to fitting. Richard and his son are very personable, tidy and very professional. The quality of the finish and their attention to detail is outstanding. We have 2 large bay windows at the front of our property and the shutters have really made a difference. I said to Richard that you often have an expectation on how a job will turn out and quite often it never quite measures up. On this occasion it certainly has. "Wow" was what I said to the guys when they finished. ….just wow!

Yesterday on the 26th March 2021 we had MDF shutters installed in 4 rooms of our newly renovated chalet bungalow. The work was completed by RDJ Shutters of Chorleywood, Hertfordshire. From start to finish Richard and his son were extremely professional, polite and friendly, throughout the day the guys were really careful around the house and cleaned up around themselves as they went. The shutters look fantastic and the quality of the workmanship is spot on. I would have no doubt in recommended RDJ Shutters and I would like to thank Richard for delivering something that has transformed our little house into an even lovelier place to live than it already was. For the record, I am not related to Richard and did not know him before seeking a quote, so this is not a scam review, I am a 100% genuine happy customer.

Richard visited us to measure and quote for plantation shutters late in 2020. It was clear that RDJ Shutters were a professional company with lots of experience and product knowledge. We had plenty of information to decide on the type of shutters we’d prefer and would suit our home. Today saw the work completed. Richard and his son Robert were prompt and thorough in the installation and we are absolutely delighted with our new shutters. Would highly recommend this company.

Richard promptly came round, discussed options and quoted. There was no hard sell. He told us there would be a delay in fitting due to late supplies from China, and this was the case. He fitted the shutters today, was quick and very tidy, they look superb. Highly recommend.

Richard came to see us last year and had lots of samples to choose from and was extremely helpful. We already knew what we wanted so we decided to use RDJ shutters and placed our order. Richard did explain it would be a slightly longer wait due to covid, this was not a problem and very much expected in a pandemic! Richard came to fit our shutters yesterday in our bay window, landing and master bedroom and it transformed the rooms instantly, my husband and I are so pleased. Richard was extremely professional came in the masked and kept distance at all times, we left him to get on with it and he was neat, tidy and very polite. We are thrilled with the plantation shutters that Richard and Brian installed in three rooms at the front of our house. I had my initial consultation with Richard from RDJ Shutters back in November 2019. I wanted plantation shutters for two large bay windows. Richard was very accommodating on arranging a good time to come and see me and discuss my options. He showed me different designs and colours and advised on what would look and work the best for my windows. He was very honest with his recommendations and there was never a hint of 'hard sell' or pushiness in his approach. He provided us with a comprehensive quote and left it with us for us to decide if we wanted to proceed. We booked two have the shutters fitted today, 31st January 2020. Richard and Brian arrived right on time as arranged. Both windows were done and dusted within 3 hours easily and they cleared up extremely well once the job was completed. I absolutely love our new shutters! They look fantastic and have transformed both the rooms they have been fitted in. We had a great experience with Richard. After contacting him for a quote he arrived quickly with examples of shutter types and gave good recommendations. I wanted 4 matching shutters for the front windows of my late Victorian cottage. Richard was so helpful, sorted them all out, and then when they arrived, delivered and installed them. As it is the sort of job that, if not done well, has a daily impact I was nervous that i was making correct choices. They are stunning, easy to use, beautiful to look at, warm, night-light-proof, and sound reducing too. And i can fit my Christmas lights between them and the double glazing as was my priority! Richard designed & installed shutters to 2 of our bedrooms.it was done before the expected date to an extremely high standard.The original budget had no changes which we knew to be a good price having obtained other quotes. He was extremely helpful in giving us advice & explaining how they would operate .We were shown a sample when he came to see us.He was extremely knowledgeable about his trade & came across as a likeable friendly person. I just had RDJ install shutters in my whole house today. I had had 5 estimates before choosing this company who were recommended to me by neighbours. When Richard came round to give me an estimate, he noticed things about the configuration of my windows and walls and doors that none of the other companies seemed to notice and he knew exactly what was going to be required - advising me accordingly. Today, any doubts I had had about having shutters were dispelled. They look wonderful. Richard and Brian are a perfect team and did a fabulous job. They were punctual, professional, genial, helpful and caring. My walls & floors & ceilings are not level at all, yet they worked out a solution for every obstacle. It was obvious that these two gentlemen are highly experienced in this work and it made me feel confident that I had made the right choice. They cleaned up as they went along and ensured that everything was in working order - including checking my telephone and broadband after they needed to move them, and re-positioning both in a much better place! An impressed neighbour has already enquired about them.

We have just had our shutters fitted and they're beautiful. I was worried that they would block some of the light out but quite the opposite, has completely changed the living room flooding it with light. No fuss company in and out wishing two hours and left no mess behind. Would highly recommend them and would most definitely use them again.
