Recharge Renewable Ltd

We had a solar (14 panels) and 20kwh battery installation. Excellent experience from start to finish. Really listened to what we wanted to get out of a solar and battery system. Quote was very quick and reasonably priced. It was set out clearly and was easy to understand. No hard sell. Once we signed there was good communication leading up to installation. Scaffolders did a quick job. And the installation of the solar and battery system went extremely smoothly over a two day period. All the workmen were professional throughout and kept us informed of what was going on. System is up and running as expected. Excellent experience all round and would highly recommend them.

I have used Perry and his team on several occasions and as usual I have received a fast clean and efficient service. The attending electrician was polite friendly and knowledgable. The cost was very reasonable and I have no hesitation in recommending Recharge Renewable and will definitely use them again.

We have had a 12 solar panel and storage battery system fitted. We were extremely pleased with all aspects of Recharge Renewable.....from the initial inquiry to the fitting of the system. The initial quote was good and helped us choose from 5 quotes. The follow up meeting with Perry was clear and comprehensive. That resulted in an adjusted quote that was tailored to meet our requirements and the property. Communication was excellent. The office staff kept us informed throughout from installation dates, the fitting engineer to scaffolding fitting. The team arrived on time and completed the task in 5 hours. They went through everything before starting and were happy to explain and answer questions. They took care while moving through the bungalow and cleared all the rubbish when complete. We were impressed with all aspects of Recharge Renewable from start to finish. We have confidence in our solar system and also knowing that we can rely on help and advice post fitting.

From initial enquiries to completion of the work, Recharge Renewable were excellent. We had many questions before we signed the contract, with changes of panel layout etc. All were dealt with quickly and efficiently by Ollie, Rhian, Louis, Lorna and Tom in the office until we felt we had the best combination of panels and battery. If they lost patience with us I wouldn’t have blamed them but they certainly didn’t show it. Perry came to do the site inspection and patiently answered yet more queries and reassured we went ahead. The date was set and on the Friday before the installation, the scaffolders, MSS from Bristol, arrived taking about an hour to finish the erection which they did very efficiently. On installation day the team from Recharge Renewable arrived promptly, introduced themselves and shook hands. They were unfailingly courteous, efficient and worked together smoothly as a team. They kept us informed as to progress, letting us know when the power was going to be cut off and warning when loud drilling was imminent. They really could not have been better and they cleared up as they went and left very little evidence that a group of men had been working inside and outside of the house all day long. I can thoroughly recommend Recharge Renewable. The work done is exactly as we hoped it would be and there was even a slight reduction in cost because something planned was not actually needed.

Work done: 16 solar panels on a 3 storey building with inverter, battery storage and emergency power supply. Timescale: 4 months though 2 and a half were discussions and my decision making. Install took a day and a half From initial discussions with Recharge Renewables (RR) to final sign off I have been very impressed. I'm quite technically minded so the home visit allowed me to ask all the questions I needed to. After that any emails were answered quickly or someone would hop on a phone to talk to me. Options were made clear. Decisions were made and away we went. Scaffolding went up after some discussion as it is very difficult to get access to the back garden. Decision quickly made that all of the work could be done from scaffolding only at the front. The day of the install was fantastic. Everyone did their thing with little input from me apart from supplying beverages on what was a very hot day! A couple of options were sorted quickly such as the location of the EPS and some wiring options. Minimal disruption to me as I work from home. Any power outages were agreed in advance so really convenient. Post install we had a couple of issues connecting to the monitoring and control tech but RR lead on resolving that with Solis, the equipment manufacturer. I was given clear instructions on what were my tasks to do such as talking to the power company. Everything else was smoothly handled by RR. I'm not sure it could have gone better and would highly recommend RR

The whole process was smooth and hiccough free. All of the team we dealt with; Tom, Laura, Perry, Harrison and Reuben were really nice professional people and made the installation completely stress free from beginning to end. I can't praise them all highly enough and would recommend Recharge Renewable to anyone.

Recharge Renewable team were fantastic from day one that I contacted them. They gave great advice on what would suit our needs. The price for the total installation of panels inverter and battery was great. The guys that came out and installed were great hard working in all the heat wave, all fitted in 2 days and working. They cleaned the whole site and left no mess. I would recommend them every time

The whole journey with Recharge Renewable from initial design, to scaffolding, panel & battery installation and after care has been fantastic. After a few initial quotes and designs, some from the big utility companies, I felt that RR were the only company willing to look at the design in detail and tailor it to our property and budget. We utilised two different roof layouts and split our system to maximise exposure. Perry's design also took into account a large tree in our garden (tpo protected) and using shade optimisers to make the panels efficient during the lower winter sun. The Installation was started by scaffolding going up on day 1 and the contractors used for this were friendly, polite and tidy. Day 2/3 was the panel and battery installation and we had a very hot couple of days. The RR team were again fantastic. No complaints from them, just plenty of water (and sun cream) and they cracked on with the installation again showing a professional and can do attitude. All the guys once more very friendly and explained what they were doing throughout the install. Post installation we have now received all of our paperwork, manuals and MCS etc. The office have been chasing up National Grid recently too for DNO confirmation. I also feel that any questions we may have, the support will continue. I would have no reservations in recommending RR, thank you to everyone involved! Sam, EX15

When I first spoke with Perry about the possibility of having batteries installed he was brilliant nothing was too much trouble and everything was explained and easy to understand. We had the batteries fitted back in November 2025, the team arrived early and ready to go considering they came from Bristol to Plymouth I was impressed. Tom was very polite and definitely knew his stuff, they were efficient, keen and helpful and very professional. Since the time of installation my electricity bills has dropped dramatically, we have a hybrid vehicle and using Octopus cheap overnight energy our petrol bills have also dropped. I cannot say how grateful we are to Perry and his team at Recharge Renewable Thanks to all.

Perry and his team did an awesome job fitting and installing my new solar panels and battery. From the initial call to a visit from Perry to installation day, everything went smoothly and was well explained. Even the scaffolders were lovely! I had three initial quotes. I fed all three into AI and asked it to analyse and suggest the best offer. It came back with Recharge Renewable. A couple of days later I got a call asking if I was ready to proceed. I still wasn't sure. They advised that I could now get a bigger 10kw battery for LESS than the original quote! It was a no-brainer from there. As a single house-owner, it's a big investment. But I already feel rather satisfied knowing that I'm not paying for any electric and even making some money feeding it back to the grid. If you're in the South West, I highly recommend Perry and his team.

We had Recharge Renewables design and install solar panels, batteries and an EV charger in May 2025. I reached out to some larger firms, but they seemed to just want to up sell. Recharge Renewable did not do this. The team were friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. There was no pressure and talked us through all of the process. They arrived on time on the day of the install, and completed the work in 2 days. The system is reliable and has been installed to a high standard. I have been sent certificates including electrical sign off, MCS certificate and the G99 confirmation. If I could offer advice to anyone considering getting solar panels, batteries and or an EV. Yes it’s worth it, do your research and choose a reputable firm like Recharge Renewables to do the install. I would stay away from the government-funded schemes. Done properly, it’s a fantastic investment.

Recharge Renewable provided an Extremely professional service from start to finish. Installation went smoothly and was very neat and tidy, the installation team were super friendly and helpful throughout the process. Would 100% recommend to anyone thinking of having solar panels fitted. They should change their name to solar stars as that is what they are in my opinion.

Thank you. Perry and team You did a fantastic job fitting and installing my new solar panels and battery in Cheddar. From my first enquiry, I couldn’t fault Recharge Renewable. From the competitive quote right through to final commissioning, the Company was a delight to work with. I was also grateful for the lengthy face-to-face with Perry, where we discussed all aspects of my solar panel / battery installation. I was especially impressed with the way in which the Company handled changes - like adding a further couple of panels, at the last minute. Like other reviewers have said:, “If you're in the South West, and your in the market for solar PV, I highly recommend Perry and his team”. I have already recommended Recharge Renewable to friends - hope something comes of it.
