I contacted Lee in January to look at a room in roof job at my house. He was in the middle of a job but came over, but when there said he was in fact not there to give a quote but rather to "have a look". He gave me a rough estimate and told me that he'd need to come back with proper measuring tools to give me a quote, but I should also make sure to speak to multiple contractors to make sure nobody was out of line. So far so good. After speaking to others I followed up repeatedly. No response. Called, he didn't pick up. Texted, no response. It was annoying but I gave him the benefit of the doubt because of good reviews. Finally in May I called and got him on the phone. At the time he could barely remember the detail (I had to remind him of the ballpark estimate he gave me, for example). In any case he said he was busy and probably couldn't come for a few months but that he had a job nearby and might be able to come in the next few weeks. All fine(ish): I wasn't in a rush and preferred to have all quotes, plus he had good reviews. I texted him two weeks later to see. No response. I waited through the summer and followed up via text, twice. Silence. Not even an acknowledgement. Eventually I texed that I found his unresponsiveness to be unprofessional and rude, at which point he did respond, saying that he's busy and "that's life". I only interacted with this guy because of his good reviews. Hopefully i can save others the pain. Customers don't deserve to be disrespected.
