Alex was very communicative throughout the whole process of replastering and repairing sections of plaster in our house. He provided a reasonable quote quickly and arranged for the work to start. His workers were extremely efficient, respectful and tidied up after themselves while taking care to protect our furniture and belongings. They also filled a number of other small cracks that we hadn't even noticed previously. Thanks so much!

Alex & his team worked at our home over a 6-month period from late 2023 to mid-2024. The job involved a rear & side ground floor extension to our Victorian home along with a comprehensive ground floor renovation to create a large open plan kitchen-lounge-dining space, downstairs toilet and hallway. Right from the initial quote I felt Alex’s approach & communication were honest, reasonable and detailed. Costs & payment dates were clearly structured, extras (of which I requested several) were fairly addressed. I found the work to be of a high quality and am certainly happy to recommend them.

Excellent service from Alex and his team. They are very busy and work could only start a few months after assessment and pricing, but the estimated start date was spot-on. The rendering itself was problematic because of the nature of historic rendering, so it was a lengthier job removing the existing rendering and replacing and reconstructing some degraded brickwork. Alex liaised frequently and ensured we could see what were the problems and what would happen each day. The team themselves worked assiduously and for long hours, sometimes in semi-darkness, to ensure they finished before Xmas. And the outcome? The facade now looks great. Marginal snags with one of the windows: quickly resolved but we were asked to withhold full payment until they were resolved. That really was good customer service. So the headlines are: excellent advice and on-going liaison; hard-working and tidy team on site; unexpected problems resolved effectively; completion on time; fair price and very good value for money. Reliable Builders are a pleasure to work with.

Great from start to finish. It was a relatively small job for them I’d imagine, but they were in constant communication about what was needed and gave us good advice on how to solve ventilation issues. He broke down his quote so we could pick which bits we wanted to do. Then was flexible with us when we found issues along the way - suggesting solutions and resolving it in a way we were happy with. Work completed to a high standard. Also would stay to get things finished in a day rather than leave at 3pm, as other builders we used would. Meant it finished bang on time. Would not use anyone else now. Excellent throughout.

Right from the word go Alex and the team have been great! In the early stages, Alex was very helpful in the discussions with the architect. During the building work, the builders were very tidy with their work and it was completed on time within the initial quoted 4 months to a high standard. We had two young children at the time and the kids were excited to get waves and smiles from the builders each morning which made the disruption of building work much easier to manage. We would certainly recommend them to anyone having an extension done

I cannot speak highly enough of Alex and his team. The project undertaken was extensive, a loft conversion, remodelling of the first floor, side extension and underfloor heating installation. Everything was completed to a high standard, within the agreed budget for each part of the project. As with any project of this scale, snags happened. Even months after the work was completed any issue that has arisen has been quickly rectified. I would not hesitate to use their services again.

I’m very happy from my overall experience with Reliable Builders. It helped to receive an itemised quote which tracked as expected as work progressed. Extensive photos from the roof work ‘before, during and completed,’ provided reassurance. All work was completed to a high standard and they offered advice and solutions for damp issues and to hide a problematic internal water meter. The team are polite, clean & tidy and clearly made progress each day. I have recommended Reliable Builders to neighbours & friends & will be contacting them again in future for other building work. Can’t rate Reliable Builders any higher. Put simply they did what they say they would do, to a high standard, and with great care for our house and our family. We had an extension to expand our kitchen and dining room and add a utility and downstairs bathroom. Alex quoted us a really good price, started quickly, and worked with us throughout to make the new rooms amazing. Even our neighbours have been round to compliment the quality of the extension and in particular the brickwork. Can’t thank Alex and his team enough and they are top of the list for any future work we need.

Alex gave us a competitive quote and indeed was willing to take on work others weren't keen to do (sorting out a previously botched job). He was knowledgeable, personable and straightforward to deal with and we liked the team of builders very much. Friendly but not intrusive bearing in mind we both work from home. Very good finish. There were invariably extras but it was always clear why and what we were paying for (buildings regs compliance). Some things were thrown in. The snagging has been completed and we've moved into the space. We're about to ask him to quote for another big job.

Alex and his team were a pleasure to work with. They are responsive and efficient with a problem solving approach. I am very happy with the quality of the work.
