AmpGuard were contracted nine years ago by the builder who did our extension. Amp Guard were responsible for all the electrical work and did an excellent job. Recently we required a number of electrical refurbishments to be done such as replacing outside lighting back and front of the house, updating a number of sockets throughout the house to incorporate USB outlets and replacing the shower fan light with a mixed flow unit and replace the illuminated bathroom mirror. With us being satisfied with his previous work we contacted Richard Kyme at Amp Guard who provided us with a full quote for this work. Richard attended punctually and carried out the work again with great efficiency and was very tidy throughout his work. Whilst carrying out the work in the bathroom Richard discovered that the existing wiring for the bathroom lighting and extractor fan had been left in a very dangerous condition including not being earthed by previous electricians we had used. Richard took pictures and explained in detail what he had found and potential consequences. Richard was able to do the corrective work for us expeditiously as it was clear he was also concerned at the safety risk to us. All the work was carried out as requested and we are grateful for the efficient and timely manner in which this was done and Richard is clearly knowledgable about his work. On the basis of our two experiences we would highly recommend AmpGuard to others.
