Great service from Green Planet and a good price. Needed five trees and a bush in front and back gardens trimmed and ready for next spring. Not only did Paul do a great job in trimming and tidying the trees, he also assessed the health of the trees and cut them back in a way that encourages growth and good tree health. A good, reliable and professional service all round. Recommended.

We had a large Ash tree in the back garden that had early stages of Ash die back. From the initial contact, Rich and the team were very helpful. Following the written quote, Rich dealt with the Council planning permission as the tree had a TPO. The team arrived on time on the agreed date and explained in detail their 'plan of action". It was very interesting watching Paul and Guy at work and it was clear they knew their stuff. They were also patient in answering my various and numerous questions during the job!. Once the tree was down and logged the clear up was first class. All in all a professional job from start to finish.

The third time that I have used this company Paul and Guy did an excellent job and left everything very clean and tidy. Very satisfactory estimate which was kept to. Looking forward to using them again next year

Would not hesitate to recommend Green Planet Tree Services. We just had them do a crown reduction on a very overgrown Holm Oak. Rich was generous with his advice prior to appointment and he is extremely knowledgable. The advice was based on the health of the tree and its wildlife inhabitants. We were very confident they would do a good job and they did. Very efficient and very tidy. They left our driveway tidier than they found it and the tree looks nice and healthy. We are very pleased and hope to have Green Planet back when necessary.

I employed Rich from Green Planet to fell 3 overgrown conifers in my garden and advise on a third tree. He came out to survey the work the day after speaking to him on the phone and was able to carry out the work the following week. He and his colleague were professional and knowledgeable. The work did not take long, they took away the debris and used a leaf blower to clear up as best they could. I would happily use them again if required.

This was the second time that I had used Green Planet for work. As before, the result was as I had expected. All requirements were met and everything was left clean and tidy. I chose Green planet because of their positive approach to tree management. I required a crown reduction on our beautiful mature copper beech, and (sadly) our old rowan tree needed to be brought down to a safe height. Rich's cost assessment for this work was reasonable. It was carried out by two highly professional tree surgeons, with skill and consideration for the trees they worked on. I would highly recommend.

Rich and his team have looked after the trees on the communal areas of our small estate of residences for several years. Many of our trees are magnificent old cedars, and all the trees have protection orders on them, so work must be done with great care. Following the recent storms, one of the cedars was damaged by the high winds, with several branches torn and blown down and one left hanging in the tree, just above a car parking area. Because of the health and safety risk, this caused, it was urgent for us to have an assessment of the safety of the hanging branch and have it removed. This week, and many times in the past following storm damage, Rich has gone out of his way to respond quickly, has seen to the tree damage, cleared up afterwards, and removed the health and safety risk to our residents. We cannot recommend Green Planet highly enough. Their knowledge and love of trees is astounding, and they have skillfully helped us maintain the shape and beauty of our trees. They now know our trees well and offer valuable guidance about work needed in the short and longer term, so we can plan and budget. Their work is undertaken on time and to budget, and their communication always friendly and efficient. It is a genuine pleasure to work with such professionals and to know we can completely trust their work.

The Silver Birch had grown in an "unruly" way, partially due to a poor crown reduction some years earlier, and it had become very large. We wanted the tree size noticeably reduced but were keen for it not to "look odd" after. Richard's advice was clear about what he considered could be done, and provided a written quotation very promptly. He called at the house again around the intended time with Paul, an Arborist on the team to review the tree and plan the work. They expressed concern that the sap was running very strongly and might stress the tree. It was agreed to delay the work from early March until August to protect the tree. The work started in August as planned and was undertaken with great skill. The volume of the tree was reduced without detriment to the shape, which was not only maintained but enhanced with Guy in the tree and Paul directing the cutting from the ground and clearing the debris. It was a big job, the work was completed in about 6 hours from start and the site left spotless. The whole team have a great understanding of and compassion for the trees, clearly enjoy their work, are concerned for the long term welfare and management of the trees and are able to communicate well with the customer. I have no hesitation in recommending Richard Price and the team for such work. It was completed on time, to cost and plan. Very professional outfit.
