With a large dollop of trepidation, we began the journey of replacing our old, worn out kitchen. After trawling around many outlets and showrooms, we decided on R&R, following an initial contact visit with Daniel in the showroom. From that first meeting, armed with ideas, prices, choices of appliances and a myriad of other stuff, we took the plunge. We would like to thank Daniel for his unending patience, help and advice. Joel, Lawrence and Simon who began work each morning at 8 am and at the end of the day, made sure everything was left as clean and tidy as possible. Chris the electrician, Carl the plasterer who came out on a Sunday morning to undertake an extra job , Magnificent Matt and Alfie here one evening until 7pm when our boiler decided to play up. And finally to the ever resourceful Rick, trouble shooter extraordinaire for whom nothing was too problematic, who made sure the job was kept to the allotted time scale. We love our new, high quality, kitchen - its an absolute joy. We have already recommended R&R to friends and acquaintances and will continue to sing the praises of this highly efficient and professional company. Thanks everyone for a job extremely well done.

The service we received was excellent. From our initial enquiry and quotation Daniel was helpful and informative, listened to our comments and needs. We were provided with a comprehensive quote and 3D render of the designs for thebathroom and ensuite. The final rooms look exactly like the plans. The team that carried out the work was also excellent, Joel kept us informed on progress daily and fixing any problems quickly. Everything was done on schedule and sometimes even a few days early. These are big and disruptive projects, but the team made everything as smooth as possible so I couldn't recommend them highly enough.

We recently had our bedroom and ensuite bathroom designed and installed by Richard & Richard’s Design & Installation Specialists Ltd. Daniel did the design for us. He came to measure up and listened to our ideas and needs. The design that Daniel created for us was brilliant. He designed both the bedroom and ensuite to be contemporary, modern and included all the items on our wish list. We were able to choose wardrobes, bathroom fixtures & fittings, flooring and wall tiles all under one roof at their premises in Pear Mill, Stockport. The installation team were excellent. They were hardworking, skilled and a pleasure to have in our home. The team cleaned up at the end of each day and were so tidy! The quality of their workmanship was exemplary. We had a couple of small issues along the way which were dealt with quickly and efficiently. We would highly recommend Richard & Richard’s Design & Installation Specialists Ltd, in fact we already have!

This team are exceptionally good. I am not prone to hyperbole, but I recommend them on so many levels. To begin with, they are highly professional - supervised by the ever-conscientious (and very hard working and able) Rick, the young-ish workers applied themselves skillfully and diligently. The input the firm provided over the design and major refurbishments to my kitchen, sitting room, and two bathrooms was both inspiring and impressively accomplished. On the design/co-ordinating front, Ben was highly creative and thoughtful (and patient!) and judged the degree of consultation and 'going ahead' (there were so many decisions to be taken) just right. On top of all of this, the team are personable and good to be around - a blessing when for a while I had to live with them cheek-by-jowl on what was effectively a building site. The result: a wonderfully transformed home and a very satisfied and grateful me.

I’m actually a returning customer this time around, having had the team fit my kitchen a couple of years ago. Before I’d thought to check whether R&R did bathrooms too, I’d visited the usual high street brands, and either felt disappointed by the choices or [helpfully, actually] just told that my ideas and vision were not in their capabilities! I knew Daniel from the kitchen job I’d had done, so knew I was going to experience no pressure - he just listened to my ideas and offered his creativity and ideas right when they were needed. He’s got a real flare for getting you to that final design, when you’ve only got the key ideas in your head. My ideas needed guidance - I ran the risk quite heavily of the finished job not being right, being as bold as they were! You get a bit nervous when you can’t find a single result on Google to describe what you’re imagining(!) So many thanks Daniel - Rick - the great team of lads who represented them so well - and various others who I know took a keen interest in nailing this (e.g. my obsession with getting lighting just right, that needed assistance too!). Great team, great result, great experience, great big pain that I now can’t stand my en suite. Guess I’ll see you soon chaps ;-) (And to the casual reader, to prove my point about the madness of my design, I can’t even put a name to it, to point out which picture it is above! The jungle… cave… spa? You can see why I’m buzzing about the result)

We had our kitchen and utility room designed and professionally installed by Richards and Richards around 7 years ago. Everyone was super friendly, incredibly patient as we made constant changes, and very professional. Ricky and Dan in particular were so helpful throughout the process, communication was excellent and the whole project went seamlessly well. Thanks to Rick who fitted all the quality units and appliances our kitchen looks as good now seven years on as it did after installation. We recently had a problem with the kitchen tap which was making a loud air like sound when we flushed the upstairs toilet. We don't know any plumbers so I rang Richards and Richards to see if they could recommend anyone. Ricky told me he would get Rick to pop in and have a look as he was working in our area. Sure enough within a few days Rick called round, diagnosed the fault and returned the next day to effect a permanent repair. What fantastic service! Even more incredible was that no charge was made for the repair when we called in the office to settle the bill! It's no wonder this company has gone from strength to strength and increased it's workforce to cope with the high demand for quality products and workmanship at a competitive price. We have no hesitation in recommending Richards and Richards should you be thinking about having a new kitchen or bathroom installed. We are thinking of having a new downstairs toilet fitted in the New Year and we will calling Ricky for a quotation.

We required two new bathrooms to be installed on a high floor in a city centre apartment building, which we thought may be a problem as some tradesmen don’t like the aggravation of working in town, or in apartment buildings where it’s more problematic transporting materials and getting parked, and where having a skip to haul rubbish away isn’t possible. However, on a recommendation from a neighbour, we approached R&R, who were quite happy to do the whole turnkey project. Initially we had a couple of design meetings before signing off on everything, and then they ripped out the old and put in the new. The installation was completed in time and with very little hassle. The end result was far better than we had expected, and it all came in under budget. We have renovated a ruin in Spain and a barn in the UK, and installed new kitchens in properties, but we have never worked with a better team than R&R. Good design, stress free installation, and an end product that bettered our expectations, all under budget. What’s not to like? From our experience we would be happy to recommend them for any design and build project. Frankly, given the work we’ve done in the past, I wish we’d met them earlier.

R & R designed and installed my bathroom a few years ago and they were my first choice when it came to a new kitchen. Daniel designed and managed the whole project after talking it through with me: no ‘hard sell’ here but listening and suggesting options until we arrived at the perfect solution. There was regular communication with me throughout and once again the results are brilliant - just what I wanted. All the team at R & R are exceptional but I have to thank Simon especially for his fantastic craftsmanship in the installation. I also appreciated the careful and tidy way everything was left at the end of each day, which minimised disruption. All the different trades were great and arrived/completed work to the schedule Daniel managed. The extra building work involved (moving windows) was achieved efficiently and as with the kitchen installation, to a very high standard. I have no hesitation in recommending Richard & Richard’s: they work incredibly hard, taking a great pride in all aspects of each project. This is a company you can trust completely.

Having used Richard and Richards last year (2022) for design and installation of the kitchen (installed by Lawrence and Simon, so professional), we went straight back to them for the design and installation of our shower room. Both projects were managed by Ben, who listened to what we were striving for and understood our budget). Everything was thoroughly explained to us and the video of the design was extremely helpful. The budget was spot on, no hidden extras and the schedule went perfectly to plan. Rick and Joel did the installation, incredibly professional, and answered any/many questions we had, they kept us informed of the work done and at the end of each day left everywhere tidy. Richard and Richards have impressive customer service and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

Richards & Richards provided an excellent design, fitting and Project Management service for a new bathroom in a tenanted house. They were always professional, helpful and easy to get hold of. The work was undertaken to time and when issues arose they were addressed promptly and efficiently. The quality of work was excellent and the price less than agreed, due some items not being necessary. Overall it was a pleasure working with them.
