I contacted the firm regarding a defunct water feature, which, when switched on, cut the power to our house. Patrick called to assess, gave us good advice on replacement parts needed, and then came back to fit the new pump and cable. This was not some anonymous electrician from a big firm: Patrick is a thoroughly helpful, experienced and knowledgable individual who clearly takes a personal interest and pride in his work. The final bill exactly reflected the firm's initial quotation, which I considered a very fair price for the work. Very happy to recommend.

We recently had an EV charger installed and some other smaller jobs completed by Patrick. From quote, to booking in the works, to completion was all very organised and smooth and the works completed in a really tidy and efficient manner. Highly recommend and we wouldn't hesitate to use again if we need work in the future.

Double plug socket problem. I thought that the appliance plugged in was the problem since it gave a flash and bang as it tripped the fuses. Phoned and since this socket wasn't in use booked for a few days later. Patrick phoned day before to double check symptoms and asked some questions which led him to believe it was the socket that needed changing. He had done some work for me 2 or 3 years ago and he remembered the style (Georgian brass). When he came next day the problem was indeed the socket and he had brought a replacement with him in the van. So fitted and all sorted with one trip. He also thought that the appliance would still be fine so we checked and it was (I was going to buy replacement).

I suspect the work on our alarm system was simple enough for a professional like Patrick, but it was successfully completed with confidence, without fuss, on time, and as quoted. What more could be asked? We wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

Patrick backed by Tracey in the office did excellent work for us this summer. He changed a single lighting point in our lounge into eight spotlights. This involved cutting a lot of access points between rafters then infilling them with plasterboard. Patrick did this so neatly and carefully we couldn't see where the work was done and that was before the decorating. He also put up anti-pigeon spikes on our roof, going up very high indeed to get access. Administration and communication were great throughout. Well worth the price!

Patrick came on time & completed the work replacing outdoor lights and doorbell. He had given us an estimate for the work with a clear explanation of what it would entail. The final payment was exactly what had been quoted & we were delighted with the results

Richmond Services responded to my email query very promptly and set up a home visit within a few days. They arrived punctually and were polite and friendly throughout the repair job. The approach was thoughtful and careful, and the repair was done to a high quality. They clearly take pride in what they do. The cost was reasonable and I will definitely use them again.

Various electrical works were carried out in our house. Patrick gave us a good estimate and arranged a time and date to carry out the work. He arrived on time and carried out the work. At all times he was very polite and courteous and tidy. He did a good job, and I would have no hesitation in recommending him and using him in the future.

The service from Patrick of Richmond Services was excellent, before and during the work. Everything was done to schedule and budget and fully explained at all stages. Patrick Richmond is our go-to guy for both electrical and general trades projects around the house. We have used RESGM a number of times over recent years and have always been pleased at both the planning and execution of each requirement. Patrick is both an experienced tradesperson and an expert in so many areas of home improvement.

I've used Patrick as an electrician 3 times in the last 3 years and he can always be relied upon to do a first class job. He isn't cheap but you get what you pay for.

I had a lot of "little" things that needed doing, refixing and restringing a curtain rail, easing a door, replacing worn out door locks, fixing an extractor fan, sorting bathroom lights, cutting an access hatch for a drain. Nothing was too small a job and they were all completed quickly and efficiently. Patrick cleared up so well you couldn't tell he had been! I hate having people in the house, but Patrick was efficient, friendly and knowledgeable. He was able to offer longer term solutions on a couple of issues we had. Thoroughly recommended!

Richmond Electrical Services were able to attend to repair a circuit fault within three days of being contacted, and carried it out professionally and courteously, at a reasonable price. They were recommended to me by neighbours,. and I have since recommended them to friends as being first-class electricians.

Richmond Services are very easy to deal with, Tracy does the appointments and Patrick carries out the work - all so streamlined and efficient! Patrick was on time, clean and tidy, and the standard was very good. He fitted some curtain poles, blinds, repaired a window sill, and fitted some wall lights. It was quick, and not disruptive at all. It was on the slightly pricier side of tradesman costs, but I know costs are rising for everyone and you do get what you pay for!

We had a socket not working and a recently installed hob needed wiring up (I thought the kitchen fitters did that when fitting the worktop but apparently not). We therefore needed a swift response and Patrick was able to call round that same afternoon so that we had the hob working before the Easter holidays.

We have been really impressed with Patrick's attention to detail, when he came to price up the job, he looked at each task I had and gave careful consideration to his suggestions giving me great confidence that I was in safe hands. Each task (lights under cupboards, new ceiling lights, new sockets, points for Oven and other appliances) we discussed options and Patrick was able to recommend the best solution, some of which I hadn't considered. He even sorted the wiring in the house as he had identified an issue when replacing the consumer unit. The work was done in stages as the kitchen evolved and at the end of each visit the kitchen was left clean and tidy.
