Being new to the area, we were fortunate to come across Richmond so early. Tracy in the Office and then Patrick with the work, seamlessly worked around their holiday and a fatal car crash in their back garden to get what we wanted done quickly and perfectly, despite us changing the spec a little as the work progressed.

I couldn't recommend Richmond services more highly! Mr Richmond answered my call promptly and managed to complete the job of fitting an integrated oven the very same day! He was obviously very skilled at his work, understanding immediately what needed to be done, which wasn't straight forward! He informed me of the very reasonable cost right from the beginning and explained the process clearly as he worked. I was very thankful to have such a trustworthy, polite and helpful person to do the job.

We have been fortunate to have been abe to call on a trusted local electrician for services at our house for the last 25 years. He has now retired and a number of recent minor electrical problems, prompted us to try and find an electrician locally , who could provide us with a similar reliable service. Searching the local Focus trade booklet , we chose this company, as they are located within 10 miles of our house, and their advert suggested a small established business, which we preferred. We have received efficient and encouraging response to our contacts, and the work done including that detailed above, which was for the complete replacement of a cooking oven element, entirely satisfactory.

Arrived during the stated timeframe, and assessed the work required quickly, offering it be carried out immediately, or at any other convenient time. I gave Richmond electrical services a call when my home developed an electrical problem and the electric kept tripping out. They were able to come the next day and sorted the issue very quickly. I felt the service was extremely good so requested a price to fit an outside socket, again they were very efficient in sending the estimate through and l was able to book into have the work done very easily. I would use Richmond electrical services again without hesitation and would recommend them 100%.

Richmond services carried out a full electrical installation inspection and subsequently fitted a new consumer unit (fuse box). All work was done efficiently and professionally and, unlike with some traders, no attempt was made to sell me services that were not necessary. I have found Richmond services to be extremely trustworthy and excellent value for money. As such I would highly recommend.

A simple job requiring the replacement of the heating element of a towel rail. We have now used Patrick four times on tasks of varied complexity. That, in itself, shows how good he must be. He was originally recommended to us by an elderly neighbour who was hugely impressed and grateful for his positive approach and willingness to go above and beyond the originally-quoted job. He is a delightful chap whom we recommend in the strongest possible terms. You won’t find a better one!

I contacted the firm regarding a defunct water feature, which, when switched on, cut the power to our house. Patrick called to assess, gave us good advice on replacement parts needed, and then came back to fit the new pump and cable. This was not some anonymous electrician from a big firm: Patrick is a thoroughly helpful, experienced and knowledgable individual who clearly takes a personal interest and pride in his work. The final bill exactly reflected the firm's initial quotation, which I considered a very fair price for the work. Very happy to recommend.
