Richmond Services

We have used Richmond Services for a variety of jobs, and on this occasion, as before, have been very pleased with the work Mr Richmond has done. He is generous with his time and advice, and is willing to ' go the extra mile', as when finding time during the recent job to complete for us a more challenging electrical installation. We would highly recommend him, and his wife, who looks after the administrative arrangements, and would not hesitate to use Richmond Services again.

The service from Patrick of Richmond Services was excellent, before and during the work. Everything was done to schedule and budget and fully explained at all stages. The job was first class and we are very happy with the result. We would have no hesitation in recommending him to others and have done so since.

Patrick Richmond is our go-to guy for both electrical and general trades projects around the house. We have used RESGM a number of times over recent years and have always been pleased at both the planning and execution of each requirement. Patrick is both an experienced tradesperson and an expert in so many areas of home improvement.

I've used Patrick as an electrician 3 times in the last 3 years and he can always be relied upon to do a first class job. He isn't cheap but you get what you pay for.

I had a lot of "little" things that needed doing, refixing and restringing a curtain rail, easing a door, replacing worn out door locks, fixing an extractor fan, sorting bathroom lights, cutting an access hatch for a drain. Nothing was too small a job and they were all completed quickly and efficiently. Patrick cleared up so well you couldn't tell he had been! I hate having people in the house, but Patrick was efficient, friendly and knowledgeable. He was able to offer longer term solutions on a couple of issues we had. Thoroughly recommended!

Richmond Electrical Services were able to attend to repair a circuit fault within three days of being contacted, and carried it out professionally and courteously, at a reasonable price. They were recommended to me by neighbours,. and I have since recommended them to friends as being first-class electricians.

Richmond Services are very easy to deal with, Tracy does the appointments and Patrick carries out the work - all so streamlined and efficient! Patrick was on time, clean and tidy, and the standard was very good. He fitted some curtain poles, blinds, repaired a window sill, and fitted some wall lights. It was quick, and not disruptive at all. It was on the slightly pricier side of tradesman costs, but I know costs are rising for everyone and you do get what you pay for!

Good communications, prompt attention and did the job efficiently. Was helpful with regard to solutions

We had a socket not working and a recently installed hob needed wiring up (I thought the kitchen fitters did that when fitting the worktop but apparently not). We therefore needed a swift response and Patrick was able to call round that same afternoon so that we had the hob working before the Easter holidays.

The advice, quote, work and overall service from Patrick were of the highest standard, thank you. Contact from the offices was timely and positive. Highly recommended.

We have been really impressed with Patrick's attention to detail, when he came to price up the job, he looked at each task I had and gave careful consideration to his suggestions giving me great confidence that I was in safe hands. Each task (lights under cupboards, new ceiling lights, new sockets, points for Oven and other appliances) we discussed options and Patrick was able to recommend the best solution, some of which I hadn't considered. He even sorted the wiring in the house as he had identified an issue when replacing the consumer unit. The work was done in stages as the kitchen evolved and at the end of each visit the kitchen was left clean and tidy. In summary, we are delighted with the work and have no hesitation in recommending Patrick and Richmond Electrical Services.

Richmond services did the electrical installation and full testing for the extension on our property dovetailing in perfectly with other trades. They were punctual, meticulous and professional at all times and their communications were excellent. Neat and tidy installation of a heated bathroom towel rail and replacement more powerful shower fan. Would certainly consider using their services again for further electrical work.

Patrick was very helpful and worked all day, each day without a break. He was very tidy and considerate of my home. He installed a number of downlights, electric sockets, garden lights and garage lights all without damaging the ceilings or walls. Very friendly and helpful Receptionist (Mrs Richmond) she organised Mr Richmond the electrician to come to give an estimate the same evening. I had told Mrs Richmond that we had a decorator coming in two weeks time and we needed the electric work doing before then. An acceptable estimate was given and a date was arranged - being fitted-in to a busy schedule. Mr Richmond arrived promptly and did a superb job working efficiently. He removed two wall lights, centre lights and put in another socket. He worked very tidily. I would definitely recommend Richmond Services.

Took out our old fridge and replaced with built in cupboard. As always prompt and efficient service. Have also had gutter work and toilet repairs. Can thoroughly recommend.

My dealings with Richmond Services has been a positive one. Tracy's communications have been prompt and professional and Patrick arrived at the agreed date and time on both visits to my home. The quote given was the agreed price on completion of the job. Patrick was able to reduce the creaking floorboards greatly, with only very slight remaining but this was due to pipework being directly underneath. We are very pleased with the result and can now have new carpets fitted. I would recommend Richmond Services to others and would use their services again in the future.
