Patrick Richmond is our go-to guy for both electrical and general trades projects around the house. We have used RESGM a number of times over recent years and have always been pleased at both the planning and execution of each requirement. Patrick is both an experienced tradesperson and an expert in so many areas of home improvement.

Richmond Services are very easy to deal with, Tracy does the appointments and Patrick carries out the work - all so streamlined and efficient! Patrick was on time, clean and tidy, and the standard was very good. He fitted some curtain poles, blinds, repaired a window sill, and fitted some wall lights. It was quick, and not disruptive at all. It was on the slightly pricier side of tradesman costs, but I know costs are rising for everyone and you do get what you pay for!

Replaced kitchen drawers. Have used several times. Always prompt efficient service. Reasonably priced. Helpful.

I have used Richmond Services for several years now and have always had impeccable service from them. On this occasion Patrick did some electrical installations and some odd jobs such as picture hanging and adjustments to some furniture. As ever, Patrick explained what he was doing and left after having removed all evidence of any work having been done.

Genuine five star service. Quick diagnosis and resolution to domestic electrical fault that shut down entire home electrics. Very high quality of work. Very personable and friendly. Goes well beyond the extra mile. No hesitation in recommending them as top quality electrician and support service.

The work I needed to be done was: 1. To fit an electrical socket half way down my long garden 2. Glue a broken slat in one of my teak garden chairs 3. Power-wash my 2 patios and 3 Crete planters Andrew Richmond is a very pleasant person, arrived on time and spent 4 hours in my garden taking care of all 3 points mentioned above. He is extremely professional and it is obvious he takes great care to do an excellent job. For 4 hours work, the invoice was, in my book, good value for what he achieved. I am completely satisfied with the work done and won't hesitate to engage him again when I have other jobs requiring attention.

We needed final sign off for all of our electrical work in the house, prior to selling. Having been let down by previous electricians, we got in touch with Richmond Services and agreed a date and time for him to carry out the work. It was a nice surprise when Patrick turned up at the agreed date and time and carried out the work efficiently and quickly (not something we had experienced with other Electricians). His knowledge and experience were clear (even to me and I know nothing about electrical work), he explained the process and what he was doing. As we should be moving shortly, we will definitely be making use of Patrick's services in the future.

I have boarded over fake beams in my lounge and took the opportunity to add some Down-lighters. Richmond carried out the work initially doing a 1st fix prior to boarding of the ceiling and returned as planned to do the 2nd fix. The price quoted was the price invoiced and is good value in my opinion. Initially, I went with Richmond because they were one of the few, out of several electricians I contacted, who actually responded and quoted, that being said I am very satisfied with the work and will be using their services again

Excellent service and advice. They came to do one straightforward PAT testing job which led to three others which were not related but needed to be sorted immediately as we had a tenant about to move in! All were resolved to our complete satisfaction, Patrick could not have been more helpful and also gave us some very good advice. We would not hesitate to recommend him and will most certainly use his services again.

Myself and other family members have been using Richmond Services for a while now for a range of different jobs from electrical to general DIY and home maintenance. Patrick is reliable and on time and does a good job whilst also providing really useful advice on a whole range of home maintenance related matters and he is very knowledgeable which we really value. We also feel that he is honest and tells us when he thinks that a job or a task could be completed by another tradesperson for a cheaper price or better than him - we appreciate this rather than accept work. I needed a security light wiring in to the lighting circuit. I had already attempted it myself and connected wiring and junction boxes but the wiring to the switch was not straightforward and not being a professional I thought I had better call one! I called on Richmond Services on Thursday and Patrick came the following Tuesday. I did not think anyone would respond for such a small job but Patrick rang me the same day I enquired to ask details and give me an estimate. He was very prompt on the day and explained exactly where I had gone wrong and what he needed to do. The work was finished quickly and within estimate. Very pleased with him and his response and asked him to quote for some other work I need doing later in the year. Would certainly recommend and will use Richmond Services again.

Patrick has done several jobs for me, electrical and general. He is my first port of call when I need something done in the house because he is so versatile and knowledgeable.
