I had electrical work and new sink and toilet sorted in bathroom done. As a woman on her own he was very helpful and explained in away that I understood what work I required to be done. Received the quote really fast and confirmed date for work to be done. Completed brilliantly and left the house tidy. Very friendly and very helpful.

We employed Richmond Electrical Services to install additional sockets in several rooms which involved drilling through walls, lifting floorboards, working out how to get the wires through to the right place and cutting very neat channels in the walls. He also moved and upgraded the consumer unit ahead of the meter being repositioned. Patrick arrived on time every day and worked meticulously, cleaning up as he went along. He took time to explain what he was doing and why. He identified and replaced a faulty socket that was not part of the original job. Easy to have around for the best part of two weeks, we wouldn’t hesitate to use Richmond Electrical Services for all our future electrical work.

Richmond carried out an EICR for me at a property and also a few weeks later at the same address, installed a new Dimplex Quantum economy 7 storage heater, moved another and disposed of an old surplus unit. From the first approach, survey, quotation, follow-ups and the actual workdays they have been excellent. The lockdown/ virus restrictions during this will have made contracting more difficult but they ensured the job got done. Their quotation was competitive and I will have no hesitation in using them again in the future.

We had an additional cooker point and spur socket fitted. This entailed removal of floorboards in bedroom to feed through the cable, and also channel out to run the the cable into the wall. All this was completed with the minimal upheaval, the floorboards replaced, less the squeak, and the wall left ready for painting. This excellent work was carried out to a high standard by a friendly professional.

Mr Richmond has just installed some external lighting and power sockets for us, and did an excellent job. He was punctual, super professional, and very neat in his work, also being very organised to keep power cut disruption to a minimum. He also made some very sensible suggestions at the initial visit to improve the way to do what we had in mind. He's also very friendly and polite, we definitely recommend his services and will use again. We're sorry we didn't have any milk in the house to offer him a proper cup of tea!

Richmond Services carried out five electrical jobs for us, all on one call-out. They installed a shaver point in our bathroom, replaced a faulty PCB in our cooker hood, replaced old strip light in garage with new LED fitting, replaced ceiling light in hallway with customer supplied fitting and replaced pullcord switch in bathroom. The work was done to the agreed schedule and at the price agreed. Communication with the Richmond Services has been friendly and prompt. The electrician was efficient and approachable. Very happy with Richmond services and will definitely be recommending to others and using their services again.

Mr Richmond fitted up new security lights for both the front and rear of our property. Nothing was too much trouble, and he responded promptly when called the next day about the PIR sensor for the back garden, which proved to be faulty. He then replaced and recalibrated it - all in the same day. We are very happy with the systems he has installed, which he readily tailored to our requirements, and would have no hesitation in using his service again.

We needed an Electrical Installation and Condition Report for a large family property. We have used Richmond Services before and discussed with Patrick what needed to be done. Very friendly and helpful Receptionist (Mrs Richmond) she organised Mr Richmond the electrician to come to give an estimate the same evening. I had told Mrs Richmond that we had a decorator coming in two weeks time and we needed the electric work doing before then. An acceptable estimate was given and a date was arranged - being fitted-in to a busy schedule. Mr Richmond arrived promptly and did a superb job working efficiently. He removed two wall lights, centre lights and put in another socket. He worked very tidily. I would definitely recommend Richmond Services.

I asked Patrick for assistance after several electricians warned me about the extensive disturbance to walls and floorboards that would be necessary to rewire a lighting circuit and add an earth cable from the fuse box. Patrick carefully considered all the options and completed the work with skill and attention to detail, so the walls and floorboards were not disturbed. I am delighted with the result and highly recommend his services.

I had a lot of "little" things that needed doing, refixing and restringing a curtain rail, easing a door, replacing worn out door locks, fixing an extractor fan, sorting bathroom lights, cutting an access hatch for a drain. Nothing was too small a job and they were all completed quickly and efficiently. Patrick cleared up so well you couldn't tell he had been! I hate having people in the house, but Patrick was efficient, friendly and knowledgeable. He was able to offer longer term solutions on a couple of issues we had. Thoroughly recommended!
