Contacted him last year when we had a leak on the main roof, he came and fixed it we knew it needed all replacing. The kitchen roof was sagging in the middle as tiles to heavy he fitted us in and replaced it just before Xmas, very happy with result. The main roof he said he'd do about June or July and true to his work he let us know when the scaffolding was going up and he was here the following week. Just finished left everything clean and tidy and worked so hard when here. Highly recommend them

My flat kitchen roof was totally destroyed by Storm Arwen and I had rain water coming into the house. I contacted them by text and he responded the next day, coming out quickly to cover the roof with a tarpaulin until he could replace it. He did the work over three days, fitting it in around other customers with similar urgent issues. He did a really good job under difficult circumstances as on one day his labourer was off sick. When extra work needed doing (fascia's and timber replacement) that increased the cost, he talked this over with me. He also replaced the damaged polycarbonate roof from my utility that had been damaged in the storm, which was difficult to access. He really cared about getting it right and watertight for me as quickly as possible. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him. Thank you.

We contacted Jim who promptly came round, assessed the work and gave us a highly competitive quote. However, the reasons we chose Rimmer Roofing were because the business has been established for many years and Jim has extensive experience in the roofing industry also he is a member of Which trusted traders and has great reviews. The work was started in January and finished in February. Jim was professional at all times. He kept us informed of progress and was very helpful throughout. The working area was kept immaculately clean and tidy at all times and never resembled a building site. The finish on the roof is superb and one can see that Jim always takes great pride in his work. The work was completed within budget and nothing was added on to the price. Indeed he also fixed a damp patch on an external wall, removed some unnecessary aerials from the roof and some vegetation growing on the chimney. Overall I would say that if you are looking for a reliable, honest, great value roofer who offers excellent quality look no further.

We have found it difficult to find a tradesman willing to do relatively minor repairs to the valley of our roof. James replied to our enquiry and took time to assess the roof. He explained what he thought needed to be done without trying to persuade us to have more extensive work done. He completed the repairs as he said he would, for a very reasonable price. We found him to be reliable, helpful and thorough.

Had our whole roof retiled recently by Rimmer Roofing and Renovations. This was done to the agreed budget. Bad weather meant that they couldn't carry on work on some days, but this was communicated to us and the team were apologetic (even though it wasn't something they could control). They were always courteous. They swept our driveway before leaving every night and kept everywhere tidy, which was very much appreciated! Would highly recommend this company to anyone.

Jim and his team did a really good job replacing a large leaking flat roof (20 m sq) over my kitchen, bathroom and utility room. They stripped and cleared tin sheeting, bitumen felt and disgusting decayed old stramit boarding and cleared away the rubbish. They put modern timber ply boarding down under high quality underlay and blue/grey felt, and then neatly applied lead flashing to seal against my house wall, and also provided a neat and sealed join with my neighbours flat roof. The price was really good value, it was expertly and quickly done, and I have immediately booked Jim to do work on two other buildings of mine which need his attention.

Well after a few bad experiences with tradesmen it makes a refreshing change to have roofers/builders turn up when they say they will then go on to do an excellent job at a fair price whilst being polite, courteous and helpful. They left the property tidy each day and I felt I could trust them and was happy to leave them to get on with the job.
