We are really pleased that we used Trusted Traders to help us select the firm to carry out a bathroom refurbishment. River Gods (Paul, Paul and Hannah) were very professional from the first scoping visit, then the quotation followed by the actual work and the final minor adjustments. The "can do" approach of Paul was in marked contrast to the other quote we received from another firm and Paul was really helpful in advising us on the various options for tiles, flooring, bathroom equipment etc.. They were also very adaptable to changes requested as the refurbishment progressed. I will not hesitate to use them in future and highly recommend them to other Which subscribers.

The two Pauls installed a neat toilet in a small and awkward space, fitted to the nearest millimetre, connected it through a wall under a flower bed to sewer, in one day. They did this cheerfully, quietly, and didn't mind my last minute panics. I'll certainly ask them for future work.

I had a quick response & visit by Paul to discuss my requirements & provide a detailed quote. The two Paul’s arrived when they had stated & took a couple of days less than had been anticipated to complete the job. Throughout the process there was open discussion about options to taylor the outcome to my needs. Paul even went out of his way to look for & acquire alternative trims to match the specialist grout I had bought. They were very friendly, good humoured, polite & respectful throughout the process. Hannah was polite & provided all the information I required by email. I am already recommending River Gods ltd to friends.

We were really impressed with River Gods right from the first visit. They made the process and organization of getting our bathroom re-done feel so straightforward. Paul came after hours and was able to isolate the leak but unable to effect a full repair due to the late hour. He attended again the following day and replaced the built-in cistern. The work was done professionally, quickly & efficiently. Paul was polite courteous and good humoured.

We had to call Paul to our Mothers house in Cardiff for a leaking toilet cistern at 5.30 pm when we were due back in London. He solved the problem of water everywhere temporarily and then returned to replace the cistern, which was a feat of ingenuity because of its position. He was a lifesaver and knowledgeable about what needed to be done. Very reasonable costs and would highly recommend. Will definitely use Paul again.

We decided to have our bathroom converted to a walk-in shower. Paul and his fellow worker, came when they said they would; due to the current Coronavirus situation they took extra precautions, and cleaned everything down on leaving at the end of the day. They worked non stop for two days and finished up on the final morning, for the final finishing touches. The bathroom looks amazing, we are very pleased with the work, and have no hesitation in recommending River Gods. Thank you.

Paul and his team have just completed a refit of my bathroom. The work was carried out exactly when planned and to a very high standard. The cost was also very reasonable. My home was left completely clean and tidy both during and after the work was completed. The team from River Gods removed all of our old bathroom suite, retiled both the floor and walls, rearranged the furniture and plumbing to maximise our space and put in a whole new suite for us to include a bath, shower, toilet, sink and heated towel rail. The team performed the work in 5 working days, half the anticipated time of the job. The project was within our agreed budget and since completion the new bathroom has changed our every day lives. The bathroom is not only functional but it is so professionally finished that we pinch ourselves every time we go in there. From beginning to end River Gods have been the most loveliest, friendliest team of people. They have been so accommodating towards our needs every step of the way. I really cannot thank them enough for their hard work and effort and I would highly recommend them to anybody.

Repair Shower Tray and new radiator installation

River Gods were asked to assess a leaking shower tray and a leaking radiator. Paul assessed the work and gave an honest overview of what was required. This included repairing the leak from the shower tray, stabilising the tray to minimise movement and removing the old leaking sealant and replacing with new. The replacement radiator was done quickly with minimum disruption. This job had previously been turned down by another tradesman who thought the job was too much trouble. River Gods undertook the work in the time specified and were very tidy. Communication was clear with helpful explanations about what was required. I would recommend this trader.

River Gods are the best building firm we have used. We employed them as plumbers but found them to be multi skilled and able to undertake all aspects of the project. They were well organised, punctual and a pleasure to have around the house. The work was completed on time, to a high standard and within the agreed budget. Any extra work was always agreed in advance and was reasonably priced. They did an excellent job of converting a sad bathroom into a shower room, and completely re-vamping a ramshackle space into a utility room. We will definitely use them again and have no hesitation in recommending them.

Paul and his team deliver a fantastic service. They are very professional, easy to deal with and competitively priced. Our job involved a full bathroom refit and a repair to a water damaged ceiling. It was completed on-time and on-budget. The guys always arrived promptly each morning, did a full day’s work and always cleaned up after themselves every day. Hannah in the office is also a delight to deal with, always quick to respond to any enquiries. I am absolutely delighted with the work. When deciding who to choose for bathrooms/kitchens etc it’s always a little worrisome if you don’t know the company. I can say Rivergods offer a great service, high standard of work and all at a fair price. I will use them again without any hesitation at all. Five stars from me.

We initially started our building project with a different builder who walked out without warning, leaving the job unfinished. Our experience with him, particularly the poor communication and breaking of promises, made us very wary but Rivergods were both professional and friendly, which quickly allayed our fears. They completed a range of jobs including fitting a new bathroom and downstairs toilet, removing and installing radiators, woodwork, plastering and a loft hatch with pull-down ladder. The quality of the work was excellent and we were particularly impressed by Paul and the team’s attention to detail, for example in ensuring fresh plaster was blended in seamlessly. They were fast and on schedule and provided an accurate initial quotation. Throughout, communication was easy and prompt and we felt comfortable having them in our home. We will definitely use them again in the future.

Communication with the office was excellent from beginning to end, and Paul and his team started and finished the work exactly as agreed (important for me as I was travelling a lot that week). Mine was not a straightforward job - they had to work in a very restricted space, and the work required imagination and care as well as skill. They delivered on all counts and left the place clean and tidy, all at a very competitive price. Three weeks on, the flat still looks fabulous. A great team to work with. Thank you, River Gods!

The job was to convert part of an integral garage into a downstairs cloakroom off the hallway for my elderly mother. Paul and his team worked swiftly and tidily and completed the job ahead of schedule. Throughout the job they were open to suggestions by us and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. Load bearing interior wall removed & beam fitted. Replaced with fitted folding glazed oak doors. Two existing doorways blocked up with a plastered finish. This represented four days work during which the care taken with materials, dust sheets etc. was first class. We would have no hesitation in recommending this company to carry out similar building work in the future.

We had our outdoor toilet turned into an indoor cloakroom toilet, which involved knocking down a wall and putting in a new door. We had our bathroom done which was well over due! I use to be so embarrassed when friends would call over and ask to use the loo but now since having the work the done i cannot show it off enough!! The transformation is incredible! River Gods were just fantastic really professional yet friendly lads who strive for perfection and take pride in their work!! As for the cost well it was by far cheaper than all places who quoted us! I trusted rivergods with their ideas and decisions and by god im glad i did! Cannot reccomend them enough i wouldnt use anyone else!! I was so emotional when i saw my new bathroom we are over the moon!!
