We contracted RJS Innovative Builders to renovate our 4 bed Victorian terrace property. Raf and the entire team were great from start to finish. At the outset they invested time in providing solid recommendations for how we should approach the work, using their expertise to point out where we could find efficiencies and how best to sequence the work, without pressuring us to spend more money. The scope of work included: removing an old water tank, installing insulation, plumbing to improve water pressure, restoring original wood floors, re-wiring, painting, decorating, installation of cabinets/wardrobes, replacing radiators, replacing internal doors and creating a new back door. The work was completed to budget and the team always flagged when unexpected costs may be occurred so that we could make an informed decision. Once the work was complete and paid for, they were very responsive in dealing with minor snags and repairs which is very different from previous builders that disappear once the final payment is made. We built a high level of trust that we were confident in leaving the team to finish work while we were away and intend to use this team for any future projects. They have become our 'go-to' for repairs and advice, and have helped make our first house a home that we enjoy every day.

We had a great experience hiring Raphael and crew to perform our kitchen renovation. From start to finish we felt that Raphael and his team were focused on getting a great result. The team performed significant structural work on our house with no fuss opening us between kitchen and dining room and changing the layout of our downstairs. Raphael handled all of the trades for us and had good recommendations for suppliers for things such as glazing, worktops and the kitchen provider that ended up working really well. Raphael was able to adapt to slight changes to the build plan throughout the job and the team was really engaged about making the kitchen the best it could be even if the plan deviated slightly. The finished result is fantastic and we have had so many compliments on it. We feel the work was fairly priced and overall we would definitely recommend using them.

Raphael (The owner) is incredibly thoughtful and attentive, having spent hours with us pre build to make sure every last detail in our plan was measured and accounted for. Adrian (builder) was an absolute marvel. The speed, execution and precision of his work is a site to behold. More than that, him and Nathan (site manager) ensured that the site was also clean and tidy after a day's work. Absolutely brilliant! Our job was completed 100% to our satisfaction and we could not be happier. Yes - the team is incredibly skilled and professional, but more than that - they're just a pleasure to have around the house (warm, friendly, up for a laugh). Highly, Highly recommend!

Raphael and his team did a fantastic job tiling our kitchen splashback and wall. From the first phone call, Raphael was friendly and polite and took time to discuss the ins and outs of the job at length to make sure he had a full understanding of what was needed. He came over to view the job first to make sure there would be no misunderstandings. His team on the day were great, they worked cleanly and efficiently and completed the job to an extremely high standard, always checking with us first before making any decisions. Their work is now the standout part of our kitchen and we are very happy. I would definitely recommend this company for any future work!
